Zahara took the extra time and care to prepare his food, adding toppings and other goodies, which Zeke thoroughly enjoyed. He ate very well, and did not seem stressed out when we picked him up, and aside from missing us, if he had it his way, I think he would have stayed. About: I Grew up with dogs and have two of my own. Boarded dogs since I was in college. Worked with different types of dogs and families! I work different jobs and mostly from home. I have two boys (12 & 10). They are well behaved and always help me with the boarding pups whenever they can The backyard is closed and fenced. I have artificial turf for pups to go potty. And the rest is concrete and river rocks. Fence on both sides to provide privacy and protection

About: I grew up with dogs, and recently had to say goodbye to my own dog after nearly 15 years together. I am a huge dog lover and looking to fill the void of being a pet owner by taking care of neighborhood dogs and taking them on walks and open to pet sitting and drop ins as well! Please ensure your pet is up to date on their flee medication & ensure they are free of flees prior to drop off. For dogs over ~40 lbs: Dog over 40 pounds taken on case by case basis. I specialize in laid-back, family-friendly large breeds and doodle-type mixes. I’m not currently taking high-drive protection breeds. I work from home M-F and am typically home most weekends, a flexible schedule would be best for me since I sometimes will have to work around my own meetings/family plans but am home 90% of the time. I am an incredibly cautious person and would often give dog sitters a 1 page note on what to be careful for with my own dog when they would watch her so I understand the importance of safety, locking up, following owners instructions and being a good communicator. I always loved a little pic/text confirmation that my loved one was being well taken care of and I am happy to do the same.

About: I have taken care of cats since I was a child with my mom. Always have been having 2 cats.. I have had a dog only for fostering for 2 months but I love them too. I feed cats, clean the litter box and check their condition and brush daily. I’m currently working with a part time job so I have a plenty of time hanging out with your cats or puppies. I’m available for drop-in, dog walk and daycare on weekdays 8am-6pm. At home, we provide a room, handmade toys, multiple water bowls, cat towers, window side beds and 3 litter boxes for 2 cats. About: I own a cat and have experience fostering kittens, so if you need someone with the know-how to take care of your kitty, then I'm your perfect match! To those that own dogs, don't worry- I love canines as well and have dogsitted for friends. I am currently home quite often, so if you need someone to supervise your pooch or kitty throughout the day then I am your person! I am also someone whose hobbies are mostly computer-related, so I am able to monitor pets even when I am doing my own thing. I have my own car and can travel to your home anywhere in the South Bay area and Long Beach. I can walk your dogs, feed your cats - any basic service I can provide. If your pet needs company, I can play with them and hang out with them however they like. And if your pet is skittish and shy of new people, I'll be careful to let them approach me at their own pace. I have much experience housesitting and dogsitting for family friends and am ready to use that for others on Rover. With housesitting, I clean up after myself and I will never intentionally leave any mess in your home. I can also water your plants if needed. I have my own transportation, a four-seater sedan, so if I need to drive your pets to the park or to the vet, I can do that for you. However, for owners of very large dogs, I am only 5'8" and around 160 pounds, so I will probably not be able to handle giant dogs if any emergencies were to happen- it could be a safety risk to your dog and to myself. I apologize for any inconvenience.
About: I grew up with dogs, and recently had to say goodbye to my own dog after nearly 15 years together. I am a huge dog lover and looking to fill the void of being a pet owner by taking care of neighborhood dogs and taking them on walks and open to pet sitting and drop ins as well! I am happy to watch well mannered, fully potty trained dogs who are known to be good with children. Please ensure your pet is up to date on their flee medication & ensure they are free of flees prior to drop off. For dogs over ~40 lbs: Dog over 40 pounds taken on case by case basis. I specialize in laid-back, family-friendly large breeds and doodle-type mixes. I’m not currently taking high-drive protection breeds. I work from home M-F and am typically home most weekends, a flexible schedule would be best for me since I sometimes will have to work around my own meetings/family plans but am home 90% of the time. I am an incredibly cautious person and would often give dog sitters a 1 page note on what to be careful for with my own dog when they would watch her so I understand the importance of safety, locking up, following owners instructions and being a good communicator. I always loved a little pic/text confirmation that my loved one was being well taken care of and I am happy to do the same.

“Zahara and her family were amazing. They took really good care of Zeke. It’s the most comfortable and happy I’ve ever seen him, while being boarded. Zeke is super finicky when it comes to eating and most times partakes in fasting, while being boarded. Zahara took the extra time and care to prepare his food, adding toppings and other goodies, which Zeke thoroughly enjoyed. He ate very well, and did not seem stressed out when we picked him up, and aside from missing us, if he had it his way, I think he would have stayed. Also, I loved that she doesn’t take too many dogs at once. Overall, great experience. We will definitely be back soon.”

About: I Grew up with dogs and have two of my own. Boarded dogs since I was in college. Worked with different types of dogs and families! I work different jobs and mostly from home. I have two boys (12 & 10). They are well behaved and always help me with the boarding pups whenever they can The backyard is closed and fenced. I have artificial turf for pups to go potty. And the rest is concrete and river rocks. Fence on both sides to provide privacy and protection
