About: I was raised on a farm where we took care of dogs, cattle, goats and chicken. I grew up always in contact with animals, specially with my dogs that we rescued from the local shelter in Argentina. We rescued more than 8 dogs throughout my life on the farm and we still take care of them as one more on the family. I currently have a reactive catahoula pittie mix that has made incredible progress with her reactivity to other dogs with training. I love all dogs big and small and can handle anxiety reactivity or anything else they might throw at me! Im currently working part time but my schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate my hours to walk your critter or dog at anytime. I currently do not take dogs into my own home because of my dog but am happy to walk your critter or dog sit in the comfort of their own home!

About: I’ve cared for and walked dogs extensively over the last 5 years for family and friends and looking forward to expanding this service to others in the SB community I am a remote worker with a flexible schedule. I spend a lot of my time outdoors whether getting sunshine on the beach or on the trails! I have a pup of my own so if yours ever needs some socializing I can bring her with us or leave her at home if your pup desires more one on one care. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own!! I will provide updates to you on our walks or overnight care so you feel in the loop and at ease.

About: Animals have been a big part of my life as I have always had pets of my own and volunteered with various animal rescue organizations. I am have experience working with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. I have knowledge of basic training, senior care and administration of medications. Your pets wellbeing is what is most important to me and i make your pets behavioral and health needs my top priority. I’m generally available for walks and visits on weekdays after 5 PM and have flexible availability on weekends. I work remotely on Mondays and Thursdays and have Fridays off, which allows me to accommodate uninterrupted house-sitting needs during those days. I have a small fenced yard (where your dog would under constant supervision) and two friendly resident dogs who love doggie visitors. I have two crates and multiple playpens of various sizes. I live close to a tennis court which provides free tennis balls to neighborhood pups and am a short drive from the beach! My home is dog friendly with plenty of toys, dog beds, pet friendly furniture and treats. I have a family member who is home all day to provide your pet with extra love when I go to work.

About: I’ve had my own animals at home and have helped take care of mainly dogs and cats over the years. Animals are so precious to me and caring for them in the right way and getting them what they need is most important to me! I’m currently on summer break but will be starting college in the fall. I have a fully open schedule as of now and when I start school that will become particle. Mornings and evenings would more likely work best for me in the fall but I am very flexible and would love to work with families to figure out a schedule that works. I always keep a close watch on the animals I’m sitting and make them feel as comfortable as I can. Most pets can be anxious away from families so I try my best to company animals and keep them in safe areas that they can play, relax, and enjoy their time!

My husband and I have fostered several dogs over the past few years and pet sit just because we absolutely love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I currently work from home M-F as a Registered Nurse. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to take your dog on multiple walks per day and am able to travel to your home to care for them if needed. I currently live in a home in Santa Barbara. I am happy to travel to help you out with your dog and stay at your home if that’s most comfortable and convenient for you and your pup.

I used to have my own hedgehog, and have helped care for friends’ dogs and cats. I work part-time and have time during my days to stop in and spend time with your pets! About: In recent years, I have built a strong trustworthy reputation via more than 80 (yep, eighty) 5-star reviews on a leading house/pet care platform. Photos of some were in here, but the system removed them. Happy to share that information with you when we are in contact. Most sits span several weeks, with a 4-week minimum being easiest on the schedule. I do tend to book in advance. Because I have cared for senior pets (several being older than 15: both dogs and cats, some sight or hearing or limb-disabled), administered meds which also includes insulin shots, and managed various sizes and breeds, pet parents and high end homeowners appreciate this reliability and standard. In some cases, we have only Zoomed before a sit, and never met in-person. Due to great reciprocal communication, the results were wonderful. I offer experience both house & pet-sitting, and am a former (& future) homeowner. I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. In adulthood, a Lhasa Apso was my co-pilot for 13 years, and I will have others. For now, I enjoy supporting and caring for yours. Let’s Zoom and take it from there. Looking forward. We will discuss this. Historically (for more than 20 years), I have been able to work from anywhere. We can talk through the options together. Unless you hire me for an overnight sit, I will be coming to them for drop-in or other care. I will not be bringing your pet(s) to my location.

I am comfortable with and have a soft spot for big dogs, but am able to walk dogs of all shapes and sizes! I am available weekends, mid day for dog walking. “I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”
