About: I've taken care of dogs for around 7 years as I've walked, played, or house-sat my own dog and my neighbors dogs and had a blast doing it. I am available most late mornings and afternoons, weekends are hard because I have soccer reffing for the whole day each day and it would be hard to squeeze a dog walk in. I can easily settle dogs down, crate dogs, and make them feel relaxed without stress when they sense danger or something is off. I am able to control them no matter the strength they have.

“Merrill was absolutely amazing! Booked her last minute and she was super responsive and reliable! She was so good with my older dog Otis! He came back happy and exhausted from their thorough walk which I was so appreciative of.”

“First walk with our boy Ziggy and she was great. On time, took him out to the dog park, he came back tired. All you can ask for! Super nice and asked all the right questions. We felt very comfortable with her.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—starting with the family dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters I grew up with. Over the past 20 years, I’ve provided trusted pet care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels, as well as cats with all kinds of personalities. I’ve raised two dogs of my own and currently live with a much-loved cat. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and deep understanding of animal behavior. Whether it’s a senior dog needing extra support, a shy cat who takes time to warm up, or a high-energy pup who needs structure and play, I adapt to each pet’s unique needs. I’m also experienced with basic puppy training and feel comfortable administering medication when needed. I treat every pet like family—with plenty of love, consistency, and attention to detail—because I know how much they mean to you. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for—whether it’s daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I’m organized, flexible, and committed to giving each pet the time and attention they deserve. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. --- Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort come first. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs to ensure a smooth, low-stress experience. In your home, I respect your space, follow all instructions carefully, and keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos. If pets are in my home, they’ll enjoy a calm, pet-friendly environment where they’re never left alone for long and always treated like part of the family. --- ### My Pet Care Expertise My life has always been deeply intertwined with animals. From chattering birds and curious hamsters to graceful fish, independent cats, and loyal dogs of all sizes, I've had the joy of growing up with a diverse range of beloved family pets. This lifelong immersion in animal companionship, including personally owning both small and large dogs alongside my current cat, has given me invaluable insight into their unique personalities and needs. Today, my passion for pets continues through the routine care I provide for our **neighbors' and friends' dogs and cats**. This hands-on, consistent experience means I'm adept at maintaining routines, understanding different temperaments, and ensuring every furry guest feels safe, comfortable, and truly loved in a family environment. You can trust that your pet's well-being is my absolute priority. ---

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs- big and small! I have experience with a variety of types and LOVE them all. I’ve taken care of friends and loved ones dogs for years- ranging from little shih tzus to adorable pitbulls! I have multiple hours a day I can dedicate to pet care- I am also quite active so incorporating them into my routine is natural (walks, play time, running) I have a big yard and lots of space for the animals to find comfort inside the house. When in my apartment, I have access to a park right across the road!

“Kaitlyn was great with our 80-pound bernedoodle; we asked her (somewhat last minute!) if should do two walks in a day for us, and she came through! She met him during the initial meet and greet and was great with him, showed up and walked him as expected. I would definitely recommend Kaitlyn.”

“Mira is extremely kind and responsible. I hired her to walk my dog for two weeks every day while I was away – she was very dependable and showed up every single day on time. She seemed to really care about my dog, and my dog liked her. She sent pictures and knows how to handle an older dog.”

About: I love both dogs and cats, and I can’t wait to take care of your pet! (If I see a cute doggie walking outside, I’m that person who has to stop and point them out.) I have experience taking care of both calm and high-energy dogs. For example, I walk and have given medicine to my friend’s senior dogs, and I run and play with my mom’s young border collie. I also have my own cat, so I’m well equipped to deal with pets of all personalities. Just let me know what your dog or cat needs, and I’d be happy to accommodate. I am currently working remotely and have a flexible schedule to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening pet visits and dog walks. I am also available on some weekends with at least 2 days notice. As I only offer drop-in and dog walking services, I will follow only your specific instructions for entering your home and caring for your pet. I have also allowed cat sitters into my own home, so I am very understanding and careful about home security. I am happy to meet your pet anytime ahead of our time together, so that we can become better acquainted.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and calm, reliable presence around animals of all types. I have a background in environmental education and service through AmeriCorps, where I developed patience, strong communication skills, and a love for caring for others, including our four-legged friends. I’m especially good with dogs that need consistency and routine, including puppies who are still learning and senior dogs who need a gentle, attentive touch. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I take pride in being dependable, clean, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. Whether it’s getting the zoomies out on a long walk or keeping an older dog comfortable and relaxed, I’m here to help your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I like having structure in my day, and pet care fits naturally into that. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding routines, or playtime, I enjoy building my schedule around giving pets the attention they need. I’m active and responsible, so making time for walks, check-ins, and quality time with animals feels easy and rewarding. Plus, being around animals helps me de-stress and stay grounded—so it’s something I genuinely look forward to, not just a task to check off. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that matches the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions—whether that’s giving medication, keeping a puppy on track with training, or making sure a senior dog gets their quiet time. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to leave everything clean and in order. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and loved, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and birds. In addition to pet sitting for my neighbors, I grew up in a three dog, six bird, and one cat household - so I deeply understand how to care for these animals! I currently have two Great Dane boys, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I have raised puppies and cared for senior dogs, so I am ready to clean up accidents, administer medications, and respond to your pet’s unique needs as they arise. I am reliable, caring, and attentive, and I will go to great lengths to ensure that your pet has everything that they need while you’re away. I am currently working a very flexible, remote summer internship before departing for school on August 15, so I am fully available for all of your sitting and walking needs until then. Please feel free to reach out if you need a same-day service and I will do my best to accommodate! When I arrive, I will greet your pet and prepare any food or medication they may need. If walking, I will follow your protocol, taking care to avoid hot blacktop surfaces and bringing a portable water bowl so they can stay hydrated in this summer heat! I will spend as much time with your pet as you request and secure your home appropriately when I depart.

“Alex has taken great care of my cat, Pedro, multiple times! Pedro's water bowl is always full when I get back and Pedro is always excited to see Alex come over. He is very gentle with animals and super patient, and is my go-to whenever I need my cat taken care of for multiple days. Alex helped watch my family's dogs once as well and he always gets their energy out with walks and playing with them. I trust him with my pets because I know he will take great care of them!”

Rivercrest dog parents share their Rover experiences
Paige was the best! We hired her for dog walking but would be very comfortable having her pet sit as well. From the moment we met her, we knew our dog was in the best hands. She clearly loves dogs and goes above and beyond to make them happy. She’s not only professional and reliable, but truly treats our pup like her own, with her services filled with love and attention—including detailed updates and adorable photos. Our dog comes back happy and has clearly bonded with Paige, which gives us such peace of mind. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and amazing with dogs, look no further—Paige is amazing!

Yiting is an incredible pet caretaker/walker. She was so patient and thoughtful when meeting our dog Camo, and taking her out for a walk. She has a calming energy and it very trustworthy and knowledgeable with animals (and humans :) I highy recommend her for your fur baby needs.

Paige is a great dog walker! She was on time, sent lots of photos, and provided a detailed update about how our dogs were during the walk. She was also willing to come by and do a meet & greet before we booked, which I so appreciated! We will be using her again. Thank you Paige! 😊

Dana is terrific. We feel very fortunate to have met her. It was easy to make arrangements with her. She clearly has a lot of experience with dogs and really inspired confidence. Our pup took a liking to her immediately and we look forward to her spending a lot of time with him.
