“Aaliyah was absolutely fabulous with my 3 month old puppy. She stayed the entire time during my house sit and sent lots of update pictures to ease my nerves of leaving him for the first time. I strongly recommend Aaliyah and will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have a dog of my own he is very energetic and loves to play which is my favorite thing about him. I love him like he’s my child and i’ll love your dogs the same!!! I have absolutely nothing during the day other then loving your pups and I work most nights from only 4-9! I am open to getting shifts covered if necessary! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and keeping their space clean. In a client’s home, I also respect their house rules and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I give pets plenty of attention and patience so they feel comfortable and cared for in their own environment!!
“Our dogs are a part of our family and have never left them with anyone other than trusted friends. Once meeting David our fears disappeared. He was wonderful with our girls. They loved him. We were able to go on our cruise and enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend him. He was respectful of our home and we came home to a clean home as we left it. He’s amazing.”

“Ana was very good with my dog. He was 5lbs over her comfortable weight limit but that didn’t deter her from taking my dog out to walks. She spent time with him at home and played with him. Fed him as instructed. Overall would book Ana again for overnight stay with my dog.”

I have my own transportation so I can also take them to the park if requested 🙂 I do not have a fence but we have a beautiful lake view, and plenty of open floor space inside so your pet and I can be comfortable while getting to know each other.
“Iloira helped me out with my senior dog who has bad separation anxiety by keeping him company while I enjoyed a night out. She loved on him and took him for a walk and he settled down and took a nap. Iloira sent me updates so I could relax. I knew he was in great hands!”

“Olyssia was the perfect person to watch our babies! They have never been left with someone they were unfamiliar with before, but from the moment she met them during meet and greet, we knew she’d be perfect! She was so attentive to them and their needs, and was so fantastic with communication with us! She sent so many pictures that definitely eased our minds while we were gone. Our animals loved her so much and warmed right up to her! We will definitely rebook with her in the future. ☺️”

“Amber watched our fur babies for 5 days while we were out of the country. Amber sent us pics and texts with updates on our pups and kept us well at ease! Ace and Angel were taken well care of and as happy as could be. Thank you Amber!”

“Sydney took great care of our babies at our house while we were away. She is very responsive and sent pictures and videos everyday. She even offered to come back again if our flight was delayed. It was so nice knowing they were safe and in good hands. We will definitely have Sydney watch them again!”

“Taylor was amazing!!! Shortly after she arrived, our senior dog became violently ill! Our family was either already on a plane to the West Coast or already on the West Coast. We felt very helpless! Taylor kept an eye on him as she communicated what was happening. She was more than happy to take him to the vet hospital. (Thankfully, he was OK after some fluids and meds.) She handled everything with grace and compassion! She did a great job of taking care of our five month old puppy and our cat, as well! We are so very grateful!”

“Chudleigh and I adore Gemar. He shows up on time even 10 minutes before his time scheduled. He is very reliable. He stayed at my house for an overnight. I feel very comfortable with Gemar and I would recommend him to anyone.”

“Lorianne was absolutely incredible with our pets! Our dog is very timid and wary of strangers, but he absolutely loved her! She sent pictures and updates regularly, and we felt very safe with her :)”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hailey did an amazing job caring for our home and pets while we were away for four days and three nights. From the start, she was professional, dependable, and easy to communicate with, which gave us great peace of mind during our trip. Our pets were clearly well cared for and received plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. Hailey kept us updated while we were away, and it was reassuring to know everything was going smoothly. When we returned home, our pets were happy and relaxed, and our house was clean, secure, and well maintained. Hailey went above and beyond our expectations and treated both our home and pets as if they were her own. Her rates were very fair, especially considering the outstanding level of care and service she provided. We highly recommend Hailey to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and caring house and pet sitter. We will absolutely be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Hailey!”

“She’s amazing. From the meet and greets we had I knew she would be the one because of her caring attitude towards Chloe and the questions she asked us. Whilst we were away she bonded with Chloe which was awesome and she was reluctant to leave Chloe on her own for more than hour, which was her choice. She had great communication and updated us with texts and pics of Chloe throughout the day for the duration of her stay. She left our house in tip top shape exactly as she had found it which was an added bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and we will definitely be repeat customers.”

“Mackenzie was such an awesome Dogsitter. My dog is older and needed routine and to be at home. I’m so glad we found Mackenzie. She provided updates on Rio and we came home to a very happy dog. She was also very good at communicating and arranging a meet before we left. I recommend her very highly.”

About: I have had many dogs since I was born and have owned many animals including hamsters and snakes. I have treated minor illnesses in dogs before and know multiple emergency vet offices nearby. I am comfortable giving medicines and keeping strict routines and diets. I excel in reading animal body language and understanding and avoiding triggers. I attend College classes Mondays and Wednesdays. I also have a part-time job that I work Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. I usually wake up around 7:30 and have a relaxing morning to myself. I spend my free time at home doing school work and hanging out with my dog and cat. I have a 3/4 acre lot with a six foot chain link fence. I have a Shar-pei American Bulldog mix and a Domestic Shorthair cat, both do well with other animals and can be contained if the need arises. Animals get fed twice a day, 1/2 a cup each morning and evening for the puppy and 1/4 cup each morning and evening for the kitty. The animals are let out freely as we have a screened in pool with a dog door. Toys are preferred but if your baby likes the dog park I know of many and am willing to go with them. Animals are not allowed on the furniture but can get plenty of snuggles on the floor!
The median cost per night for house sitting in River Park is $50

Aaliyah went above and beyond caring for our dog Millie in our home for 10 days! She took great care of Millie and even cleaned up very well after come accidents Millie had. She was very communicative and took extra care of our dog’s itchy paws. We definitely plan to use her for future boarding. Highly recommend!

Ashley was absolutely wonderful during my 8-night house-sitting stay! She stayed in my home and took amazing care of my two Great Danes and my cat while I was away. She was reliable, respectful of my home, and gave me complete peace of mind throughout my trip. She sent regular updates and photos, which I truly appreciated, and it was obvious from every message that she genuinely cared for my pets. They received so much love, attention, and excellent care, and I came home to three happy, relaxed animals and a well-cared-for house. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely book Ashley again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable house sitter!

Enzo had the pleasure of David caring for him for a week. They went for long walks, watched the fireworks and lots of love and cuddles. David is amazing and such a great find for us. He is very kind and responsible. We never have to worry about Enzo while we are away.
Kimberly was amazing, and I highly recommend her! She was responsible, friendly, and provided excellent communication throughout the entire stay. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, my pets were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when I returned home. I would absolutely book with Kimberly again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter.

My 3 dogs were taken care of for 2 weeks at my home and they were all fine and no issues with escaping. One of them realized she could jump my fence right before I left but there was no escaping when I was gone because she kept the doors locked. My dog checks! She handled them and I had peace of mind.

Amanda house sit with Fabio for a week while I was on vacation. She was great with my shy little guy. She visited with him before the sitting and he was relaxed and comfortable with her. Amanda is kind and caring and Fabio sensed this right away. While I was away she kept in contact with me with messages and pictures which I appreciated. I returned home to a happy little guy. I definitely recommend her if you want to have piece of mind that your babies will be well taken care of while your away.

Adriana was great with Bailey. He liked her from the beginning. When she came over to meet us, she spent a lot of her time interacting with Bailey. Then, when we were talking, Bailey went over and lay down with his head on Adriana's feet. So we felt very comfortable leaving him with her as a first time sitter. She kept in touch with texts and let us know every day how Bailey was doing. She left the house in better shape than when we left. We will definitely use her again.

Juliana was AMAZING!!! She was so organized and thorough when it came to telling me her schedule. I felt so confident that my dogs were in great care with her. In addition, she was so respectful of my home while watching our pups and went above and beyond. I will definitely be booking her again and again!
My husband and I had a 10 day trip pre-planned when we adopted 3 shelter cats several months prior. Because of their age and emotional 'baggage' we wanted an experienced cat sitter for them in our home. We chose Nabilah for several reasons: 1. She was not the cheapest. Her pricing reflects her excellent qualifications and extensive experience, not only with cats but with all animals. 2. She has her own 5 rescue cats. 3. She came to our home to meet us and our cats and to tell us about herself before we booked with her. 4. She is a genuinely nice person. While we were away, Nabilah kept in regular contact with us, sending texts and photos several times per day, and she always answered my phone calls. She stayed on the feeding & playtime schedule we had established but since our cats were so new, I asked for any suggestions or observations. She was very helpful in that regard and brought in different types of cat food textures and different treats to try. Nabilah also worked with our cats, successfully getting them all to use the litter robot - which we were thrilled about! Ten days is a long time to leave your pets but Nabilah did a wonderful job taking care of our three and giving them love and affection while we were away. Before we returned, Nabilah straightened up the house, vacuumed, cleaned the countertops, etc. This wasn't expected but was very much appreciated! We could not have chosen a better person to entrust with our home and with the care of our precious kitties! Yes, we 100% recommend Nabilah!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in River Park on Rover is $52.5 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 619 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across River Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred River Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in River Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in River Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in River Park. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
