We love our pets like family! We provide a safe, secure, loving environment. Your pets may not want to leave! I am retired and Jim is semi-retired. We are able to give all visiting dogs our full attention. We offer a flexible schedule to meet your dogs' needs to whatever he/she will need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. We have a double fenced yard: the main over-sized yard has a 5' chainlink on 2 sides, and 6' sold cedar fence on the other side. We have upgraded our backyard to include 500 square feet of artificial dog- friendly turf. The turf yard has its own 3 ft wire fence all around it. The whole yard has multiple shade trees to keep temperatures cooler, especially in summer. All dogs are allowed in the air-conditioned house and on most furniture. Sleeping arrangements are what works for your dog's comfort. Whether it's on the cool tile floor or on the bed/sofa your dog will be accommodated to their liking. **As an added step in protecting your dog's well being, we also have our own insurance policy through Pet Sitters' Associates.**

He is on a special diet and takes medication twice a day. It is taking me years to be able to hold him and allow him to trust me. Even though I don’t get to see him as often as I wish as he’s almost 200 miles away but when I do, we have some nice quality time I’ve been watching my friends chocolate labrador for the last 10 years he has become part of my family since he’s been a puppy I have great neighbors who also help and spend time with Sammy the chocolate lab since i’m retired now when i dog sit the dogs get spoiled and have the best of times. as i can devote my days to them to make them feel special and loved by someone who is new to them. my motto is , if i’m on the couch watching tv , the dog will be sitting next to me on the couch. when i go to sleep. the dog is allowed on the bed and i even have stairs so they don’t have to jump. and if allowed i i make homemade frosty paws treats with fresh greek yogurt , peanut butter and bananas and give them to the dogs to enjoy now and then. as long as the owners say it’s okay. as for food from the table. that is a no unless the owners say it’s okay. but it’s only as a treat. and if i have steak bones or pork bones , with owners permission i will give them if i happen to be smoking a pork butt or grilling a steak.

About: I am an animal lover who has worked at an animal sanctuary for nearly twenty years. I would love to care for your pets whether it’s a walk, play time, cleaning up, administering their meds, or staying with them while you are out for the day. I don’t overnight but on house-sits I can spend the day with them, sleep at home, and then go back in the morning if you need extended care for them while you are away. I am off and available anytime on the weekends. During the week, I can work from your home if your pet needs care and attention while you are away. I will care for your pets in your own home. I can also offer walks around your neighborhood or outings to walking trails or parks.

I'm willing to provide care in your home, the occasional walk or two, as well as drop in visits.
