“Olyssia was the perfect person to watch our babies! They have never been left with someone they were unfamiliar with before, but from the moment she met them during meet and greet, we knew she’d be perfect! She was so attentive to them and their needs, and was so fantastic with communication with us! She sent so many pictures that definitely eased our minds while we were gone. Our animals loved her so much and warmed right up to her! We will definitely rebook with her in the future. ☺️”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, volunteered at local shelters, and have adopted every pet I’ve owned. As a Treasure Coast local, I enjoy giving back to our community by helping make life a little easier for fellow pet owners. I currently have two cats, Milo and Atticus, and a Doberman, Lou, so I’m comfortable caring for both cats and energetic dogs. At 6’4”, I’m also confident handling larger, stronger breeds while always prioritizing your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I have a very flexible schedule, I own a pet waste pickup company that allows me to build my schedule out how I want to. I’m available anytime, weekend or weekday. First and foremost, I’m very respectful of clients homes. I will always handle my job with integrity and transparency. You can rest assured all fur babies will be attended to. If you have any special request or needs, please let me know! Pictures and updates will be shared frequently!
“Jayla house sat for us while we were out of the country for a wedding and was amazing. She took great care of our dog (including ear medicine), kept us updated, and left our place spotless. No issues at all, would book again”

About: I have a pet named molly! She’s a sweet cat that I’ve owned since I was a child! I also have done dog walks for a family. I enjoy spending time with animals and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to take care of yours:) I can take your dogs on walk, check in on them, play with them, feed them and more! I go to classes a few times a week in the morning and have the whole day available for you! Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. Before entering or leaving, I ensure all entryways are secure so no pets can slip out. During walks, I use a secure, double-checked leash attachment and maintain absolute awareness of our surroundings, avoiding interactions with unknown dogs or hazards.
“Always happy having Iloria take care of our floor kids while we’re gone. So thankful to have her available to help. Multiple repeat time customer since we moved to PSL! Highly recommended!”

“Lori is a trustworthy and highly reliable dog sitter. I would definitely recommend her. She’s so good with dogs, both big and small! She loves & cares for the dogs as if they’re her own. We look forward to booking her again.”

About: Hi! I'm Vivian, a lifelong dog lover who believes every dog deserves patience, affection, and plenty of attention. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'm reliable, communicative, and happy to follow your dog's routine, whether that means long walks, playtime, medication reminders, or lots of cuddles. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel safe, loved, and excited to see me again. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pet throughout the day. Whether your dog needs regular walks, playtime, companionship, or simply someone to keep them company, I'll be there to maintain their routine and make sure they feel comfortable while you're away. Since I'll be caring for your dog in your home, my priority is to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. I'll also keep your home clean and respected, and I'll send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I have had many dogs since I was born and have owned many animals including hamsters and snakes. I have treated minor illnesses in dogs before and know multiple emergency vet offices nearby. I am comfortable giving medicines and keeping strict routines and diets. I excel in reading animal body language and understanding and avoiding triggers. I attend College classes Mondays and Wednesdays. I also have a part-time job that I work Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. I usually wake up around 7:30 and have a relaxing morning to myself. I spend my free time at home doing school work and hanging out with my dog and cat. I have a 3/4 acre lot with a six foot chain link fence. I have a Shar-pei American Bulldog mix and a Domestic Shorthair cat, both do well with other animals and can be contained if the need arises. Animals get fed twice a day, 1/2 a cup each morning and evening for the puppy and 1/4 cup each morning and evening for the kitty. The animals are let out freely as we have a screened in pool with a dog door. Toys are preferred but if your baby likes the dog park I know of many and am willing to go with them. Animals are not allowed on the furniture but can get plenty of snuggles on the floor!
“Melissa was amazing! She came and met my Pixie before we had to go on our trip. She sent me pictures everyday and let me know how she was. Melissa was super nice and did more then needed!!”

About: I have been taking care of our personal dogs and cats since a young age. We have owned and worked with a variety of animals from geckos to horses and have 3 years of experience working at a boarding facility in Jupiter. We currently own one dog, two geckos, and have a number of fish tanks. I currently run my own business from home. This allows me to focus on your dog as much as needed. I prefer to allow the dogs to roam freely in the house but I do have crates if requested. From highly energetic to couch potato my goal is to make your dog happy during its stay! I like to make sure all dogs under my care are free to explore our large, privacy fenced backyard which I regularly patrol for yard hazards. When I’m the house the dogs are free to lay on any of our dog beds, couches and our bed if overnight. I work full time from home, so I am constantly with the dogs. This also allows for backyard playtime every hour or two! No matter how demanding the dog we have the time and patience for them. There’s no dog that’s too much to Handle. We have a fenced back yard and have multiple playtimes throughout the day. We can crate dogs if necessary and have multiple dog beds and couch space for lounging. We have multiple space bedrooms to separate dogs that need it. With no rugs throughout puppies are no hassle! Being home full time allows plenty of time for hanging out with your pet. Regular back yard play breaks happen every 1 or 2. Wether your dog wants to be by itself or wants constant attention I have the time and space for them! I like to focus on playing as much as the dogs want, and go on daily walks around the neighborhood to allow them to explore. I have multiple crates if your furry friend prefers them. All dogs will be allowed to roam free during their whole stay have constant access to water. We have a local dog park that I may bring your dog for extra play time. Wether it’s a late night potty time or firework anxiety we are their for you dog! I have a fully fenced back yard and a spare room for dogs that may want separation. Your pets are encouraged to go outside as much as they would like. We have a screened in patio if chilling in the shade is more your pets speed. I prefer to board pets cage free but do have crates if your requested! No need to bring yours! my schedule pets your pets first, with plenty of time for long walks or playing. I only work part time as I am trying to make this my full time passion! I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of open space inside for the pups to enjoy. My personal dog has been socialized since i’ve gotten her with tons of dogs and lots of time in the public.

“Taylor was amazing!!! Shortly after she arrived, our senior dog became violently ill! Our family was either already on a plane to the West Coast or already on the West Coast. We felt very helpless! Taylor kept an eye on him as she communicated what was happening. She was more than happy to take him to the vet hospital. (Thankfully, he was OK after some fluids and meds.) She handled everything with grace and compassion! She did a great job of taking care of our five month old puppy and our cat, as well! We are so very grateful!”

“Anna was really attentive. She provided daily updates that included pictures. She made sure that Spirit was well taken care of while I was away. I was hesitant to book her considering her previous review. But she was very matter of fact with me and why she received that review and she more than made up for it with me. I would definitely book her again for any future services.”

“Cannot say enough about the care Piper received while I was away. Sonia was great. Kept me informed the entire time. Would always use her un the future! I tipped her in person, but here is something extra.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Pierce South
Olyssia was the best dog sitter we have ever had! She was very responsive, took great care of our dogs, and left our house clean and tidy. She sent pictures of the dogs throughout her stay with them. She went above and beyond to care for, exercise and entertain them.

I’ve used Krista for drop-ins before, but this was her first time staying overnight with the dogs — and she did a great job. She was communicative, dependable, and kept me updated, which gave me peace of mind. I have a senior dog who needs special care and she did wonderful. Looking forward to using Krista again! 🐾

Very happy to have found Janet. She has a nice soft way with our dog and cat. She communicated with us extremely well and we were very happy with the overnight house sitting she did for us. We will definetly be using Janet again when we figure out our next adventure.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Fort Pierce South walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Fort Pierce South maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Fort Pierce South choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
