About: Hi, I’m Amy! 🐾🩷 I always joke that I should’ve been a vet because animals have had my heart my entire life, but I ended up in healthcare instead! I’ve always had German Shepherds, so big dogs don’t scare me, but I truly love all animals. Two legs, four legs, feathers, scales—or even an entire fish tank—I’m happy to help! 😂 I even have a house chicken named Isaac (who I found on the side of the road—true story!) who is completely convinced he’s a dog. 🐥 I work Monday–Friday from 8–4:30, so I’m available before and after work, evenings, and have much more flexibility on weekends. About: Though I do not have a yard, I do understand the importance of daily activity (especially for dogs) and in regards to that, I live in close proximity to two dog parks. Growing up around different animals, I’ve grown fond, familiar, and comfortable with caring for different species (from rodents to felines and canines and pretty much anything in between). I am looking to make extra money and gain experience with different breeds of animals, as I am planning to embark on a journey into veterinary school. I love all animals and believe wholly in treating and caring for them correctly. I’ve had cats, dogs, rodents (gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs) , ferrets, birds, reptiles (leopard geckos and turtles), and rabbits just to name a few.
