Although her yard is not fenced in, and no other dogs were in the house that day, I was pleased that she took Wren for a walk in the park across the street from her house, and let him play with some other dogs that were there at the time. She sent me photos of Wren during the day, and from her messages I could tell that she was interacting with him.
