Hi! I’m Amanda Briggs, and I have extensive experience caring for and training dogs. I’ve raised and trained my own dogs from puppies, including helping care for litters until they were ready for new homes. I’m patient, attentive, and truly love working with animals. I’m happy to walk, feed, play, and work on basic training if desired. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I can also help with light cleaning if requested. Your pet will be in caring, experienced hands — I look forward to meeting you both!

For in-home care, I follow each pet’s routine closely to maintain comfort and consistency. This includes feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and providing companionship and supervision. I keep the home clean and secure and make sure pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dog walking, I focus on safe, attentive walks tailored to each dog’s energy level and needs. I reinforce good leash manners, remain aware of surroundings, and ensure dogs get both exercise and mental stimulation. I always prioritize safety and reliability while providing regular updates to owners.

Amanda house sit with Fabio for a week while I was on vacation. She was great with my shy little guy. She visited with him before the sitting and he was relaxed and comfortable with her. Amanda is kind and caring and Fabio sensed this right away. While I was away she kept in contact with me with messages and pictures which I appreciated. I returned home to a happy little guy. I definitely recommend her if you want to have piece of mind that your babies will be well taken care of while your away.
I had a great experience with Amanda during a week-long stay at our home. We have four dogs, and she did a wonderful job caring for them — including giving medication to two of them. When we returned home the dogs were happy and clearly well cared for. She was very communicative throughout the stay, sending photo updates and checking in with questions when needed, which we really appreciated. She was always responsive and easy to reach. She also took great care of our home — everything was clean when we got back, and she handled things like packages and taking out the trash. There were a couple times where she had to be away longer than expected before letting the dogs out, but it was due to circumstances outside of her control and she communicated with me about it. Overall, she is very friendly and clearly very kind with animals. We would absolutely book with her again and would recommend her to others looking for a reliable sitter.
