I work part-time, which gives me enough flexibility to dedicate time and attention to the pets in my care. When you’re away from home, I can keep your pet company, play with them, give them plenty of affection, take them for walks, and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I also offer daycare in my home and overnight care, depending on each pet’s needs. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for, just as they would at home, while their families are away. In my home, pets are part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced and secure yard with a small grassy area where they can go outside, play, and enjoy some fresh air. Inside the home, they have a comfortable and safe environment where they can relax and spend time with the family. I want pets to feel at home and be part of our family life, so I do not use crates as part of their daily routine. They are free to move around the safe areas of the house and yard, always taking into consideration their personality, needs, and their owner’s instructions. I have a one and a half year old Yorkie who is part of our family and is used to enjoying the house and yard freely. Of course, whenever I care for another pet, I respect their boundaries, energy level, and any special instructions provided by their family. If I care for your pet in your home, I maintain their usual routine and carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and any other needs. About: I’ve owned dogs most of my life and consistently for the past 11 years — small or large, puppy or senior, I love them all. My own pets thrive on routine, so your dog will get consistent walks, feeding times, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I currently share my home with a pug and an 18-year-old cat, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. Even with a wonderful grassy fenced-in backyard to play in, Camille also took our dog for two walks along the peaceful tree-lined neighborhood she resides in. Our dog is generally anxious in new settings but, when I came to pick him up, he was completely relaxed on the rug along with their dog, Rosie. With other Rover sitters, he usually bolts for me and the door simultaneously with a wide-eyed frenzy which I had always chalked up to his anxious personality. When my dog didn't bolt, I knew immediately that she had been especially hospitable kind and loving towards him - for him to feel so safe and look so comfortable and at home. I saw it in his manner and felt it in my gut. There is only one other Rover sitter (out of many we have tried) that has had this effect on him.
