We are Michelle and Otavio, a mother-and-son team with a lifelong love for dogs. Michelle grew up on a farm, where she often cared for stray dogs and helped them feel safe, healthy, and loved. She passed this same care and respect for animals on to her children, and dogs have always been part of our family life. We understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust. With us, your dog will receive patient attention, gentle handling, and a calm, loving environment where they can feel comfortable and at home.

We left our tiny (3.5 lbs) Chihuahua with Michelle and Otavio while we went to Japan for over a month. As soon as we left, he developed an ear infection. Michelle reached out to me right away to let us know. She made an appointment with our regular vet, took him to her (even though she is an hour away), and then gave him his medication for seven days. This is our third time having Michelle and Otavio watch Emerson. They’ve always taken such good care of him, I was not worried at all. The way they addressed this health issue was so impressive, I definitely hope to keep working with them in the future!
My dog absolutely loves staying with Michelle and Otavio. As soon as we show up, she is pulling to get inside and is overjoyed to see them. My dog can be a bit quiet and anxious, so the fact that she’s that excited to see them is amazing! I’m very picky about who I let watch my dog, but I always feel good about leaving her with them. Highly recommend!
Michelle and Otavio are great. Took wonderful care of our Caviliers and were very prompt in answering our questions. We will absolutely be using them again!

Schedule
We are a family of four, and there’s always someone at home, ensuring your puppy gets plenty of attention and playtime! We are available for boarding on weekends and anytime during the weekdays.

We live in downtown Oak Park, near the Oak Park Library. We live in an apartment and are delighted to welcome dogs who are fully house-trained and do their business outside. If your pet is pad-trained, our home may not be the best fit.
A typical day
We are passionate about stimulating your dog both physically and mentally, as seeing them happy brings me true joy. Here, it’s all about fun, care, and unconditional love, shared equally with every pup.
