“Karla was our dog walker when she lived in the Boston area. We were so sorry to see her move away! Karla worked for us for several years. We have 2 dogs- one of which has some issues with prey drive. Karla did a great job learning our dog’s triggers. It was such a real relief that she listened to our concerns and was willing to follow our advice to avoid any issues. My other dog is older and requires meds, also no issues. Overall, Karla was just so incredibly professional. Our jobs require a lot of travel- and sometimes that comes with the unpredictable issues. If Karla had availability, she was always willing to flex her schedule to help us out- I could send her a note and let her know I was going to be late getting home and she would stay to feed the dogs or offer an additional walk. It was just such a relief to have someone we could rely on like that. Karla stayed in our home many times. She always left the house spotless and in perfect order. My neighbors would comment on that she was quiet and polite. I highly recommend Karla, and would not hesitate to hire her again. We will miss having her take care of our dogs!”

I am willing to stay at clients home to care for pets along with staying over night. During my availability I can let pets outside/hang out with them inside at any time, give needed medication, walk, and play.

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I can remember and have lived with pets since I was 12. I’ve been a mom to two dogs and 7 cats. I am a very active person. I love going for walks, going to dog parks, playing with both cats and dogs. I am a mature, responsible professional and I currently have a lot of free time. I would like to spend that time doing what I love. I have two cats now, Rue and Fiver. I fostered Rue in 2020 and decided right away that he belonged with me. For the next 3 years, I continued to foster and then decided Rue needed a permanent companion, so Fiver became the perfect little brother. I am a teacher and I do not work during the months of July and August so am available any time of day. During the school year, I am available weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. I cannot offer pet care in my home at this time. I am very careful with all animals and will make sure they are safe and comfortable.

About: I no longer have pets of my own. My children are grown ups and out of the house on their own. My home is empty. I still love my freedom but would love to take on sitting your pet. I work from home Monday-Fri and have lots of free time to take care of your pet in my home. Give me a shot please! My yard is not fenced in, however I am fully able to take your pet outside on a leash and for a walk to potty.
