About: I have owned dogs and cats my entire life! I volunteered for the Indianapolis Humane Society for 2 years where I gained experience walking dogs of all energy levels and sizes. I also have experience dog walking for my friends and family. I love all dogs and cats and I am excited to spend time with yours! I am currently home from college for the summer and I am not working, so I have a lot of time to care for your pets! I am available any day of the week or the weekend. My house has a fenced in yard and I do not currently own any dogs and cats, so your pet is more than welcome to stay at my house for the day. I am aware of near by emergency pet care facilities in case of emergency. I am very conscious of how I hold the leash when walking and I ensure that all doors and windows stay shut.
“Amanda was great and Millie had a great time with Porky. She came home exhausted after having several days of playing. Amanda was incredibly accommodating after I booked daycare only instead of boarding. She offered to watch Millie overnight without hesitation. She’s super easy to get ahold of and provides regular updates. Of course Porky kept Millie super busy and having fun!”

“I was so happy Monica was able to take care of our new puppy today. Since she doesn't currently have a pet in her home, this was the perfect fit for our puppy's first day away from being only with us for the last six weeks. Monica took great care of August, and I appreciate the nice long walk to help with tiring him out. Would definitely book again, and I hope she gets plenty of business as a new Rover sitter!”

“Maureen was super flexible and eager to get to know our dog. My pup was good and tired from exploring her cute home & gorgeous backyard while running around with her dog Jordan. I will be back.”

About: Hii :) Our fur babies are like family 🫶❤️ I have always loved dogs and taken care of them my whole life, compassion & reliability is my specialty I’m currently taking time off before I start my next job so I am very open and flexible! I currently have no dogs living with me (my dog lives with my boyfriend) so happy to accommodate dogs that are more shy I live in an apartment, but right on a walking trail and tons of grass space so we take walks and outside adventures often. I am a paranoid soul & helicopter parent so no worries, I will follow your dog around with a pillow! haha
About: What sets me apart is that I truly understand pets because I've spent my life around them. I grew up caring for shelter cats as well as small, medium, and large dog breeds, and I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs on my own. As a proud Siberian Husky mom, I'm comfortable with high-energy dogs and understand the importance of exercise, enrichment, consistency, and patience. I treat every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and individual needs. I also know how important communication is for pet parents, which is why I provide frequent updates, photos, and videos throughout each stay. My goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving their owners complete peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in caring and reliable hands. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I currently work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to fully dedicate time throughout the day for feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and any special needs each pet may have. I’m able to plan my work around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get consistent attention, companionship, and love rather than being rushed or left unattended. On a weekly basis, I can easily adjust my workload to accommodate longer stays, multiple check-ins, or specific routines requested by pet parents. Because I’m home-based, I’m present and available to respond quickly, ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and supervised environment where pets are treated like part of the family. Since I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to give them consistent attention throughout the day, including feeding, walks, playtime, and enrichment activities tailored to their needs and energy level. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure in a new environment. I make sure they always have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of companionship so they’re never feeling isolated or bored. Safety is a top priority, so I supervise interactions at all times and create a stress-free space where pets can relax, play, and feel at home while their owners are away.

“Julie was amazing! She watched Dallas super last minute while I was in town for a wedding, and I’m so grateful. She was kind, reliable, and made me feel comfortable leaving him with her even on short notice. Dallas was well taken care of, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a sweet and trustworthy sitter!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
