About: We are an energetic family with four boys ages 6-12 who love to play! If you are looking for a safe space for your dog(s) to receive lots of love, play, belly rubs, and time outside, we would love the opportunity to share our home with your pet! We are a homeschooling family, so I am home much of the time and available to allow your pet to take frequent potty breaks and have plenty of time to play and exercise. If your dogs love kids and are eager to play, our loving family and home are a fantastic solution! We have a large fenced-in backyard (6ft. privacy fence) with plenty of room to run and chase tennis balls. Our home is comfortable and inviting. Dogs are allowed to roam on the main level and in the basement but are not permitted upstairs in the bedrooms. Well-trained pets are free to roam whenever we are out of the home during the day. Our younger children still wake up during the night, so in order to prevent any "scares" or barking, dogs must be crated at night. Owners must provide the crate. Dogs are given a final potty break around 10PM, crated, and then released from their crate around 6:30 AM and immediately taken outside to use the bathroom, then free to roam and play for the duration of the day. Whenever a dog shows any signs of wanting to go outside, they are immediately let out. If our high-energy environment becomes overwhelming for your pet, I can offer a safe, quiet space for rest. Dogs who would be a good fit in our home: -can easily tolerate (and NOT dominate) young children -love to play -enjoy lots of run time/exercise -enjoy (and don't shy away from) physical affection (i.e. belly rubs, head scratches, fully body hugs) - easily sleep in a crate at night -are not bothered by general kid energy (yelling, running, loud noises) -are not highly anxious or territorial or aggressive toward kids of any age in any way -do not chew on strewn toys, furniture, stuffed animals, etc. All feeding and any medication instructions will be strictly followed. I will provide regular updates and photos of your pet's stay with us so that you can continue to feel connected even while away.
“Excellent, as always!!! Tallulah knows exactly where she’s at when we get to the cross streets and couldn’t be happier. Today she showed off her super speedy skills to her bud Bruce. Richard was sure to send me pictures throughout the day to show me what a good time she was having. I never worry when she is in their care. Thanks for taking such good care of my girl ❤️”

“We had a 11th hour care request for our dog Oslo and Megan was kind to agree to host him. She was prompt in her communication and Oslo had a great time staying with them. I’d definitely recommend Megan and Mowgli to anyone looking for dog daycare!”

“This was my first experience with Rover and absolutely loved it. Monica was professional, listened to the directions with care, shared pictures of the walks and I definitely recommend her. And of course, I will look for her next time I book day care again. You were amazing! Thank YOU!”

“Sarah was quick to respond to my request which I really appreciated. Her family and my pups were a nice match. The fenced in yard made it easy for my dogs to get some exploration time. And her little boy made my dogs feel very special! We would love to use her again!”

“Samantha is so great! We needed to drop our dog off super early and she was so accommodating. Our girl is super high energy and always attached at the hip, so it was great to know she was getting playtime and love while we were gone.”

About: I have always had a dog in my life. I’ve raised 3 from puppies.. . my oldest lived to 16 years. I am now retired and have time and energy to share my home with other dogs. I currently share my single story home with a 9 year old standard poodle who loves to have canine company. I’m home most of the day most days. We routinely leash-walk for 20 minutes or more twice a day and will be outside in my small fenced-in yard multiple times throughout the day. I can easily accommodate a crate, if desired.
“We were really worried about our dachshund as he’s still a puppy and is very scared of everything. He’s doing so good with the other dogs and slowly warming up! So glad Casey could help!”

“Celeste was kind enough to book a stay for our two pups very last minute. She sent photos of our dogs on a hike and in a cool park- which I know they loved! They slept the whole way home and are still pooped the day after. I know they had a ton of fun- thanks so much Celeste!!”

“Sharon was fantastic! Appears my dogs never even missed us! Ideal arrangement for us to have her watch them while we visited with a friend and her husband when passing through Indianapolis on our way to Wisconsin from our home outside Nashville, TN. Thank you Sharon! I highly recommend others use Sharon if wanting a loving home your pets can stay at when not able to accompany you. I have one dog around 60 lbs and other around 20 lbs. both rotten so loving care is what I want when needing an alternate care arrangement. Sharon met our needs! Now back on the highway.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages over the past 15 years, from the time we got my first family dog, through my adult life of helping out with neighbor’s, friend’s and family’s dogs. I have experience with a wide range of dogs, from elderly Yorkies to juvenile Bernedoodles. And I make sure to treat every dog with the care as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible remote work schedule, and am available to drop in, take your pet for a walk, or board your pet at my home. I have plenty of time throughout the day to tend to your pet’s needs whether that is with a walk, play time, or otherwise. I have a fenced in yard, and a mini-Aussie who loves playing with other dogs to keep your pet company. Even for a drop in I can bring Kobe along to give your dog a mid-day play date.
“This was our very first Rover experience, and I couldn’t be happier! Cora had such a great day & came home relaxed and happy. Communication was smooth, and I felt at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind and would definitely book again!”

“Maureen was super flexible and eager to get to know our dog. My pup was good and tired from exploring her cute home & gorgeous backyard while running around with her dog Jordan. I will be back.”

“Taylor was so kind and amazing with the dogs- they had the best time playing with her pup! Our dogs are not super used to being left with other people and seemed immediately comfortable! Taylor was really flexible about times which made our day so much smoother. Thank you!”

“Emily was our first Rover experience! We were so pleased with her level of communication. She took great care of our pups and entertained them while we went to a basketball game. They were both happy and calm when we returned. We’d use Emily again without hesitation. Thanks for helping our stay in Indianapolis go so smoothly! Now, only if the Fever had won!!”
