Safety, trust & environment
If your dogs love kids and are eager to play, our loving family and home are a fantastic solution! We have a large fenced-in backyard (6ft. privacy fence) with plenty of room to run and chase tennis balls. Our home is comfortable and inviting. Dogs are allowed to roam on the main level and in the basement but are not permitted upstairs in the bedrooms. Well-trained pets are free to roam whenever we are out of the home during the day. If dogs can sleep downstairs comfortably without getting into things or whining or barking during the night they do not need to be crated. Whenever a dog shows any signs of wanting to go outside, they are immediately let out. If our high-energy environment becomes overwhelming for your pet, I can offer a safe, quiet space for rest. Dogs who would be a good fit in our home: -can easily tolerate (and NOT dominate) young children -love to play -enjoy lots of run time/exercise -enjoy (and don't shy away from) physical affection (i.e. belly rubs, head scratches, fully body hugs) - sleep well by themselves without whining or barking -are not bothered by general kid energy (yelling, running, loud noises) -are not highly anxious or territorial or aggressive toward kids of any age in any way -do not chew on strewn toys, furniture, stuffed animals, etc. All feeding and any medication instructions will be strictly followed. I will provide regular updates and photos of your pet's stay with us so that you can continue to feel connected even while away.

Information Amy & Caleb T. would like to know about your pet
If you are a potential new client, I require a meet & greet with your dog(s) at my home prior to accepting any dog sitting requests. Upon submitting a request, I will contact you to set up a meeting. The safety of my children is my top priority. If your dog shows any signs of aggression or territorial tendencies, we will be unable to host your pet. My children need to feel safe in their own home, and your pet also deserves to feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
Your doggie's day will include plenty of indoor and outdoor play, including (but not limited to) fetch, tug-of-war, zooming, and frisbee. The water bowl will never run dry, and ample opportunities for potty breaks and rest will be given. Interspersed in all the fun will be tons of hugs, kisses, and belly rubs.

Reviews

Duke and Daisy love staying with Amy and Caleb and their boys. They always send pictures and have been able to accommodate medicine as needed. We appreciate that they make our dogs part of their family while we are away.

Amy was excellent! Very grateful that she could accommodate my request with late notice. My pup had a wonderful experience with her!

Amy and Caleb were the perfect hosts for our Australian Shepherd. Our pup craves human attention and their four boys played with her until her heart was content and her legs tired. Amy shared updates and photos throughout the stay and was always responsive when I had a question. Great experience.

Amy & Caleb offer an ideal situation for you dogs to stay with a family and get lots of love and attention! Super easy drop off and pick up and great communication!
