I provide a calm, structured home environment and only take one dog at a time to ensure focused, attentive care. I’ve fostered multiple dogs through NYC rescues (Muddy Paws and See Spot Rescued), so I’m experienced with different temperaments and routines. Through fostering, I’ve become very observant and responsive to what each dog needs to feel comfortable. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach and enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality.

Cassandra is one of a kind! You can tell she truly loves the dogs under her care, but more importantly she takes that responsibility very seriously. She has years of experience caring for animals, and she's easy to get ahold of if you need to. You and your dog will both be very happy you chose her.
I have known Cassandra for over 8 years and she has helped me take care of my past pets, such as dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. All of my pets loved her, so I knew that they were well taken care of while I was away. She is very thorough with handling animals, like asking me details on how they like to be held, what food combinations to give them, and other ways that she can provide care that is up and beyond the normal standards. I would 100% trust her to take care of any animal, as I believe that she has a true love and compassion for both small and large animal companions!
Cassandra is truly a dog whisperer! My pup Bentley absolutely adores her — he gets excited the moment he sees her or even hears her name. She has a calm, loving energy that dogs naturally gravitate toward, and Bentley instantly trusted her. Whether it’s for a walk, playtime, or just some extra attention while I’m away, I always feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her care. Cassandra is reliable, communicative, and genuinely passionate about animals. She goes above and beyond to make sure Bentley is happy, safe, and loved. I’ve noticed how much more relaxed and well-behaved he is after spending time with her. It’s clear she treats every dog like her own. I can’t recommend Cassandra enough — she’s a gem, and Bentley is lucky to have her!

Schedule
I work remotely and structure my day around consistent care, including regular walks, feeding times and check-ins. Dogs are incorporated into a steady routine with supervision and minimal disruption.

A typical day
Mornings start with a walk and feeding, followed by a mix of rest and light activity. Midday includes another walk or potty break, with downtime in a calm environment. Evenings includes a walk, feeding and wind-down time.
