Dog mom with fully fenced backyard
I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 4 years old and have owned my own dog since 2020. I have most experience with small to medium dogs. Easy grooming like nail clippings, baths, and anal expressions are all things I am comfortable with as well as medication administration. I recently moved into my own house and have a fully fenced backyard for my dog and any other dogs who choose to come stay with us. The backyard is huge with trees and squirrels who call it home.

Annie took wonderful care of Bucky. Since Bucky was only recently adopted, he was a little insecure and defensive during Annie’s first visit. However, he quickly became much more comfortable with her by the second visit, which really showed how patient and gentle she was with him. One thing that especially impressed me was that Bucky had never shown any interest in toys while he was at the shelter, but by the end of Annie’s visit, she had him happily playing with one. It was heartwarming to see him relax, build confidence, and start showing his playful side. I really appreciate Annie’s kindness, patience, and understanding with a newly adopted dog, and I would definitely trust her to care for Bucky again.
Annie was so helpful for drop in visits for our dog last minute. We will definitely be looking to book her again in the future!
Annie was awesome! She took great care of my dog, Wally! I could tell he had the best time! I loved all of the pictures and updates while I was gone, it kept me at ease! Will definitely use Annie again 😊

Schedule
I am a teacher which means that during the daytime, my check-in options are limited but believe me when I get home I try to supply as much love and stimulation as possible. I am off for breaks occasionally throughout the year for boarding requests that require more care. I take them for walks, throw the ball around in the backyard, and all the snuggles.

I care for pets in my home the same way I take care of my own pet. I make sure they are fed, cared for, and exercised according to their energy levels. I have several baby gates and am able to separate dogs for feeding and when I am away from the house.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take dogs for long walks, including hikes through the state parks like Ft Ben and Eagle Creek. To stimulate dogs during the workday, I love leaving toys and puzzles for them to enjoy and entertain throughout the day. I have loved bringing boarders with me on weekend excursions along the monon to Half Liter and other restaurants in Broad Ripple.
