About: I am a dog lover! Free most weekdays and weekends. I’ll love your dog almost as much as you do while in my care. Please be honest with me about your pets needs so I can serve them best. Any size dog is no problem. I had Rhodesian Ridgebacks (150 and 130 pounds) - so big dogs are not a problem. I have attended dog training classes and believe that verbal commands are always to be used. Never anything more harsh than that. I work from home most week days, and I am off on weekends. I have kept my radius of availability small so that I can spend a lot of time with your pet - and in my own neighborhood. I had 2 Ridgebacks that were very large. I am comfortable with giant breed dogs to puppies. I am well versed in giving oral medicines as well, so if needed - it won't be a problem.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have a dog of my own, so I understand the patience, attention, and care pets need every day. I’ve also helped friends and family care for their dogs, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. What makes me different is that I truly treat every dog like family and want them to feel safe, loved, and cared for, not just watched. Since I am not in school right now, I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends! About: I have grown up around animals and have always adored how wonderful companions they are. I grew up taking care of family members dogs when they went on vacations, which gave me early experience with feeding, walking, and general care. I also have some experience with cats from having one when I was younger and helping care for a few friends and family members cats over the years. I am comfortable helping with basic cat care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and spending time with them. I have my own dog, Hadley, an 8 year old golden retriever. She is very spunky, sometimes a troublemaker, but very sweet. She loves walks and I have walked her for years and really enjoy doing so. Within the past year, I started working at a shelter where I take care of dogs, including some with aggression and fear issues due to neglect and other reasons. Pet care fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule is very flexible and open during the week. About: Hello! My name is Gabrielle, I’m 27 years old and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve had animals my whole life. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 8 years old which was when I got my first puppy! I’ve also had plenty of cats over the years and even rats and ferrets. I am very reliable and I will give your animals lots of attention and affection. I love taking walks and your dogs will love taking them with me! I’m currently a stay at home mom and we don’t do a whole lot! I would love to change that by walking, playing and caring for dogs/cats, etc. It would be great for my son to be involved too! About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.

About: I don’t remember a time in my life that I wasn’t caring for pets! I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I have also cared for dogs, cats, and even exotic pets for family and friends away on long trips since I was around 10 years old. I love all animals (even bugs🩷) and I can guarantee I’ll care for your pet like my own! I am a college student home for the summer, so my calendar is free! I keep my schedule updated and I accept bookings almost anytime. I’m flexible! Whatever your pet is used to, I can match. In my own home, I ensure the kitty has food, water, and clean litter box available at all times. We play for 15 minutes a day at minimum, but he’s a very hyper cat so he runs around on his own half the time. For my dogs, I let them outside whenever they ask to be let outside haha. If your dog has a schedule, I’ll follow it. I feed them twice a day and ensure they have water at all times. I play with one of my dogs for about 30 minutes each day, the other one doesn’t like to play (She’s a bit strange…). Whatever your pet needs, I can do! I will do my best to keep their routine as unchanged as possible while you’re away.

About: Hey everyone! My name is Audrey and I'm currently attending grad school for physical therapy. Over the years, I have done plenty of pet sitting gigs for friends but just recently downloaded Rover! Thought this would be a good way to make some cash on the side while I'm on that grad school grind since I love pets! I'm a born and raised Minnesotan so I'm not afraid to walk your pup outside in the freezing cold months of the year! Did dog agility and obedience competitions for years growing up as well! Grew up with my own cats and dogs and really don't have a favorite breed. Currently in between jobs so have no restricting schedule besides the days I've marked as unavailable. Would take your dog for daily walks and have plenty of time to play! Our home has a spacious 2 acre backyard and a large house to reside in. I am happy to house sit, take your dogs on walks, or do drop ins.

About: I have been a Rover pet sitter since 2023. I will care for cats, small to medium dogs, and small animals. Cats are my speciality. I am also available for dog-walking and dog mid-day let-out. As for small animals, I have experience with guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish. If I haven't had experience with a type of small animal before, please give me very specific instructions and I will thoroughly research the animal and its care before the booking. In my lifetime, I have lived with five cats and four dogs, was the primary caregiver for two cats and my many fish, and helped to care for the other animals throughout their lifespans. Growing up, I attended three summers of horse camp at Camp Kici Yapi and also had one year of English riding lessons. As a young adult, I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. I have experience with administering tablet, liquid, topical, and eye drop medications, and have been vet-trained to give injected medication such as insulin. I also have experience with specialized diets and with various special needs, and have cared for animals while they were having medical issues. If your pet has some degree of aggression issues, please describe it in your message so I can better determine if I am qualified to care for your pet. Please note that Rover may tell you that I am not available on dates when I actually am if another client is pending a Meet and Greet for a booking with any of the same dates, even if there are no overlapping time slots. Pet sitting is now my full-time job. I have an open schedule and am available from 8am-9pm every day of the week. I am studying to become a translator and I have Japanese lessons three days a week in the evening, but the system has me book time slots every week that can vary, and usually I have enough notice from a client to book the lessons around my pet sitting schedule. However, if I am given shorter notice, I may not be able to move around the lesson times and may have to fulfill an evening visit at an altered time on a particular day. When I arrive for drop-in visits, I hold my supply bag in front of me as I enter the door to prevent cats from escaping. For evening visits, I may also leave a light on at the entrance as another measure against an escape. I store all keys in a designated bag and label them when necessary; I avoid opening the key bag inside the car, where keys could fall into difficult-to-reach places in the car. I maintain the cleanliness of the food and water dishes and litter box each day and clean up any accidents, vomit, or hairballs that I find. If I need to administer oral or topical medication to a shy cat, I will need you to close the doors to certain rooms in the house where the cat can get into more difficult hiding places, and may even need to keep the cat isolated to one room. I will handle old, frail animals more delicately, particularly if I need to grab them for a medication.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Ive worked in care services such as nursing homes and have plenty of experience with babysitting and being responsible! I’m working part time and a college student. My schedule is free for the most part, would be able to be flexible if needed! I will not be able to have pets in my home, but in others I would be very respectful of the house and the animals i’m sitting for.

About: My pet skills lie more in cats, than dogs. But, I have lived with many doggos over the years and feel very capable being able to feed, play, and walk them. Plus, I love lounging around with a goofball pup. Special skills include: not being swayed at all by a beggar at the dinner table. Currently, I work freelance, so my schedule is my own. I'm able to work remotely, so hanging out with a fur baby for periods of time in the day is not a problem at all. I also recently moved to this area of Seattle so I don't yet have any standing obligations or social engagements. When I'm with your pet, they are the focus. It's hard enough to be without their parent and not understand why AND have a stranger in their home preparing their food and stealing their poops. I have a calm and caring demeanor that I hope brings peace to each animal during this stressful time. When I'm there, I give them as much attention as I can, so they can feel truly cared for and safe.
