About: I’ve cared for my own pets, of course…BUT, I'm also the trusted person friends and neighbors turn to when they need help with watching their dogs. I'm a reliable, trustworthy, and responsible person who genuinely loves dogs. I've done a lot of training with my own dogs and have developed a strong understanding of their behaviors and communication. I have a flexible schedule so I can easily set up time to come to your home to do a let out, have play time, or walk your dog. When your pup is in my care they will receive plenty of love and affection, outside time, and exercise in a safe and comfortable environment. I will also send pictures and updates during their walk, let out, or stay with me. My schedule is flexible and I am able to be available for daytime or evening walks and let outs. I can usually work around your schedule or needs. I have a large fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood. I have a friendly 6-year-old Labrador retriever who can keep your pup company too.

About: I have grown up around animals and have always adored how wonderful companions they are. I grew up taking care of family members dogs when they went on vacations, which gave me early experience with feeding, walking, and general care. I also have some experience with cats from having one when I was younger and helping care for a few friends and family members cats over the years. I am comfortable helping with basic cat care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and spending time with them. I have my own dog, Hadley, an 8 year old golden retriever. She is very spunky, sometimes a troublemaker, but very sweet. She loves walks and I have walked her for years and really enjoy doing so. Caring for her has helped me build strong experience with daily routines and understanding a dog’s needs. Within the past year, I started working at a shelter where I take care of dogs, including some with aggression and fear issues due to neglect and other reasons. I feed them, walk them, clean up after them, play with them, and give them love and attention while they wait to be adopted. Pet care fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule is very flexible and open during the week. About: I am a dog lover! Free most weekdays and weekends. I’ll love your dog almost as much as you do while in my care. Please be honest with me about your pets needs so I can serve them best. Any size dog is no problem. I had Rhodesian Ridgebacks (150 and 130 pounds) - so big dogs are not a problem. I have attended dog training classes and believe that verbal commands are always to be used. Never anything more harsh than that. I work from home most week days, and I am off on weekends. I have kept my radius of availability small so that I can spend a lot of time with your pet - and in my own neighborhood. I had 2 Ridgebacks that were very large. I am comfortable with giant breed dogs to puppies. I am well versed in giving oral medicines as well, so if needed - it won't be a problem.

About: Hello! My name is Gabrielle, I’m 27 years old and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve had animals my whole life. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 8 years old which was when I got my first puppy! I’ve also had plenty of cats over the years and even rats and ferrets. I am very reliable and I will give your animals lots of attention and affection. I love taking walks and your dogs will love taking them with me! I’m currently a stay at home mom and we don’t do a whole lot! I would love to change that by walking, playing and caring for dogs/cats, etc. It would be great for my son to be involved too! About: My pet skills lie more in cats, than dogs. But, I have lived with many doggos over the years and feel very capable being able to feed, play, and walk them. Plus, I love lounging around with a goofball pup. Special skills include: not being swayed at all by a beggar at the dinner table. Currently, I work freelance, so my schedule is my own. I'm able to work remotely, so hanging out with a fur baby for periods of time in the day is not a problem at all. I also recently moved to this area of Seattle so I don't yet have any standing obligations or social engagements. When I'm with your pet, they are the focus. It's hard enough to be without their parent and not understand why AND have a stranger in their home preparing their food and stealing their poops. I have a calm and caring demeanor that I hope brings peace to each animal during this stressful time. When I'm there, I give them as much attention as I can, so they can feel truly cared for and safe.

About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Ive worked in care services such as nursing homes and have plenty of experience with babysitting and being responsible! I’m working part time and a college student. My schedule is free for the most part, would be able to be flexible if needed! I will not be able to have pets in my home, but in others I would be very respectful of the house and the animals i’m sitting for.

About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)

About: I’ve been a pet owner the vast majority of my adult life, not to mention entire childhood. I’ve cared for dogs from the puppy stage to geriatric and believe all dogs should be treated with love and compassion. I’m an expert dog snuggler, I enjoy long walks with my four-legged friends and there’s a fairly good chance your dog may be slightly spoiled while in my care. Whether you’re looking for a one-time sitter or long-term dog aunt vibes, I’m your girl! I have two children 50% of the time who have lived with dogs their entire lives. They will be respectful of your pet’s space and boundaries, they are able to recognize a dog’s body language and they never tire of playing with furry friends! Your dog will get lots of attention and love, guaranteed. ***Meet & Greet required prior to boarding*** When boarding, please bring: • Dog food • Dog’s blanket or bed • Dog’s crate if that’s where they feel most comfortable. I do have extra crates in my home, however, so this is not a requirement. I work from home (mostly) and only have my human children 50% of the time, including every other weekend. This leaves me with a lot of availability to tend to your doggo’s needs! I live in a townhome with great walking paths nearby. I have one dog of my own, a beautiful mixed breed (Luna) who is lovable, friendly and lives for puppy play dates! Our yard is not fenced in but we do have yard stakes and leashes available - I generally take our dog for a short walk every couple hours for a potty break, along with two longer walks a day. I would absolutely never leave your dog unattended. Dogs are ONLY tied up to a long leash outside if and when I am present, and usually only for sunbathing purposes.

About: I have been a Rover pet sitter since 2023. I will care for cats, small to medium dogs, and small animals. Cats are my speciality. I am also available for dog-walking and dog mid-day let-out. As for small animals, I have experience with guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish. If I haven't had experience with a type of small animal before, please give me very specific instructions and I will thoroughly research the animal and its care before the booking. In my lifetime, I have lived with five cats and four dogs, was the primary caregiver for two cats and my many fish, and helped to care for the other animals throughout their lifespans. Growing up, I attended three summers of horse camp at Camp Kici Yapi and also had one year of English riding lessons. As a young adult, I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. I have experience with administering tablet, liquid, topical, and eye drop medications, and have been vet-trained to give injected medication such as insulin. I also have experience with specialized diets and with various special needs, and have cared for animals while they were having medical issues. If your pet has some degree of aggression issues, please describe it in your message so I can better determine if I am qualified to care for your pet. Please note that Rover may tell you that I am not available on dates when I actually am if another client is pending a Meet and Greet for a booking with any of the same dates, even if there are no overlapping time slots. Pet sitting is now my full-time job. I have an open schedule and am available from 8am-9pm every day of the week. I am studying to become a translator and I have Japanese lessons three days a week in the evening, but the system has me book time slots every week that can vary, and usually I have enough notice from a client to book the lessons around my pet sitting schedule. However, if I am given shorter notice, I may not be able to move around the lesson times and may have to fulfill an evening visit at an altered time on a particular day. When I arrive for drop-in visits, I hold my supply bag in front of me as I enter the door to prevent cats from escaping. For evening visits, I may also leave a light on at the entrance as another measure against an escape. I store all keys in a designated bag and label them when necessary; I avoid opening the key bag inside the car, where keys could fall into difficult-to-reach places in the car. I maintain the cleanliness of the food and water dishes and litter box each day and clean up any accidents, vomit, or hairballs that I find. If I need to administer oral or topical medication to a shy cat, I will need you to close the doors to certain rooms in the house where the cat can get into more difficult hiding places, and may even need to keep the cat isolated to one room. I will handle old, frail animals more delicately, particularly if I need to grab them for a medication.
