About: I have grown up around animals and have always adored how wonderful companions they are. I grew up taking care of family members dogs when they went on vacations, which gave me early experience with feeding, walking, and general care. I also have some experience with cats from having one when I was younger and helping care for a few friends and family members cats over the years. I am comfortable helping with basic cat care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and spending time with them. I have my own dog, Hadley, an 8 year old golden retriever. She is very spunky, sometimes a troublemaker, but very sweet. She loves walks and I have walked her for years and really enjoy doing so. Caring for her has helped me build strong experience with daily routines and understanding a dog’s needs. Within the past year, I started working at a shelter where I take care of dogs, including some with aggression and fear issues due to neglect and other reasons. I feed them, walk them, clean up after them, play with them, and give them love and attention while they wait to be adopted. That experience has taught me how to be around different types of dogs, adapt to their needs, and make sure our furry friends are always loved and cared for. I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and patient when caring for animals. I always treat pets as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I look forward to the opportunity to help take care of your pets and give them the attention and care they deserve. Pet care fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule is very flexible and open during the week. I am available throughout weekdays, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. On weekends, my availability is more occasional, but I am still open to working them depending on the need and advance notice. I am reliable with time management and make sure I plan ahead so I can consistently show up on time and give each pet the attention they need. Overall, having a flexible schedule allows me to be dependable and available for pet care while still maintaining balance with my other commitments. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and normal routine. I make sure to follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and any specific care needs for each pet. For home sitting, I focus on keeping pets calm and comfortable in their own environment, making sure they get consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. For drop-in visits, I make sure all essential needs are met, including feeding, bathroom breaks, cleaning up if needed, and spending time with the pet so they feel cared for and not alone. For dog walking, I make sure walks are safe, controlled, and appropriate for each dog’s energy level and behavior. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort level, especially with animals that may be shy, anxious, or require extra patience. I have experience working with different types of dogs from my time at a shelter, which has helped me stay calm, observant, and adaptable. In addition, I respect the client’s home by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. My goal is always to provide reliable care so pets feel safe and owners feel confident and at ease.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have a dog of my own, so I understand the patience, attention, and care pets need every day. I’ve also helped friends and family care for their dogs, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. What makes me different is that I truly treat every dog like family and want them to feel safe, loved, and cared for, not just watched. Since I am not in school right now, I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends! I’d love to help care for your pets and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I provide care for pets in my client’s home so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and keep their normal routine. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and bathroom breaks, and I always try to make them feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. About: Hello! My name is Gabrielle, I’m 27 years old and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve had animals my whole life. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 8 years old which was when I got my first puppy! I’ve also had plenty of cats over the years and even rats and ferrets. I am very reliable and I will give your animals lots of attention and affection. I love taking walks and your dogs will love taking them with me! I’m currently a stay at home mom and we don’t do a whole lot! I would love to change that by walking, playing and caring for dogs/cats, etc. It would be great for my son to be involved too! About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.

About: I’ve cared for my own pets, of course…BUT, I'm also the trusted person friends and neighbors turn to when they need help with watching their dogs. I'm a reliable, trustworthy, and responsible person who genuinely loves dogs. I've done a lot of training with my own dogs and have developed a strong understanding of their behaviors and communication. I have a flexible schedule so I can easily set up time to come to your home to do a let out, have play time, or walk your dog. When your pup is in my care they will receive plenty of love and affection, outside time, and exercise in a safe and comfortable environment. I will also send pictures and updates during their walk, let out, or stay with me. My schedule is flexible and I am able to be available for daytime or evening walks and let outs. I can usually work around your schedule or needs. I have a large fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood. I have a friendly 6-year-old Labrador retriever who can keep your pup company too.

About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)

About: Though I’m new to Rover, I've watched animals for friends, family, and employers for the past 10 years and would love to chat with you to see if I can help you with yours. As a former receptionist at an emergency vet clinic and with extensive experience with my own fur babies, I'm very aware of the health risks to both cats and dogs and have training in recognizing signs of distress. I will work with you to establish an emergency plan beforehand if you are going on extended trips. I also have experience with several vets in the area and even bringing animals to the animal chiropractor. I know that every animal's personality is unique, and routines are important for managing stress. My goal is to be that trustworthy, consistent, and dependable addition to your animal's care team. We always had multiple cats and dogs at one time in my family home growing up. They were more than my animals; they were my brothers and sisters and beloved friends. I've loved and cared for 3 of my cats and 2 of my dogs into their senior years and through medical complications. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin to cats, animals with arthritis, and care after major procedures. I currently have open availability during weekdays M-F. I'm here to provide weekday support via check-ins and walks for busy families, as well as support with home visits if you are on vacation. I do work weekends, so my availability over weekends is limited. I respect all house rules and work with you to get every detail of care, big or small. You set how many updates you’d like to receive when away, but it’s standard for me to write a document of all activity and behavior after each of my visits for you and your vet to reference at any time. I’m happy to do initial home visits to make sure care works for us both.
