“Nicole and her family were great with our dog Marty. We met once before leaving him for 4 days and immediately he seemed at ease, and I should note our dog Marty is pretty nervous around new people and new dogs. Nicole sent regular updates and each one showed a very happy pooch. He seemed very at ease with the family dog Dakota and bonded with their son. We will definitely ask Nicole and her family to dog-sit again and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Judy was fantastic, very responsive and wonderful with our Violet. Would give her more stars if we could and will def call on her again for future travel.”

“First time boarding with Randi and it was an incredibly smooth experience. Randi is extremely flexible and was a life saver for when we were away on a multi city driving trip. We were watching the weather in case we needed to abandon our plans and come back home mid trip. Randi was extremely flexible and accommodating and I am so grateful for that. Our dog is a picky eater and is also on some tricky meds…and Randi kept in touch with regular updates. She persevered with attempts to get her to eat both food and meds, until our dog did finally start to eat! Our dog came home happy and healthy! We will definitely board with Randi again!”

“Sam took care of my Wheaten, Darwin, for 6 days. He was very flexible when it turned out that Darwin was sick the day we were supposed to leave. Instead of taking Darwin to his place, he came to my house multiple times a day for 2 days and monitored Darwin's eating and pooping. When Darwin was better Sam took him home with him. Sam reported back to me frequently so I would be current on Darwin's status. Throughout the whole stay Sam sent pictures and kept me posted on what he and Darwin were doing. Sam is very easy to work with and is calm and confident. I recommend him to anyone!”

“Laura was awesome! She clearly loves dogs and took great care of our dog! From the moment we met her for a pre-stay visit, we knew that she was very mature, loving and responsible. While we were away, she was responsive and kept us updated the whole time. We were gone over Thanksgiving, and she asked if she could include our dog in her families plans and we were thrilled that Huckie had such a warm welcome! We would definitely use Laura again!”

“Jocelyn sent me videos everyday and helped my dog enjoy her first stay by setting up doggy introductions during playtime. It was very easy to make arrangements with Jocelyn and she handled my dog’s medication needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of my previous dog (Maltese) for 12years and now I have 5 year old golden doodle boy. I’m accountant and working remotely most of the time! Im currently working remotely and have extra time. I walk my dog every 2-3 hours and play in the backyard everyday. He loves to play with other dogs I have fenced yard where my dog loves to play fetch. I usually let my dog out around 8am to play until 9am. All the dogs are welcome to join to play together!
About: I’m Simone and I’ve been taking care for dogs for over 14 years. What started as helping out friends and family quickly turned into something much bigger. I’ve now become the go-to sitter for a wide circle of people, including their friends and referrals. I love animals and treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy who needs playtime and exercise or a senior dog who just wants companionship, I tailor my care to meet each pet’s unique personality and needs. I understand how important consistency and presence are for animals when their owners are away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. We have a 3 year old Mini-Goldendoodle. My husband and I both work from home and take our dog out for two long walks as well as one short walk and as many potty breaks as needed. We live on a quiet street with many other friendly dogs. We have a 3 year old Mini-Goldendoodle who loves playing with other dogs or just having company.
“Really grateful to have found them. They were able to take care of my pup last minute and Sophie had an amazing time. I will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello! I’m Taylor, an event planner turned full‑time pet whisperer with a deep love for animals big and small. I grew up around animals and have looked after family pets as well as clients’ pets on both sides of the Atlantic, so I understand how crucial it is to trust the person caring for your home and companions. When I house‑sit, I treat your space with respect and your pets like family. I’m meticulous about following feeding schedules, administering medications if needed, and keeping things tidy. If your cat likes sunbeams at 4 PM or your dog expects a 7 AM romp around the block, I’ll keep them on track. I’m also a hospitality professional by training, so communication and reliability are second nature. I’ll send you regular updates and photos, and I’m always reachable. My sense of humor helps keep pets relaxed — I’ve been known to read pups poetry and tell cats jokes (their reviews are purr‑fect). If you’re looking for a sitter who is mature, organized, and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, I’d love to chat! Because I’m currently focusing full‑time on pet sitting, your pets are my routine. I divide my days into morning, midday and evening visits and build my calendar around each animal’s needs. I’ll check your pet’s food schedule, exercise preferences (even that daily five‑minute belly‑rub) and any meds, then stick to those times religiously—pets thrive on predictable routines, and being punctual gives them comfort. In practice, that means I’ll be there when they expect breakfast, playtime and dinner, with plenty of flexibility for overnight stays or drop‑ins. Since I’m not juggling another job, I can keep my caseload small and give each pet the focused attention they deserve. I treat every home as a sacred space and every pet as family. I follow your instructions to the letter: feeding schedules, medications and any special quirks are logged and checked off. I also believe in open communication; I’ll send regular updates with photos and notes so you always know how things are going. For safety, I ask for emergency contacts, keep my phone charged and carry a small pet‑sitting kit (extra leash, first‑aid supplies, bottled water). I make sure gates and doors are secure before letting pets outside and follow any “home alone” instructions like gating or crating. In short: I respect your home, stick to your routines, prepare for the unexpected and treat your pets with the same care and humour I give my own.
“Grace snd Luis are amazing! So caring, kind and wonderful with animals. Our dog Zammy had the best time and they were so welcoming he almost didn’t want to leave! Will definitely go back to them and would highly recommend them :)”

“Diane is an exceptionally caring and thoughtful sitter. She took such great care of Stella during the time we were away. From the moment we dropped her off Diane made sure Stella was settled into her place nicely, and was in constant communication sending us photos and updates. I could not recommended her enough! 10/10”

“Rafa had a great stay with Stephanie! We loved getting lots of pics & updates, and it was clear she had a great time when we picked her up. She’s already excited to return for a longer stay in a few weeks! Thank you Stephanie 😊”

“Wonderful with our little old girl . Took great care of her and sent adorable pics letting us know how she was doing during her stay. Responds quickly to texts which is a plus ! Highly recommend and will definitely use again for our puppers !”

“Brittany was wonderful with my dog Stark. She took time to get to know him before he spent the week with her, introducing him to her dog, which was especially important as my dog can take a little while to warm up to people and pets. He went immediately to her! She listened to what I said about my dog's fears, as he is a rescue and he became part of the pack of dogs she was watching because of how great she was with him. He had a wonderful week and I loved getting picture and video updates.”

“Jennifer took great care of Watson and he seemed to really enjoy playing with her dog as well. Jennifer's apartment is clean and well-kept and we felt very comfortable leaving our furry guy there for the weekend.”
“Yenis was great! She was super communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos! Looked like our dog Tex had a great time and felt super comfortable! Would definitely book again 😊”

Purchase pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alexandra took great care of our dog Phoebe while we were away and sent lots of photos. She welcomed Phoebe into her home and treated her like her own. When our flight home was delayed, even though Alexandra was unable to extend the dog-sitting by a day (because she was going away herself), she was willing to drive Phoebe to our neighbor’s house before she left so Phoebe wasn’t left without a place to go.

Lydia did a great job in looking after our pet dog Bo for a week when we were away. She sent me constant updates without me ever having to ask for it. And, the one thing that stood out was that the entire time we felt that Lydia was genuinely fond of our puppy & treated him like family - that meant a lot to us. Would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Laura! Our dachshund Tony was cared for with so much love – it really felt like the whole family opened their hearts to her. She quickly felt at home and also bonded wonderfully with the family’s dog, which made her stay even more enjoyable. Communication and photo updates were excellent, giving us peace of mind while we were away. Tony seemed very happy and came back relaxed. We couldn’t have asked for better care and would definitely recommend Laura!
