She clearly developed a caring and affectionate relationship with our dog and she was well cared for during our vacation. She also kept us appraised of their activities with plenty of photos, which clearly showed that Tilly was well cared for and having fun. “Spencer did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs and cat for 4 days while my family and I were out of town. I could tell that he took the time to read through our detailed instructions and he sent lots of pictures and video to reassure us that they were well taken care of while we were away. Also, one of our dogs is very strong and pulls a lot during walks. Spencer is definitely strong enough and experienced enough to walk him which is one of the reasons we hired him. He is also a very good house guest. If it weren't for the pictures and videos he sent, I wouldn't have even known he was there. Thank you Spencer. “Abby saved Arty’s life while she was sitting. He became very seriously ill the second day I was gone. I was on a boat in glacier bay Alaska and could not be reached for 2 days. I had not left a letter authorizing payment to his vets (my bad) and when she called, they refused. So she had the good sense to show up at their door with him in their arms after calling everyone who I listed as support and trying on her own to revive him. (He is diabetic). He had been in ICU for 2 days by the time I got all her messages. The waters parted and I was able to get home the same day. In the meantime, she visited him in ICU and gave him love and encouragement. It turned out that he had a ruptured gall bladder and they removed it along with cleaning out all the granular black debris from his abdominal cavity. He has almost recovered completely now, only one week later. I know he would not be alive if it wasn’t for Abby. Grateful is an understatement! Abby is all that a pet owner could want to look after their beloved fur baby.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them! I started at 7 years old with bunnies, and since then I’ve had experience with all kinds of animals—dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, strays, and even some farm animals. So I’m really comfortable with different personalities and care needs. I’ve done a bit of pet sitting, from quick check-ins to stays that last a few weeks, and I quickly adapt to your pet’s normal routine so they always feel safe and relaxed. I’m great with senior pets too and understand they might need a little extra care, slower walks, or more attention. (As I have my own senior pup!) I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well taken care of. Nothing feels better than bringing an animal immense happiness and relaxation! I am currently working part-time, usually in the early mornings, so I am pretty available in the afternoon every weekday! I have a lifelong experience with dogs; grew up with a German Sheppard mix and have been doing pet care exchanges with friends for the past 5 yrs. While boarding dogs at my house I always provided frequent updates to the owners. For boarding: my dog does best with dogs same size or smaller. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard, within a walking distance to the beach and Frederick St. dog park. I do cook for my dog and can do same for yours (or I adjust to your preferences). I’m dedicated to pet’s wellbeing and will ensure that your dog is safe, gets enough exercise and rest. My 16 yo son also loves playing with dogs. We all are looking forward to host your dog in our house (and/or go for walks together). I work from home part-time and I'm available for boarding your dog at my house (also over the Holidays) or for taking your dog for walks (together with mine). I have plenty of space in my house, fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your pooch company. For safety I do not accept very large or uncontrollable dogs.

About: I've dog sat many of my neighbors dogs along with my own 2 dogs. I am a reliable and loving dog parent. I'm understanding and care for dogs. I've had senior dogs and raised my own dogs since they were puppies. I work an 8-4 job, so I understand how it can be difficult to fit in a walk or play time with your fur baby. With just 1 hour of a walk or even 30 minutes can make your pup pretty happy. Safety and well being of pets is very important. I will care for your dog as if they were my very own dog. “I loved Andrea taking care of my cat Billy and the odd menagerie of feral cats that live at my home. She did an outstanding job. She follow the instructions carefully and was able to follow them and feed all the cats and take good care of Billy and the others. She stayed and played with Billy, which he loved. She maintained the litter robot, which is sometimes a challenge. She kept everything clean and took care of them the day I came home so I didn’t have to worry about them. I highly recommend Andrea, she is very conscientious and pays attention to detail and send pics and is really aware of how special our babies are to us and she is very good with cats. About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.
