“This was my first experience with Rover. Ac was wonderful and a very proactive communicator. She took great care of my kitty. I’m thankful to have found her!”
2. Virginia S.
“Virginia cared for my calico cat, Samantha, for years when I used to make an annual week-long trek to Tahoe to visit old friends. Samantha was sensitive to noise and to change of any kind, so it was important to have her paired with someone who is intuitive to animals, attentive, and kind. Virginia was all of these and more. I never worried about Samantha when I was on my trips because I knew Virginia would take great care of her. Samantha was an indoor cat so it was critical that I had someone who paid attention to that fact. Virginia also took great care of our home, which also gave me peace of mind while I was away. Virginia communicated with me regularly, including multiple daily updates when she took care of her on one occasion after Samantha became ill from kidney disease. I definitely recommend Virginia for your animal family members.”

About: My I have been a cat and a dog owner before. It's been about three years since I've owned a pet for personal reasons. I'm very patient and kind, I would do my very best in caring for any pet I am to watch over no matter what. I live with my grandmother who has a dog herself, so when she's at work or goes out of town I watch over her dog for her. At the moment I have open availability. I'm looking into going to school for the fall semester. I'm in the process of figuring out what I want my career to be. Getting into dog sitting is going to help me determine if I want to work more with animals and make it apart of my career.

16. Melina P.
About: My experience with animals is informed and enriched with the pets I helped raise as a child and the furry kiddo I'm raising now. As soon as I was basically old enough and able to, being the littlest in my family, caring for the animals and their basic needs was my main responsibility. I grew up with cats and dogs my entire life since I was a baby, and helped raise my cats from kittenhood to their old age, along with my three dogs, all of which are now passed away from old age. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, different breeds from chihuahuas to terriers to shepherds to pit bulls, and I also have experience with old/sick animals. I am currently raising my seven-year-old pitty mix and have had her since she was less than a year old. I am patient, kind, reliable, and experienced around animals and I am confident that your pet baby will be in good hands! I am currently living in Salinas and am available almost anytime, as I have recently quit my full time job. I have my own means of transportation and can accommodate most schedules. As of now, I am unable to board any additional animals as I do not have sufficient space for one more animal. However, having an active dog of my own, I am familiar with many of the cool and fun dog friendly spots in the area!

18. Veronica A.
About: I'm Veronica, and I'm excited about the prospect of meeting new dogs and their owners. Having grown up surrounded by a variety of animals, I bring a lifelong love for pets. Reliability is a strong suit of mine, and I'm eager to connect with new fur friends. Staying active is a key part of my daily routine, whether it's through hiking, training my own dogs, or interacting with pets of all sizes. I recently relocated back to Monterey County after spending five years in the Bay Area. I'll lead your dog on invigorating walks, turning exercise into a fun experience rather than a chore. If they're up for it, we might even explore hikes spanning 4-6 miles—I'm a big fan of AllTrails. Treating others' dogs with the same respect I have for my own is a priority for me. I have experience with puppies (8 weeks and older) as well as senior (geriatric) pets. I'm excited about the opportunity to meet you and your pets, showering them with love and attention. Additionally, capturing some wonderful photos of them is something I'm eagerly anticipating for your enjoyment! Currently, my schedule is open. I've been actively seeking full-time positions in the area since returning from San Francisco, but haven't had much success so far. I prefer scheduling potty breaks every 3-4 hours, maintaining your pet's routine while they're under my care. If necessary, I am comfortable crating them. In public spaces, I steer clear of high foot traffic areas and consistently stay alert to my surroundings for the safety of both myself and the dogs.
19. Carina S.
“Carina is a mom of 2 black labs she self trained them and has lots of experience in caring for dogs. She has dog sat for many friends and family members. Ive had the privilege to have had her as a sitter for my 2 year old pit-bull terrier mix for a couple days. He was well taken care of, fed, walked, and loved on. My pup loves Carina so much! All dogs she’s cared for have varied from breed, age, gender, size, and behavior; she’s a kind and patient person who is loved and loves all animals.”
20. Parisa A.
“Parisa has been an absolute blessing! Pashmak (my dog) loved her and does a happy dance upon her arrival. She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and was updating me and sending me pics when I was out of town which is always comforting Thanks her for her great service”
