About: I’ve loved caring for pets for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I was the primary caregiver for a family friend’s dog for over a year during COVID and have also looked after my uncle’s dog during multi-week stays. I make sure every dog gets plenty of walks, park time, exercise, and socialization, along with feeding, pee pad changes, and a clean, happy home. I’ve also cared for about five cats over the years and currently have a cat of my own. I know how to keep cats happy, healthy, and comfortable with feeding, litter box care, and plenty of gentle attention. I love spending time with animals, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently attending hartnell college as a full time student and athlete. As every semester changes due to classes, my practice schedule is always consistent. I am unavailable from 12-3 everyday, other than that I am completely available depending on my class schedule! I am available on Saturday all day, Sunday I am available after 10am. When I care for pets in a clients home, I like to treat their space and the pets as if it’s my own. I follow each pets routine closely, I make sure feeding is on time, fresh water is provided, and giving a lot of affection. For dogs I make sure to take daily walks, visit parks or local areas for exercise and socialization if that’s what the dog feels comfortable with, and to make sure they get a good amount of stimulation and play time. For cats I maintain litter boxes, cozy and warm resting spots, and prioritize spending quality time playing or even just keeping them company so they’re not alone. I also keep the home clean and organized, tidy up any messes, and make sure the environment stays safe and comfortable for the pets. My goal is always to help pets feel happy, relaxed, and loved while their owners are away.
“Angelina has been an absolute blessing for our family and our dogs. She cares for Winston (our Cockapoo), Charlie, Annie (our Labradoodle), and our Bernedoodle, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She has such a calm, wonderful presence, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs. They’ve all warmed up to her so quickly, which says everything about her energy and the trust she builds with them. Every time they return, they have the most cheerful dispositions and are ready for a cozy nap—it’s obvious they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands. We truly feel lucky to have Angelina and would highly recommend her.”

“Christie was very sweet to my babies, was prompt and communicated well. I appreciated that she took the time to get to know my pups, home and concerns. I always worry that my pups are just wild and not following our normal and ongoing training with walkers and sitters. However, during our introductions Christie seemed comfortable correcting behaviors like jumping and chewing. The pups were sad when she left which is a great sign to me!”

“Holly took wonderful care of my German Shepherd, Nicolai, for the week. She kept me updated every day with pictures and details of their walking routes, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Nicolai looked incredibly happy and well cared for in every update. It’s clear Holly genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. About: I have been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them! I started at 7 years old with bunnies, and since then I’ve had experience with all kinds of animals—dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, strays, and even some farm animals. So I’m really comfortable with different personalities and care needs. I’ve done a bit of pet sitting, from quick check-ins to stays that last a few weeks, and I quickly adapt to your pet’s normal routine so they always feel safe and relaxed. I’m great with senior pets too and understand they might need a little extra care, slower walks, or more attention. (As I have my own senior pup!) I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well taken care of. Nothing feels better than bringing an animal immense happiness and relaxation! I am currently working part-time, usually in the early mornings, so I am pretty available in the afternoon every weekday! I am also a full-time student, but most of my classes are online, which helps my schedule stay open and flexible. I am currently not available to have any furbabies in my own living space. :( But I have no trouble whatsoever with any other service!

About: Hello, my name is Karina. I truly adore animals and would love to care for your pets. I treat every pet the same way I would want my own pet to be treated with love, patience, and attention. I know how important it is to feel at ease while you’re away, so I always send regular updates to keep you informed on how your pet is doing. Your pet will never feel alone. My mom and sister are also animal lovers, and together we make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. Cats stay indoors in our rooms in a calm, cozy space. Dogs are kept both inside and outside during the day, and we also provide walks. At night, dogs are kept indoors so I always know they are safe. I carefully follow all feeding instructions and any specific routines you provide. I also keep a clean, safe environment, including a well-maintained yard. I currently have one cat, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable. If you have any questions or would like to meet, please reach out. I would love to get to know you and your pet. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take your pets on walks and play with. When I’m not home my family is with them and also treats them with the same love. (No children in the home) I provide safety to your pets by keeping their litter box hygienic, providing a fenced yard, and monitoring them throughout the entire day. I treat your pets like how I’d like my pet to be treated.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
