I have a Pomeranian of my own, and I’ve lived with and cared for all different kinds of dogs and cats over the years. A little about me outside of pet sitting: I’ve lived in Japan, Hawaii, Sacramento, and the Bay Area, and now I’ve settled in Monterey with my family. About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs for many years. I have two dogs and one cat of my own. I trained my dogs as puppies but have also taken care of senior dogs. I have a lot of experience with high energy dogs who need lots of attention. I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I am currently in undergrad at CSU Monterey Bay. My availability varies weekly but is flexible. I ask for a weeks notice of your needs to clear any conflicts. The environment that pets will be watched will vary by their owners homes and comfortably. I ask owners to please tell me their house rules for their pets safety. I do not offer boarding services but am happy to watch your furry friends in your own home.

About: My preferred name is Artemisia (my legal name is Paola), and I’ll be your pet’s main sitter and caretaker. I share my home with my boyfriend, Ahmed, who may occasionally lend a hand here and there, but I’m the person responsible for your pet’s care, communication, walks, feeding, and day to day routine. I believe animals deserve the absolute best care, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I grew up with both cats and dogs and currently care for an adorable cat and two puppies, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and needs. I work from home, which means your pet will have lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I bring a calm, intuitive presence and really take the time to get to know each animal and what makes them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime and a little training, or would rather have a cozy day full of naps and cuddles, I tailor their care to what they enjoy most (usually a mix of both!). I live in a house with a large backyard, so there’s plenty of space to play and get outside. Ahmed is also an animal lover and may be around during your pet’s stay, but I am the primary caretaker for all bookings and will be the one you communicate with about your pet. Whether you’re traveling, working, or simply need an extra hand, you can feel confident knowing your pet will be in a safe, loving, and attentive environment with someone who genuinely cares about making their time away from you as comfortable and happy as possible. I work from home, so your pet will have company and care throughout most of the day alongside my own pets. If your dog enjoys walks or outings like the beach, I’d love to include them with mine. Otherwise, they’ll be relaxing at home in a calm, attentive environment and won’t be left alone for more than about an hour (if they’re comfortable with short periods of alone time). I make sure my pets get a healthy balance of play, structure, and rest. With my dog, I focus on plenty of playtime and ongoing training, which helps her burn energy and settle into naps while I work. My cat prefers a calmer routine and spends most of her day relaxing in her own space, but I always make time for snuggles and connection so she feels loved and secure. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and energy levels. If a dog becomes tired or overstimulated, I’m happy to crate them for a peaceful reset if that’s part of their routine. For cats, I create a cozy, quiet space where they can feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. There is plenty of room in our house and yard to create separate spaces for pets to have their own areas (for sleep, food, play, etc.) if that is what they prefer. ❤️

About: I have experience potty training puppies, and administrating multiple medications for dogs if needed! I can also walk your dogs and send pictures every day while I am taking care of them. I’m a student at CSUMB, so I will be available mostly on weekends (Friday included). I don’t mind going a bit out of my way, within reason. I take care of my pets as best as I can, and will try my best to clean up after both your pet and myself if necessary! I believe in short maintenance cleaning daily as opposed to cleaning everything all at once.

About: I’ve pet sat for family and friends who had dogs , cats , and hamsters. I also have experience with guinea pigs and bunnies also. I am currently working a temporary part time. About: Easy going and adaptable dog walker with experience! Animal lover and grad student wanting to work on the side! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently a full time graduate student which consists of a pretty busy schedule during the week but leaves the weekends very open. Also, on breaks, usually consisting of 4-6 weeks at a time, my schedule is wide open to accommodate a variety of dog walking needs. I have a fenced backyard with a moderate amount of space to run around. When dog sitting or walking, I always try to be aware and alert during social situations and pay attention to the needs of your dog while making sure they can get their energy out!

About: I’ve loved caring for pets for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I was the primary caregiver for a family friend’s dog for over a year during COVID and have also looked after my uncle’s dog during multi-week stays. I make sure every dog gets plenty of walks, park time, exercise, and socialization, along with feeding, pee pad changes, and a clean, happy home. I’ve also cared for about five cats over the years and currently have a cat of my own. I know how to keep cats happy, healthy, and comfortable with feeding, litter box care, and plenty of gentle attention. I love spending time with animals, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently attending hartnell college as a full time student and athlete. As every semester changes due to classes, my practice schedule is always consistent. I am unavailable from 12-3 everyday, other than that I am completely available depending on my class schedule! I am available on Saturday all day, Sunday I am available after 10am. When I care for pets in a clients home, I like to treat their space and the pets as if it’s my own. I follow each pets routine closely, I make sure feeding is on time, fresh water is provided, and giving a lot of affection. For dogs I make sure to take daily walks, visit parks or local areas for exercise and socialization if that’s what the dog feels comfortable with, and to make sure they get a good amount of stimulation and play time. For cats I maintain litter boxes, cozy and warm resting spots, and prioritize spending quality time playing or even just keeping them company so they’re not alone. I also keep the home clean and organized, tidy up any messes, and make sure the environment stays safe and comfortable for the pets. My goal is always to help pets feel happy, relaxed, and loved while their owners are away.

About: Hi, I have about 6 years of experience in pet care! I have so much free time on my hands and would love to build a relationships with your dog/cat, and also be here to help you out with your pet needs. I’m able to feed, water, play, take them for walks/runs, and simply provide company for your pet. I have a huge heart for animals and truly enjoy being around them. If you’re in need of someone to watch your pet for you, please feel free to reach out as they’ll be loved by me like they’re my own :) I have a lot of extra time on my hands during the week. Watching your pet for you would be the perfect addition to my day and gives me something to do which I enjoy. Your pet is welcome here anytime Pets are allowed on furniture. My cat is an indoor cat. I like to keep Ace inside because of the wildlife outside. I know cats are hunters but I feel as if his safety is 10x better and able to be observed, when he’s inside with me. He is on a great schedule when it comes to food and water and baths are a must! He’s spoiled rotten and has all the toys in the world. He has his own bed but somehow ends up with me every night- he’s very clingy. If I’m watching a bigger dog, Ace will usually sit and watch from a distance and mind his business. If I’m watching a smaller dog, Ace might want to sniff for a little bit then end up wanting to play! If he doesn’t like the dog, he’ll run off and hide or lay at a window by himself where he won’t get bothered. If your dog isn’t well with cats, I AM able to put Ace into another room where they can be separated for the time being :)
