“We were so lucky to find Sara for our two-week trip. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but Sara completely put our minds at ease from the very beginning. They were professional, warm, and clearly wonderful with our two dogs. The best part was their communication—we looked forward to their daily photos and updates! It was so reassuring to see our boys happy and well-cared-for. We came home to a tidy house and two very happy dogs. We fully trusted Sara in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely be booking them for all our future trips. Highly recommend”

“Spencer did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs and cat for 4 days while my family and I were out of town. I could tell that he took the time to read through our detailed instructions and he sent lots of pictures and video to reassure us that they were well taken care of while we were away. Also, one of our dogs is very strong and pulls a lot during walks. Spencer is definitely strong enough and experienced enough to walk him which is one of the reasons we hired him. He is also a very good house guest. If it weren't for the pictures and videos he sent, I wouldn't have even known he was there. Thank you Spencer. We will definitely be seeking you out again for pet sitting.”

“Abby saved Arty’s life while she was sitting. He became very seriously ill the second day I was gone. I was on a boat in glacier bay Alaska and could not be reached for 2 days. I had not left a letter authorizing payment to his vets (my bad) and when she called, they refused. So she had the good sense to show up at their door with him in their arms after calling everyone who I listed as support and trying on her own to revive him. (He is diabetic). He had been in ICU for 2 days by the time I got all her messages. The waters parted and I was able to get home the same day. In the meantime, she visited him in ICU and gave him love and encouragement. It turned out that he had a ruptured gall bladder and they removed it along with cleaning out all the granular black debris from his abdominal cavity. He has almost recovered completely now, only one week later. I know he would not be alive if it wasn’t for Abby. Grateful is an understatement! Abby is all that a pet owner could want to look after their beloved fur baby.”
About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.
About: I provide calm, reliable pet care with lots of communication and photo updates so owners can relax while they’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes and energy levels and enjoy keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I’m active, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable with walks, drop-ins, feeding routines, medications, and overnight care. Whether your pet loves long walks or just wants a calm companion, I try to match their personality and needs. I know how important trust and consistency are when someone is caring for your pet, so I focus on being responsive, dependable, and detail-oriented. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week, including weekends when needed. I do my best to accommodate each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks so they can stay comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, daycare, and house sitting, depending on scheduling availability, and I make communication a priority by providing regular updates and photos during each visit or stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and supervised environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and individual needs to help reduce stress and keep pets comfortable. I believe trust and communication are extremely important, so I provide regular updates and photos throughout each stay or visit. I also take time to learn each pet’s personality, habits, and any special instructions ahead of time so I can provide attentive, reliable care. Whether during walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I focus on creating a safe and positive experience for both pets and their owners.
“Our pups love Lindsay and we’ve been so grateful for her flexibility this most recent booking. Our house needed some repairs while she was dog sitting and she was so patient with the requests related to that.”

“Rebeca did an amazing job house sitting and caring for our reactive dog, Ginger. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she was patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about Ginger's well-being. Caring for a reactive dog requires extra understanding and compassion, and Rebeca handled everything beautifully. She kept us updated throughout our trip with pictures and the sweetest stories about Ginger's day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, Ginger was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Our house was also in great shape. We are incredibly grateful for the love and attention Rebeca gave to Ginger and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet sitter. We will absolutely book with her again!”

About: Proud mom of a healthy and cheerful 7.5 yo red golden retriever (whom I have had from a puppy). I have a lifelong experience with dogs; grew up with a German Sheppard mix and have been doing pet care exchanges with friends for the past 5 yrs. While boarding dogs at my house I always provided frequent updates to the owners. For boarding: my dog does best with dogs same size or smaller. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard, within a walking distance to the beach and Frederick St. dog park. I do cook for my dog and can do same for yours (or I adjust to your preferences). I’m dedicated to pet’s wellbeing and will ensure that your dog is safe, gets enough exercise and rest. My 16 yo son also loves playing with dogs. We all are looking forward to host your dog in our house (and/or go for walks together). I work from home part-time and I'm available for boarding your dog at my house (also over the Holidays) or for taking your dog for walks (together with mine). I have plenty of space in my house, fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your pooch company. For safety I do not accept very large or uncontrollable dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of different breeds and types of dogs, including catahoula leopard dogs, golden retrievers, labs, yorkies, and hounds, over the past couple of years. The dogs I’ve taken care of range from the ages of 3 months to 13 years. I have also taken care of pups after being neutered, which required extra attention to incision site as well as giving daily medications. I’m currently working full time in San Jose, but am completely available weekends. I also am available early mornings and late evenings. I have in the past worked from home to stay with pups for multiple days in a row. The dogs I have cared for have always been in the client’s home, which have been both indoor and outdoor dogs. I ensure to stay on schedule for the dogs to ensure they are comfortable while their family is away.
About: As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood, growing up with Labrador Retrievers and learning firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. Over the years, I’ve helped whelp litters, fostered rescue dogs (including one who became a beloved member of our family), and cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My home is peaceful and dog-friendly, shared with my sweet mixed-breed dog, Prema, and features a large, securely fenced yard for safe play and exploration. Daily walks, plenty of attention, and a calm, nurturing environment ensure that every dog in my care feels comfortable, loved, and right at home. I’m currently working from home, part-time, and teaching yoga at a nearby gym a couple of days a week, so your sweet pet would rarely be home on their own. My single-story home has a large, fenced yard where your dog can roam freely to play, take a sunbath, or chase butterflies. My 32 lb dog, Prema, will keep your dog company on daily walks and at home. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮
“Katie was a wonderful cat sitter! She stayed with my cat while I was out of town for six days. She was easy to communicate with and sent photo updates regularly. When I got back home my cat was happy and my apartment was in great shape. I would definitely book with Katie again!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens which taught me how to care for every animal with patience and love from an early age. I am calm, dependable, and connect naturally with pets, even the more shy ones. I have experience caring for both energetic puppies as well as senior pets, including giving medications and following special routines which I do for my own senior dogs. I always treat every animal like family and make sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe while you are away. Pet care has always been a part of my daily routine, and I love spending time playing with, walking, and caring for pets. I am a recent college graduate currently searching for work which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. I can provide care morning, afternoons, and evenings, and will happily adjust to your pet's needs and routine. I care for pets in their own home with much love and attention, following all instructions and routines closely in order to keep them at ease in the surroundings they know best. I prioritize their safety, happiness, and comfort while also treating your space and belongings with respect. Having cared for animals my whole life, I make sure every pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for while you are away so that they feel at ease.

“Andrea is great! She’s watched my minipoodle while I worked late. She’s reliable, punctual and is a great communicator. My dog automatically felt comfortable with her and is always calm when I return home. I will be using her again!”

“Kathy is great! I felt completely comfortable leaving my precious babies in her care and really got to enjoy my trip away. Not only did Kathy take excellent care of the dogs, she helped my boy (Merle) manage through fireworks! I came home and braced myself during more fireworks following the holiday, only to find, Merle was not stressed over them at all. Not only that, he didn't bark as he usually does! What a surprise! I am so thankful!”

“We are so grateful to have found Meghan! We’re so happy to have received pics and updates. It was obvious that our babies were happy! I’m addition, which she didn’t have to do, cleared our bedding for washing. Thanks Meghan, we look forward to the next time.”
