As a lifelong animal lover with more than 25 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, horses, emus, chickens, and even a feral cat colony, I understand that every animal deserves patience, compassion, and individualized care. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment where your dog or cat can relax, play, and feel at home while you're away. Located on three beautiful acres in Aromas, California, my property offers a peaceful park-like setting with plenty of room to explore safely. Safety is my highest priority, and dogs are never left unattended outdoors. Every guest receives attentive supervision, plenty of exercise, and lots of affection throughout the day. Your dog's stay may include walks, nature hikes, supervised outdoor play, enrichment activities, cuddle time, and, for suitable dogs, adventures to local beaches and trails. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to relax, I tailor care to their individual personality and needs. Inside, dogs and cats enjoy a spacious 2,800-square-foot home where they are welcomed as members of the family. They can lounge on comfortable furniture, sleep on the bed if permitted by their owners, or rest in their own crate if that is their normal routine. I share my home with my gentle 11-year-old pit bull, who gets along well with dogs, cats, and the farm animals on the property. Because I value safety and positive experiences for every guest, I carefully evaluate compatibility and strive to create a calm, stress-free environment. When your dog stays with me, they're not staying in a kennel—they're joining a home filled with love, experience, and genuine respect for animals. My goal is for both you and your dog to enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing your family member is safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your dog or cat. I'm semi-retired and take advantage of our beautiful central coast daily, either walking, hiking, or playing on the beach. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood, growing up with Labrador Retrievers and learning firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. Over the years, I’ve helped whelp litters, fostered rescue dogs (including one who became a beloved member of our family), and cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My home is peaceful and dog-friendly, shared with my sweet mixed-breed dog, Prema, and features a large, securely fenced yard for safe play and exploration. Daily walks, plenty of attention, and a calm, nurturing environment ensure that every dog in my care feels comfortable, loved, and right at home. I’m currently working from home, part-time, and teaching yoga at a nearby gym a couple of days a week, so your sweet pet would rarely be home on their own. My single-story home has a large, fenced yard where your dog can roam freely to play, take a sunbath, or chase butterflies. My 32 lb dog, Prema, will keep your dog company on daily walks and at home. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮

About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.

About: Your loved one will be pampered and enjoy quite the vacation as a guest to our home. Plenty of walks and sunning in the yard I am located near the Pajaro Levee and just 7 miles from the beach. and I am available for daycare if you want to visit our beautiful coastline I Love to hangout and play with my furry friends. I have always grown up with pets. I’ve had a standard poodle a beagle Boston terrier and a terrier I understand all pets have different personalities and look to play to their strengths. Our doggie 🐶 guests are welcome to sleep with anyone anywhere in our house. Your loved pet becomes part of our family. We have lots of open space and beach to enjoy. At least 3 long walks a day. Premium dog sitting at a very reasonable rate. I am self employed and my schedule is very flexible. I am fully committed to the safety and well being of my doggies. My wife and daughter love to help. About: I've dog sat many of my neighbors dogs along with my own 2 dogs. I am a reliable and loving dog parent. I'm understanding and care for dogs. I've had senior dogs and raised my own dogs since they were puppies. I work an 8-4 job, so I understand how it can be difficult to fit in a walk or play time with your fur baby. With just 1 hour of a walk or even 30 minutes can make your pup pretty happy. Safety and well being of pets is very important. I will care for your dog as if they were my very own dog. I am very cautious and aware of my surroundings.

About: When I found this app I was beyond happy, I love being around animals and being able to provide them a comfort space away from home! An interesting fact/story is when I was a little girl about 7ish I used to try and save the baby birds that would fall from of the tree by my house. from there on I knew being able to help animals where I can was my calling . This is the best way to spend time in life; with a furry buddy and some nice walks, activities and chill time! I can’t wait to be able to meet your best friend! My dog Honey can’t wait to meet them either 🧡 I currently am a full time student so my schedule is open every day expect Monday and Wednesdays. I have a lab retriever so she loves making new friends:) The way I care for a pet is how the pets owner prefers ( me personally I always have a looong list of everything my puppy honey loves and dislikes and her daily/food schedule) I’m ready for as much detail you like for me to know about your best pal. About: I have worked with animals for a very long time. I grew up with them and then I decided to study Veterinary care in college working with animals such as cattle, horses, dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and others. I worked at a grooming/boarding facility as well. I have trained my own dogs and some friends dogs. I have also raised puppies and worked with professional training to better my own dogs. I am a stay at home mom due to day care and I figured I have always loved animals, why not work with them? I am pretty much available all week. I have a fenced yard where my dogs roam, My dogs are crate trained and go out most of the day. I do walk them once or twice a day depending on the weather. I also do feeding 2x a day and a couple of treats while training. We do other activities as well

It is never fun leaving behind a family memeber but i'll make sure they are not only taken well care of, they'll have so much attention and fun they won't have time to miss you! Im comfortable giving medication, long walks, frequent updates, early trips to the dog park or late night trips. I can prepare a BARF meal or a kibble one.
