We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. I have a beautiful border collie myself and I also have experience walking all types of small and large dogs for the Santa Cruz SPCA. About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. I'm free every day, but Thursday and I'm not free Saturday after 6pm I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.
