They are the best creatures in the world My schedule starts off with morning feeding routine and then a walk! Or whatever routine you would like me to do with your baby I will stick to the routine that has been provided I have a big back yard and front yard. Both fenced in I have trained dogs in the house that can be separated from the dogs I take in or they can mingle up to the pet parent! Dogs are allowed on beds and furniture and around the home !

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for the past 7 years from puppy stage to them being almost 7 and 8. One of my dogs is adopted, so I can provide a safe haven for dogs that don’t trust easily. I can do afternoon walks, or overnight care if needed. I have a home with a yard and enough space for them to play inside or outside. I have two dogs that I’ve had for almost 3 years and I care for them like they are my kids. So of course I’m a dog lover. I’m super attentive to everything especially a change in dogs behavior and I’m really big on communication because I know how stressful it can be when you’re traveling away from your pet. There is also a vet down the street from me that I take my dogs to in case anything ever happens. My dogs are both calm (I have a mutt and a corgi) and they love meeting new dogs. However, I can only do boarding at my place because of this reason.

“Ashley was proactive about meeting with us well in advance of our trip and making sure she had all the details she needed while we were away. We needed someone who could stay overnight since our cats are not used to being alone at all. One in particular is very fearful. She communicated well during our trip and sent photos of the 4 felines. When we thought we might get delayed overnight on the way home, she was willing to stay another night with no question. She was very sweet but also responsible and thoughtful. We will definitely book her again when the time comes.”

About: i have had dogs since i’ve been 6 years old and have had 5 at one point in time ! I Love them so much I am currently working part-time at a Bath and Body works store but am also waiting for my state board test to have aesthetician license ! “I think Melanie is an animal whisperer. We have a thirteen year old cat that over the years our neighbors would care for her and another that has since transitioned. Our one neighbor could never really see her and neither of our neighbors could ever really pet her. Melanie could. She did this within a day or two. We currently have our thirteen year old Queen and two, year old kittens. They were so well loved and cared for we couldn't ask for more. The kittens followed her around and the photo's she sent are priceless. Played laser tag with them and doted on them. Not only is she an animal whisperer but a great animal photographer. When we got home their feeding area was well kept the kitchen counter was nicely cleaned, the litter box was topped off and clean and the floor was vacuumed and free of fur. Aside from all that it was obvious that the felines were happy. Peace of mind was also included.”

About: I’ve always had dog in my life. Having my own dogs as well as working in a vet hospital I have much experience in giving love and care to all pets I meet. I am great with animals and am more than willing to do house sitting, day time check ins, walking, bathing, etc.! Though for things like walking dogs would prefer to do that in the morning in order to beat the heat! I have a large fenced in yard with one dog to keep others company. My dog is crate trained and is non aggressive. In the house there is no chemicals or other harmful substances that pets could access. Additionally most cabinets and such are baby proofed so cats or other small pets would not be able to get in or trapped.

About: I’ve loved caring for pets for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I was the primary caregiver for a family friend’s dog for over a year during COVID and have also looked after my uncle’s dog during multi-week stays. I make sure every dog gets plenty of walks, park time, exercise, and socialization, along with feeding, pee pad changes, and a clean, happy home. I’ve also cared for about five cats over the years and currently have a cat of my own. As every semester changes due to classes, my practice schedule is always consistent. I am unavailable from 12-3 everyday, other than that I am completely available depending on my class schedule! I am available on Saturday all day, Sunday I am available after 10am. When I care for pets in a clients home, I like to treat their space and the pets as if it’s my own. I follow each pets routine closely, I make sure feeding is on time, fresh water is provided, and giving a lot of affection. For dogs I make sure to take daily walks, visit parks or local areas for exercise and socialization if that’s what the dog feels comfortable with, and to make sure they get a good amount of stimulation and play time. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮
