“Abby saved Arty’s life while she was sitting. He became very seriously ill the second day I was gone. I was on a boat in glacier bay Alaska and could not be reached for 2 days. I had not left a letter authorizing payment to his vets (my bad) and when she called, they refused. So she had the good sense to show up at their door with him in their arms after calling everyone who I listed as support and trying on her own to revive him. (He is diabetic). He had been in ICU for 2 days by the time I got all her messages. The waters parted and I was able to get home the same day. In the meantime, she visited him in ICU and gave him love and encouragement. It turned out that he had a ruptured gall bladder and they removed it along with cleaning out all the granular black debris from his abdominal cavity. He has almost recovered completely now, only one week later. I know he would not be alive if it wasn’t for Abby. Grateful is an understatement! Abby is all that a pet owner could want to look after their beloved fur baby.”

“Spencer did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs and cat for 4 days while my family and I were out of town. I could tell that he took the time to read through our detailed instructions and he sent lots of pictures and video to reassure us that they were well taken care of while we were away. Also, one of our dogs is very strong and pulls a lot during walks. Spencer is definitely strong enough and experienced enough to walk him which is one of the reasons we hired him. He is also a very good house guest. If it weren't for the pictures and videos he sent, I wouldn't have even known he was there. Thank you Spencer. About: Proud mom of a healthy and cheerful 7.5 yo red golden retriever (whom I have had from a puppy). I have a lifelong experience with dogs; grew up with a German Sheppard mix and have been doing pet care exchanges with friends for the past 5 yrs. While boarding dogs at my house I always provided frequent updates to the owners. For boarding: my dog does best with dogs same size or smaller. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard, within a walking distance to the beach and Frederick St. dog park. I do cook for my dog and can do same for yours (or I adjust to your preferences). I’m dedicated to pet’s wellbeing and will ensure that your dog is safe, gets enough exercise and rest. My 16 yo son also loves playing with dogs. We all are looking forward to host your dog in our house (and/or go for walks together). I work from home part-time and I'm available for boarding your dog at my house (also over the Holidays) or for taking your dog for walks (together with mine). I have plenty of space in my house, fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your pooch company. For safety I do not accept very large or uncontrollable dogs.

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood, growing up with Labrador Retrievers and learning firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. Over the years, I’ve helped whelp litters, fostered rescue dogs (including one who became a beloved member of our family), and cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My home is peaceful and dog-friendly, shared with my sweet mixed-breed dog, Prema, and features a large, securely fenced yard for safe play and exploration. Daily walks, plenty of attention, and a calm, nurturing environment ensure that every dog in my care feels comfortable, loved, and right at home. I’m currently working from home, part-time, and teaching yoga at a nearby gym a couple of days a week, so your sweet pet would rarely be home on their own. My single-story home has a large, fenced yard where your dog can roam freely to play, take a sunbath, or chase butterflies. My 32 lb dog, Prema, will keep your dog company on daily walks and at home. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮

About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.

I absolutely adore dogs and have become a professional cuddler. I live for that big smile they get after a nice belly rub! I’ve boarded dogs in my home many times; from Shiba Inus to Huskies. I am an energetic, assertive, patient dog lover and am ecstatic to meet your fur baby! I’m very flexible. I’m available as early and as late as needed. I’m willing to accommodate you as best as I can to find something suitable within our schedules. I have no timeframe restrictions. I always greet your dog and allow them to feel comfortable before engaging in petting. I am comfortable with crating if needed. I want your dog to feel safe around me and in my presence, so lots of love and affection may be necessary.

They are the best creatures in the world My schedule starts off with morning feeding routine and then a walk! Or whatever routine you would like me to do with your baby I will stick to the routine that has been provided I have a big back yard and front yard. Both fenced in I have trained dogs in the house that can be separated from the dogs I take in or they can mingle up to the pet parent! Dogs are allowed on beds and furniture and around the home !

About: I’ve taken care of different breeds and types of dogs, including catahoula leopard dogs, golden retrievers, labs, yorkies, and hounds, over the past couple of years. The dogs I’ve taken care of range from the ages of 3 months to 13 years. I have also taken care of pups after being neutered, which required extra attention to incision site as well as giving daily medications. I’m currently working full time in San Jose, but am completely available weekends. I also am available early mornings and late evenings. I have in the past worked from home to stay with pups for multiple days in a row. The dogs I have cared for have always been in the client’s home, which have been both indoor and outdoor dogs. I ensure to stay on schedule for the dogs to ensure they are comfortable while their family is away.
