About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with a wonderful Australian Shepherd mix who was my best friend from 2014 until her passing in 2021. She inspired my passion for animal care, which led me to work as a kennel and veterinary technician assistant in 2022. At the clinic, I gained hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and special needs—everything from energetic puppies to senior pets and even exotic animals like rabbits and bearded dragons. I was trained to assist with appointments, surgeries, and administering medications (oral, topical, and injectable, including IV infusions for elderly cats and insulin injections for dogs). I also handled grooming, bathing, and, most importantly, ensuring every pet felt loved and cared for. In addition to my professional experience, I’m the proud pet parent of a stray cat I adopted in 2022 and have cared for several dogs, including puppies and a senior dog who needed extra-special attention while she was sick. I bring patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals to every interaction. Whether it’s a fun walk, a cozy cuddle session, or making sure your pet gets the care they need, I’m here to help! Monica did a fabulous job caring for our cat for 10 days while we were out of the Country. Though our cat is the most unsociable furbug that has ever existed (ha), Monica managed to get her to come out to meow-sing and get some petting.
