She was also very flexible when the first night my flight got cancelled and I had to return home. She retuned the next morning and resumed care. About: Hi! I’m Abby, a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for both cats and dogs. I currently share my home with two sweet rescue cats I adopted in 2020. I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life and understand how unique and particular they can be. In 2024, I spent six months volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I cared for cats of all ages and temperaments. I also have years of experience dog sitting for friends and family, and I grew up with a wonderful family dog who sparked my love for dogs. About: I've grown up around dogs my whole life, whether my family's, friends or neighbors. With all the responsibilities including dog walking, bathing, feeding and so on! Alongside this, I also over the last few years was able to gain professional dog care experience working at a local cat/dog boarding and daycare center, and was able to get to care for dogs of all sizes and breeds! I am a recent college graduate and retired student athlete exploring what my new routines will turn into in this new chapter of my life. Since I’m done with school and now moved back home, pet care is a daily in my routine with my own furbabies once again, which makes my pet care through Rover feel just as much a part of that routine. Having also been an athlete for so long, I’ve learned how to manage my time well and I’ve gained good practice in adapting to new or sudden changes in my own routine and still give the best care as I am able!! Back at home my family has a fenced in yard, and my dogs are currently crate less/don't use kennels aside from a new puppy my family just recently adopted. For a long time we did utilize kennels for all of our fur babies if we were out of the house for longer periods of time. All of my own dogs need to be on a leash when we take them out for walks in the neighborhood, adventures around town, or up at my family's cottage.

About: We’ve had different kinds of pets since I was young. I loved having them as a part of my life! I’ve got you and yours covered! I currently have a god that I let out mid-day three days a week. I stop by in between shifts at work and take her for a walk, have some play time and make sure she gets a snack! I care for them like my own pets! A nice greeting at the door, a walk and potty, some plays and a snack/treat if that’s the routine. I understand many pets have different routines and I will always follow that!
