“I am so grateful for Kris! She is so kind and accommodating. Our dogs are a little high maintenance (one has some behavioral issues and the other has special needs) and she was more than happy to take care of them. In the past when we’ve had a poor experience with other walkers my dogs are stressed when I get home. Every time Kris has taken care of my dogs they seem so calm and content! She leaves detailed notes about the visit and sends lots of pictures, which I appreciate. She also stopped by to meet them beforehand to make sure it was a good fit. I would 100% recommend her services and will continue to book with her!”

“Kelly did an outstanding job walking Colt for me on Thursday and Friday mornings this week while my regular dog walker Tara was out of town visiting her daughter at college in Florida. Kelly was right on time every day and she bonded quickly with Colt and she really impressed Tara also when she came over a couple of weeks ago for a meet and greet and walked the route with Tara and Colt. Kelly walked Colt over 2 miles each morning in an hour very consistent with his walks with Tara and myself when I walk him on the weekends. She responded promptly to my request when I first contacted her and Kelly definitely exceeded my expectations!! She is very friendly and courteous and made me feel confident and completely at ease with walking Colt and I’m so glad that she is very physically fit to give Colt great exercise walking in the woods and around the two horse pastures in the early mornings when Colt is feeling his best and most active. I will definitely want and need her assistance again very soon in the near future since Tara travels out of state fairly often to visit her family.”

“Lesley did a wonderful job walking my dogs while I was away at work. She was timely and communicated well with me. I felt my dogs were well cared for. I would recommend Lesley to anyone needing dog walking services. Would definitely book her again in the future!”

“Tara was fantastic walking our stubborn hound dog while we were out of town. And just keeping him company when his stubborn self didn’t want to walk at all :) I had only met her the day before we left and Franklin could not have been in better hands. We received detailed and thorough reports after each walk and visit she had with him. We will definitely use Tara again in the future!”

“Mr. Ron is extremely professional, he has been great with our dog. He is flexible and has been able to shift when we had something come up and we needed him to change the times he could walk our dog. He’s kind, our dog loves him, and he’s a great American.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I’m available to board dogs as well so long as any furry guest gets along with the dogs already in the house. I’m comfortable administering medication so long as instructions are given. I’m certified in canine CPR. Im happy to cater to the needs of your dog and follow any instructions you provide. As im working from home, im available nearly all the time except for a few virtual meetings during the week. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

“Ashley was so helpful and flexible in caring for our dog Riley. Our plans changed weekly and I appreciate Ashley being so patient with us. I recommend Ashley without hesitation.”

About: I’ve taken care of family and friend’s dogs of all ages since I was young! I’m experienced with dog walking/sitting, feeding, and administering medications. I also have a 9 month old puppy of my own, so I understand how important it is to make sure your pet is well taken care of! I’m currently a stay at home dog mom. This allows me to be very flexible during the week for all of your dog walking or drop-in visit needs! I am a caring and trustworthy dog lover! When coming to your home, my main priorities are to ensure the comfort, safety, and happiness of your pet!

About: I will go the extra mile to make sure your pup is well loved, hydrated, fed, and exercised. I am new to the area and am eager to explore with a furry friend that I cannot financially support currently, so I will love and care for it like my own. I just moved to Southern Pines, and am looking for any kind of word I can. My experience having dogs in my house all my life has made me responsible and capable of taking care of any kind of dog. We have a very safe apartment complex that we take long walks around many times a day to keep your pup happy and comfortable. If your dog is also a competent swimmer we have a nearby lake with public swimming spots to enjoy.

About: I have taken care of pets for 4 years now. I have taken care of other pets, such as goats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and a gecko. I recently earned my Level 1 Certified Veterinary Assistant credential, so if your pet has any medications, like a pill, shot, or anything topical, I know how to administer those. Along with that, I have clinical experience due to my internship at Carthage Animal Hospital. I am free most of the summer, which allows me to have a more flexible schedule to take care of your pet. I also can take care of them at any specific times you need me to. Typically, I try to make sure the pet is well fed and has used the restroom while also playing with them to prevent boredom. I also believe in a safe environment for them, especially on walks or when taken outside, because it is such an important aspect to making sure your pet is protected.

About: I have two dogs of my own and love playing and walking with them! I’m an active person and will always be up for a long walk with your pet or just hanging out with them and giving them love! I’m a student currently taking classes online so I have a very flexible schedule! I’m widely available and eager to take care of pets as often as possible! I have lots of experience walking dogs and taking care of all there other needs! I am also an experienced cat sitter and am a trustworthy caretaker for your cat!

About: I have taken care of neighborhood pets since I was 8 years old. From letting dogs out mid-day to house sitting for extended periods of time. I have experience with a variety of needs and am happy to work with unique situations. There is a gap in my experience due to having children and focusing on my family! I am currently a stay at home mom of 4. I walk daily in the morning and night and would gladly bring your pup along! I am flexible and will work with your needs! Our home has a fenced in backyard and we live on a path for easy access to go on lots of walks. I have 4 young children who will love on and care for your pets as well as a golden retriever that will love having a friend around.

About: Hey y’all! I teach at Pinehurst Elementary during the school year and am looking to earn some extra income over summer! I have a 13 year old Australian Shepherd Mix, a 3 year old Golden Retriever, and a 4 year old cat! Looking forward to getting the chance to love on your babies !! 🐕🐾🐈⬛ I have done pet sitting and had my own personal pets for 9+ years. I am new to rover, but I am not new to being an animal lover! Let me tell you a little about what I have to offer as a pet sitter. I do house calls for many people around the area. My house calls consist of as frequent as 3-5 visits a day (more if requested) with a guaranteed 30 minute play time. I am willing to work our pricing with multiple animals depending on the care! Rover has an automatic system that will not always provide accurate pricing. Please feel free to reach out and ask any questions regarding care for multiple pets. I would love to take care of your pet/s and treat them like my own while they are in my care! I do not work over summer so my schedule is wide open which allows me the opportunity to love on your babies as much as needed! I am willing and able to provide quality care that will best serve your pet/s. I will respect and implement all of your house rules.

“I’m thrilled to recommend Elizabeth as a dog walker on Rover. Over the time I’ve known her, I’ve been consistently impressed with her natural rapport with animals and deep sense of responsibility. Elizabeth has cared for my own pets on multiple occasions, and I’ve always been at ease knowing they were in capable, loving hands. She is punctual, trustworthy, and always goes the extra mile—whether that’s taking time for an extra-long walk or giving each dog plenty of attention and affection. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. John T.
“Jack (John) is a lover of all animals. He is not just a caregiver for pets, he is a best friend, a playmate and a genuinely great option for taking care of your furry friends. Jack had looked after my two dogs for 3 years now, and is very tentative to their needs (one is older and requires more attention and help). If you are looking for the right choice, Jack is the answer.”

Chelsey D.
