I spend a good amount of time training my dog. Teaching my dog new things is one of the best parts of my day. I love working with my dog. I follow the instructions that are given to me. About: I’m currently a pet mom of 2 awesome pups and also have multiple grand pups and cats! I grew up on a farm raising every kind of animal imaginable and have continued my love for all animals throughout my adult life. One of my current pups is deaf so I have experience with special needs and my daughter works at the local vet which offers me extra perks as well. I absolutely love all animals (probably more than humans😜) and will take care of your babies like they are my own! I am self-employed and work from home so my schedule is super flexible. I can stay at your home for overnights or simply come visit your babies every couple of hours for walks, feeding and playtime. Depending on your pet (dog only), I can also bring them to my home for playtime with my pups. I am super attentive (maybe too attentive!) and very cautious when dealing with any animal. I understand they are your babies and safety is number one! If we visit my home, my dogs are super friendly sandbar dogs and I have a fenced yard for everyone to play.

I sit for many clients who come to the island and stay at inns that do not allow dogs. I have great references. I've had cats in my past also. My mother had dogs in our home, so I was raised with them. About my yard It is a fenced in yard, not too large, but big enough for them to play and run around. My experience administering medication Yes. As I have two pups of my own, I have experience in doing this job. I have administered medication to my client's pups when they needed it. My Overnight Stays An overnight stay is 24 hours. If you are gone over the 24 hour period for the one stay, then there is an additional charge for a day care stay. I have loads of time to play with your pups! I'm home most of the time except for some errands. They will love it here with my two! I let my pet run free and they are allowed to sleep with me. I can also crate your pet if that is how you have trained him/her.

“Megan went above and beyond today with our Boo and Olive. She came over in the morning and spent abundant time with them and then again in the afternoon. It was just what we needed--not having to worry about them while we were dealing with an all-day appointment. We could tell from the photos that they were relaxed and enjoyed Megan's company. (She may have lavished more attention on them than we do!) When we arrived home, they showed none of the signs of stress or anxiety they usually display when left alone for just a couple of hours. Communication was excellent and, fortunately, Megan was flexible and adjusted the times because of a change of plan. Finally, it's important to note that Megan did come over ahead for a short 'meet and greet' session. She took notes, listened carefully and asked pertinent questions. I knew then that she would be well-prepared and kind to our beloved pets.”

About: I have loved caring for animals since I was a child. Walking and feeding our German Shepherd was my favorite part of the day. We also had a Chow and one feline. Training Rocky the rottweiler to remain calm while bunnies passed through the yard is my biggest accomplishment, thus far. I love working with animals and their energy. On Thursday morning I teach guided Meditation but make my own schedule other than that. I'm up early to watch the sun rise and greet all the neighbors and pups. Animals prefer and are most comfortable being in their own environment with the scent of loved ones surrounding them. I respect their boundaries and connect with their energy softly and respectfully.
