My Overnight Stays An overnight stay is 24 hours. If you are gone over the 24 hour period for the one stay, then there is an additional charge for a day care stay. I have loads of time to play with your pups! I'm home most of the time except for some errands. They will love it here with my two! I let my pet run free and they are allowed to sleep with me. About: I’ve had dogs & have cared for dogs my whole life. I’ve never met a sweet happy tail that I didn’t want to pet or kiss! Their loyalty, love & faithfulness are boundless. The safety, security and companionship an animal provides is all consuming. People come & go but a dog’s love is forever. My experience with dogs is extensive as I’m regularly accustomed to playing, walking, bathing, brushing, cleaning up after & managing sometimes erratic behavior from my own two Maltese boys. Bathing, blow drying, brushing both fur & teeth & cleaning up accidents are my reality every week. I have a fenced in yard at home for both of my dogs, but I am also very used to walking pets on a harness & leash to avoid any safety issues. He was too young to be left alone for my long work shifts, and I tried a few sitters before finding Mike, and I was so disappointed in the care my Harley received at the other places. One house never let the dogs outside and had the floor covered in pee pads! At Mike’s Harley gets lots of exercise in the yard with Shadow and Mike helps me keep my house training routine, which was so very important to me when finding a special place for my special boy! About: I took care of my childhood dog for 10 years, he peacefully passed a few months ago at age 14. I have 3 cats and 1 dog currently, my partner has two cats. I got a dog on 1/4/24 and her name is Indigo, she will be 2 in October. Finally, it's important to note that Megan did come over ahead for a short 'meet and greet' session. She took notes, listened carefully and asked pertinent questions. I knew then that she would be well-prepared and kind to our beloved pets.”
About: I have loved caring for animals since I was a child. Walking and feeding our German Shepherd was my favorite part of the day. We also had a Chow and one feline. Training Rocky the rottweiler to remain calm while bunnies passed through the yard is my biggest accomplishment, thus far. I love working with animals and their energy. On Thursday morning I teach guided Meditation but make my own schedule other than that. I'm up early to watch the sun rise and greet all the neighbors and pups. Animals prefer and are most comfortable being in their own environment with the scent of loved ones surrounding them. I respect their boundaries and connect with their energy softly and respectfully.
