About: I have been house sitting for coworkers and family since I was 15 years old, and I adore it! I love all types of pets, and have taken care of both cats and dogs. I also raised a 10 week old puppy who is 5 years old now, and he’s very well behaved with no bad behaviors. I am a full time university student, with a schedule that allows breaks during the day, and opportunities to tend to class online, if needed. I am very passionate about animals and I love spending quality time with dogs and cats, so when I am with the pets I will be able to give them undivided attention. When in a clients home, I take great care in making sure that the pet stays safe and in no trouble. I make sure that any outside access is monitored and/or closed off to being able to escape or get into danger. I also stay mindful about not leaving things out for a potential animal to get into, and when I am home with your furry friend, I do everything I can to keep my eyes on them!

I’ve completed puppy training classes, so I understand the patience and consistency needed to help young pups learn good habits. I also worked in a veterinary office for a year, which gave me valuable knowledge about animal health, medications, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. In addition, I fostered cats for 4 years, giving me experience with a wide range of personalities from shy kittens to seniors needing extra care. About: I have loved dogs (and all animals) since I was a child. I have had dogs for my most of my life and get so much joy from caring for them and playing with them. I do have a 21year old son who adores dogs and we have a great house for pets (the area where this site asks about children only gave an age range to 12) . We have a large fenced yard and a big house with plenty of room for playtime. We have a pug and a Brussels Griffon who are sweeties and love to play with other dogs too. I am work from home and my son is here full-time during summer break to ensure that your pup is never alone while we are watching them. I am home full-time during the weekend. About: I grew up around dogs, cats, fish, etc. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and want to love on them as much as possible. I am currently in school and making my way into becoming an ultrasound tech. I have availability throughout the week, and some weekend days. I won’t always be able to stay overnight with pets, but I will be able to check on them multiple times. My cats are indoor, and we are vigilant about making sure their escape attempts are not successful. I keep their flea meds up to date, and do my very best to not get behind on them. They also always have a warm blanket, pillow, couch or bed to lounge on.

About: I grew up working at my family’s dog grooming shop. I have seen many breeds and personalities in high stress situations. I have volunteered at the humane society and have taken behavioral dog classes. I have spent years working on my relationship with dogs and understanding them and myself. I’m currently taking a break from the regular 9-5. I am very communicative about my availability. I am also pretty open due to not working. My daily and weekly routine is mostly based on your needs. I have a dog and cat in my house so I prefer pets who are socialized if they are coming to my home. I would give the pet their food to your schedule and amount. I am able and good at helping to administer medications, if needed. I can take them on walks. I’m pretty flexible with adapting to whatever is needed.

About: Growing up, I was the designated dog, cat and plant sitter in my neighborhood. It never really felt like a job because I enjoyed it so much. To this day, I am always asked to watch over my friends pets when they leave out of town and it still.. does not feel like a job. I have a pretty flexible work schedule since I am freelance so once I am committed to you, I am committed I can promise you that. I tend to just follow the directions and notes the owners give me. I don't want to mess up anyones routine and I want pets to feel as comfortable as possible. I work freelance which is perfect in this situation as I will only accept jobs the days I am free and available! For both situations. Unfortunately I won't be caring for pets in my home as I live in an apartment and it wouldn't be much fun for them. Wish I could!

About: I have been involved with dog rescues throughout my entire life. I know how to work with dogs with big personalities and those that are a bit shy, as well. I have a lot of patience and understanding when it comes to dogs with challenging pasts and I am happy to help them work through any trust issues at their own pace. I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember and I am always the friend go volunteer to walk other people's dogs when they need help. I know the value of exercise and enrichment for dogs and I know how to make those connections with them. I am experienced in bathing, walking, playing with and feeding dogs of all sizes and breeds. Over the summer I have completely open availability and any consistency would be appreciated as I am getting married this summer and need the funds for my wedding. I can ensure that the dogs are fed, have plenty of water, have had play time and have gone on walks. I will make sure the dog gets a lot of interaction time.

About: I grew up with many animals of my own and was the default pet sitter for friends, family and neighbors. It’s only a slight exaggeration to say that I was raised by cats, nannied by dogs and educated by birds. I’ve been professionally pet sitting for twenty years; cats dogs, chickens, geese and ducks. I’m comfortable with low mobility/senior cats and dogs and great at administering insulin. I’m new to the area and have a very flexible schedule. I travel for work about a few days out of the month but that’s never last minute so it’s easy to plan around. I understand the importance of schedule, consistency and boundaries for critters being especially important when their people are away. This isn’t an easy way to make some extra cash; pet sitting is instrumental in keeping animals healthy and thriving. I don’t take being allowed into your pet's life and your home lightly.

I had a pet sitting business, worked as a dog trainer at Pet Smart and had my own training business for a short time. I love dogs and cats and respect them and how you want them cared for. Their routine is important to me as well as giving them all the love I can while you are away.
