About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, from my grandparents tiny poms to my own boxers, I love getting to know each pups personality. I'm also fairly active and frequently go on nature walks and hikes, so a buddy would be lovely :) During the weekdays I'm usually working until the afternoon, but my schedule is fairly flexible. On weekends I'm usually free for drop in visits, walks, or overnight stays. I'll make sure to stay hyper-vigilant of your pups wants and needs while they're in my care! I'm a very attentive and adaptable person, and I understand some pups take some warming up to. I can promise you my utmost patience and understanding.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my entire life. In my home growing up I had two dogs and a cat. I cared for neighbors animals often whenever they traveled. I’m adept in training dogs and dog behavior. After moving from home I dearly missed my animals and started to volunteer at a rescue center near me five times a week. I’m currently in graduate school online, studying to be an elementary school teacher! I’m doing practical work at schools nearby part time. I’m used to be around two big dogs and one cat everyday but ever since moving out of my hometown I miss the pet life. I volunteer often at a rescue shelter near me! Often I take dogs home for an enrichment vacation from the shelter! I have no pets myself so I offer a comfortable quiet environment for your beloved fur baby! I have a lovely yard just waiting for sniffs. It’s not fenced in but is surround by woods and I plan to fence eventually. And there are so many wonderful walking paths near me.

About: I have lifelong experience with animal companions, and many years of experience caring for other people’s furry friends! I have experience with special needs animal companions, high needs breeds such as Great Pyrenees and dachshunds, and multi pet households. I am in grad school and very flexible with my time! I am free weekends and all weekdays after 3 pm, as well as most of the day Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I believe that our animal companions experience the full spectrum of emotion and sensation, and I treat our animal friends with as much respect, care and compassion as I do our human ones.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is a lifelong foundation of hands-on care and deep respect for animals of all ages and personalities. I began pet sitting professionally between the ages of 11 and 16, but my experience started even earlier—I've grown up alongside four incredible dogs. I watched three loyal, high-energy black labs and one sweet, sensitive rescue chow-retriever mix go from energetic puppies to aging companions needing extra patience and care. I’ve learned how to meet dogs where they are with love, structure, and attentiveness, bringing both enthusiasm and compassion to every visit. I recently stepped down from my waitressing job to focus on my studies and spend more time doing what I genuinely love—caring for animals. Pet sitting fits naturally into my weekly routine. With my flexibility, I’m able to offer consistent, attentive care. I'm currently available weekdays from 7 AM to 9 PM, with weekend availability and additional hours upon request. I prioritize creating a calm, comfortable environment that feels safe and familiar to your pet. Even in their own home, being alone with a stranger is scary. I follow all care instructions to a tee, from feeding routines and medication to favorite toys and walking routes. I make sure to treat each home with the utmost respect—keeping things clean, tidy, and secure—and each pet!

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. 2 of those dogs are massive, and one is small. I get the best of both worlds and know how to treat all kinds of dogs. Pet care is something I do at home on a day to day basis. It’s something I enjoy and it’s something I’m good at. If I can help other people while enjoying what I’m doing, I’d say that’s a big win. When I sit at other peoples homes, I take into account the pets behaviors and the spots they tend to spend the most of their time in. Frequently checking in, giving them space when needed, spending time with them, those are all important factors.

About: Growing up, I had the sweetest golden retriever you could ever hope to meet. Based on my life circumstances, I haven't been able to have a dog of my own since, but have spent a lot of time caring for friends' dogs---walking, feeding, grooming, playing with, and medicating as needed. For now, I'm between jobs, courses, etc., so my schedule is pretty open, and I can prioritize spending time with your animals as you see fit. As for safety inside, make sure that dogs don't have easy access to toxic foods and other dangerous objects that they could accidentally ingest. Same goes for garbage cans. For outside safety, proximity to the street and moving traffic is key. In general, I keep dogs on the leash unless we're in a fenced-in area, and alone. If we see another dog, I always check with the other people first to see if their dog is safe to socialize with.

About: I absolutely love spending time with dogs, whether it’s going for walks, playing outside, or simply sitting on the floor and keeping them company. I cared for my own dog for 12 years until he passed last year, which gave me hands-on experience in daily care, companionship, and senior dog needs as he got older. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to provide loving, reliable care for dogs at all stages of life. I'm currently in school and living in Amherst for the summer while taking a course. In between part-time jobs, I’m looking for a flexible position and am available on weekdays and occasional weekends. My availability may adjust slightly once I receive the schedule for a future position, but I’ll still be based in Amherst, MA. When caring for pets in a client's home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow any instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walk times, and preferred activities. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and lots of affection and attention—whether that means playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company. I also make sure to respect the client’s home by keeping it tidy and secure. While I currently don’t care for pets in my own home, I’m committed to providing reliable, loving, and attentive care in the pet’s familiar environment.

About: I am a 19 year old student studying political science and fine arts at Tufts University, and I have spent my whole life caring for animals. I grew up taking care of chickens, dogs, and cats, and I learned so much from them. I would love to be able to spend more time with animals of all kinds before I head back to school in the fall. I am very capable and a quick learner if your pets need extra help! I'm off of school for the summer, so my weeks are pretty available. I have a lot of free time during the day and can stay overnight if your pets require it. I haven't gotten to go hiking as much as I hoped to this summer, so if you have pets who enjoy being outside I would love that! My dog is 15, so I've recently learned how to care for him as he loses some of his faculties. Both my parents are teachers, so I have been at home caring for him while they finish up the school year, so I have some valuable experience with older pets. To me, caring for pets means setting and upholding boundaries while maintaining a loving environment and being attentive to the pets needs.

“Upon Juno & I's initial meeting with Caleb, I knew I had picked the right dog walker. Just as the breed description, Juno jumped and nipped Caleb upon the first meeting and Caleb wasn't phased. We then walked Juno together so Caleb could get to know the neighborhood. Once we were on vacation, Caleb got Juno well in hand and I received reports from my mother about how wonderful Caleb was with Juno, he got Juno well in hand and provided further training. He is a better dog overall with Caleb walking him!”

Rachel A.
“Rachel stayed at my place to watch my dog Daisy for 3 days/2 nights while we were out of town. Daisy took to Rachel right away, which was a comforting sign for me. Rachel's kind, attentive, and sweet demeanor helped both me and my dog relax! I would certainly recommend Rachel for your pet care needs.”

Grady E.
“I've had the pleasure of seeing Grady interact with his own dog, my dog, and several others over the years, and I can honestly say he has a natural connection with animals. He’s incredibly patient, kind, and fully present when he's with dogs—whether he's out walking them, playing fetch, or just sitting with them and giving them attention. Grady cared for his own dog with so much love, especially as he got older and needed more hands-on care. I've trusted him with my own dog multiple times and always felt completely confident that my pup was in great hands. Dogs seem to instantly feel comfortable around him, and it's clear that being with them genuinely brings him joy. If you're looking for someone dependable, gentle, and genuinely passionate about animals, Grady is your person.”
