“My puppy had a great time with Emmelin. Will definitely book again with her. She kept me updated all the time and I never had to worry about anything. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve been working in the pet care industry for 5 years, with hands on experience in doggy daycare, training, animal shelters, and some vet assisting. I currently work at Coco’s Cupboard and spend most of my time around dogs with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and quirks. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need a little extra patience or understanding, including nervous or behavioral pups. I also frequently foster both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m used to adapting to different needs, routines, and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own with their own unique personalities, so I know how important it is to find someone who truly understands your pet. Caring for animals has always been more than just a job for me. It’s something I genuinely love. Whether your dog enjoys playtime and adventure or prefers a calm, laid back day with lots of cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet sitting is my side gig, and since I work locally, I’m usually pretty available throughout the week. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily work around any obstacles that pop up. Even when I’m working, I get good breaks and have a supportive employer who understands my pet sitting commitments—making it easy to balance both! I am a huge rule follower, and I am very extremely detail oriented, I will make sure to keep the owner updated as much as they would like for their comfort and for the safety of their pet. I am very comfortable approaching new animals and do well with gaining their trust. I will also provide photos and open communication by request of the owner. I do need 1 hour in the morning and 1 in the evening to check in on my own pets, but I like to call that “quiet time” for the furry friends I am watching!

“My first experience with the Rover app couldn’t have been better! I truly hit the gold mine finding Robyn to care for my Yorkie, Molly, during my 8 day cruise. Robyn was quick to respond and even allowed a preliminary visit to get to know her and her home. To say that Robyn is literally the sweetest person is quite an understatement! She is an absolute gem and I seriously felt like I won the dog sitter lottery! After being new to the area and being nervous about this experience, I knew instantly that Molly was in good hands! Molly quickly took to her and was spoiled beyond belief during her time there. I received pictures and updates regularly and I know Molly had the best time ever. It’s easy to say that I’ve met a new friend as well with Robyn. She will certainly be the first schedule, hands down, that I look at when having to find another sitter. Thanks Robyn! You’re the best and we already can’t wait to see you again!”

“Julie was great. My dog Mason was very happy and comfortable with her. I received updates regularly and loved the video of the dogs playing together. She is definitely a great selection for boarding your pet. Our dog was on vacation for the two days he stayed at her home. Thank you again, Julie, for taking great care of my baby.”

“Kaylie took great care of Rocky while on family vacation. I'm so glad we found her on rover.com. We considered doing a doggie hotel and knew that Rocky probably would not thrive in that environment because he requires special attention. Kaylie provided all the attention he needed. She updated us every day to ensure us that our pup was in good hands. I will certainly use her again!!”

“Aja was amazing! She gave my pup so much love and stuck to her schedule perfectly. She was always prompt with updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the care she provided! Would recommend and plan to go back!!”

“Maceo is fabulous! He sent lots of photos of my pups having a BLAST! Maceo is knowledgeable about dogs so I felt very comfortable with him and that he could manage my energetic pup! Will definitely book again!”

“Denise was amazing and took great care of our dog. He’s never been boarded before or away from family so we were nervous he’d be stressed out. Denise sent pictures everyday of him having so much fun. We will definitely use her again for our next trip.”

“When we met Karla for the first time, we could immediately tell how warm and loving she was towards our sweet senior pup. She took great care of him (and all his special needs including blindness and diabetes). We are so happy to have found her!”

“Naomi took very good care of my baby even with it being last minute booking. She even catered to him to be sure he didn’t have any anxiety and provided updates and pictures while I was away. I will definitely book again! Thank you Naomi!!”

“Yan and her family did an amazing job with Jakota. Jakota is 11 yrs old and blind and they managed to make her feel safe and loved in their home. While away on vacation, we received multiple updates and photos which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby as if she was your own. JF”
“This was my first time using Rover and leaving my fur baby to a complete stranger. Rover provided information about the sittier that relieved some of my anxiety. Robin was a life saver. She was able to board Noah with short notice. She took great care of my fur baby”

“Rebecca was a great sitter for my dog Barney and will definitely use her again. I had a last minute weekend request and Rebecca responded extremely quickly, answering questions I had and even providing a photo of her fenced yard before booking. While Barney was staying with her I got lots of updates and photos/videos of his time there. He settled in quickly with her beautiful dog Moose and it seemed like they had lots of fun!”

I prepare the meals as instructed and will house your baby inside a playpen.
“Fabiola was incredibly thoughtful and so wonderful and caring to Kenji. This was our first trip being away for 8 days and we have complete peace of mind. Kenji had so much fun playing with her dog, Nacho, and they quickly became friends. Fabiola checked in with us daily with sweet videos and adjusted well. Kenji is looking forward to his next visit! :)”

“Arlene was truly one of the most attentive sitters Beau has ever had. She kept us updated with daily photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Beau was happy, well cared for, and getting lots of attention. We would absolutely book with her again!”

About: Hi! I'm a stay-at-home mom with a house full of love (and fur). We share our home with two pups, a cat (& a toddler), so I'm comfortable with several animals in my home at once 😄. With managing a busy home juggling everyone's routines (pups, cat, kiddo, and daddy's night shift all included), I've gotten pretty good at patience, consistency, and keeping balance between different temperaments. I have a pup with allergies — special diet, skin care, allergy meds — so if your pup has specific needs (like that or otherwise), no worries here. Your pup will get regular walks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles (if they want) while they are here for their Pup Sleepover or Playdate. I'm home most days, flexible, and happy to send photo updates so you can see your pup is happy and well cared for. I am a SAHM so my schedule is relatively flexible. Im available most days (including weekends) and some holidays. Kiddo's naptime is 1pm-3pm but can be shifted for pickups/drop-offs if necessary. I prefer pickups/ drop-offs to between 8am and 7pm so they don't interfere with the kiddo's nighttime schedule. I live on two acres on a dead end street (not currently fenced in but looking to remedy this soon). so there is plenty of space to roam and walk or play well away from the street. I also live close to a dog park that I frequent and would be more than willing to take your pup there for some fenced in running around :) I have 2 very dog friendly fur babies of my own so your pup(s) would always have another doggo to pal around with. But if socialization is hard for your pup I can accommodate that as well.

We had not boarded or used a caregiver for our three year old mini Goldendoodle, Buddie, and were very worried about doing so. We couldn’t take Buddie on our recent trip which necessitated finding someone to care for our girl. Through research we found Leidy on Rover.com and all our worries were put to rest. Leidy is a compassionate and very giving caregiver. Right from the start, Buddie was at home with her. She took to Leidy immediately, as did we. Leidy sent us updates, photos and videos several times a day so that we would know that our girl was doing well, which she was. We were so grateful for Leidy’s constant care and concern for Buddie. She is an excellent caregiver and we would not hesitate to use her services again and/or recommend her to our family and friends. She’s the best! And, is Buddie’s new best friend! Thank you so much for all you did, Leidy. We truly appreciate you.

I did a meet and greet with rebecca to meet her with my pups and she has a really nice set up in our house. It’s clean. It’s safe. It’s got hardwood floors. No fence in yard, but she did say that she would take the dogs for multiple walks during the day to get . She’s lots of nice places for pups to rest and also toys for them to play with. Meet and greet went well and she also has a cute pup that got along with my dogs. I went ahead with a booking and the first day. Rebecca was really wonderful at sending pictures and videos of all the fun times they were having together. She was also very quick to ask questions if there were any. Unfortunately, my puppy had an upset tummy from a true bone and ended up having an accident in the crate and it was all a little overwhelming and so I ended up having to cut the visit short and find another sitter just for the rest of the time that was needed. She was very good at communicating and making sure we found a good fit for my dogs. I appreciate her concern and also the care that she gave, and I feel awful that she had a sleepless night. I think ultimate in the end my pups are just not a good fit as they are high energy and can sometimes get excited over things on walks. I would definitely go over details and leave instructions, which I didn’t. She found very helpful about any quirks for your pups. I would also make sure what other commitments the sitter has at that time to make sure if there are other dogs or other pets that will be staying there during the duration of your stay and if she has other commitments during that time in case your pups need more attention. I know one of my dogs is very shy, and there was a dog that was booked during the day which I didn’t know about and if I had known, I would’ve booked someone else that didn’t have because I know that would’ve stressed my dog out.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
