“Julie did such a great job with our pup!! We had never left him with anyone overnight and were afraid he might not do well, but he did great. Julie’s communication was great and she put our worries at ease. It is obvious that she and her family love dogs and treat them like they are their own!”

“My puppy had a great time with Emmelin. Will definitely book again with her. She kept me updated all the time and I never had to worry about anything. Thank you again!”

“Aja was amazing! She gave my pup so much love and stuck to her schedule perfectly. She was always prompt with updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the care she provided! Would recommend and plan to go back!!”

“When we met Karla for the first time, we could immediately tell how warm and loving she was towards our sweet senior pup. She took great care of him (and all his special needs including blindness and diabetes). We are so happy to have found her!”

“Maceo spoils Bella when she’s with him & misses her when she’s away. He really treats Bella as a member of his family & that makes me feel so happy! I never worry when she’s with him. Maceo is also very accommodating & flexible which is very helpful with my busy schedule.”

“Naomi was such a joy to have watch our dog Milo! She was so sweet with Milo and he had a great time at her home! She is organized, super kind, understanding, and very workable. She sent pictures to us daily of Milo which was so nice! She kept him safe and healthy. We are so grateful for her and look forward to having her sit Milo for us in the future! ❤️”

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10 years old. I had the privilege of caring for two wonderful dogs from the time they were puppies until they reached 16 and 17 years old, which gave me firsthand experience with every stage of a dog’s life—from playful puppy years to the extra patience and attention senior dogs need. Over the years, I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs during weekends and trips, but my greatest experience comes from being a full-time dog mom to my adult Shih Tzu, Bibi. Bibi thrives on routine, so his meals, medications, walks, and daily schedule are always a priority in our home. Bibi has taught us how important it is to make a dog feel like a true member of the family. Bibi comes almost everywhere with us and is rarely left alone, so I understand how much comfort, companionship, consistency, and affection can mean to a dog. When caring for your pup, I’ll treat them with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. Whether they need a structured routine, medication, extra attention, senior care, or simply lots of company and affection, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. 🐾 Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. As a full-time dog mom to my Shih Tzu, Bibi, my days are built around his feeding schedule, medications, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. He loves being around people and is included in most of our daily activities, so caring for a dog never feels like an added task—it’s simply part of our lifestyle. Because I’m already used to maintaining a consistent routine, I’m happy to adapt my schedule to your dog’s individual needs, whether that means specific meal times, walks, medications, potty breaks, or extra attention and cuddles. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I make it a priority to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, medications, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. I also have multiple dog parks within walking distance of my home, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, walks, and playtime depending on each dog’s needs and energy level. My Shih Tzu, Bibi, is a big part of our family and has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and making dogs feel included and comfortable. My goal is for every dog staying with me to feel safe, cared for, and truly at home while their family is away.
“Robin was an extraordinary pet sitter to my babies! She was very knowledgeable, patient and observant. She provided great updates and even provided them a report card lol... which I thought was super cute. She very communicative which helped me tremendously because I always worry about my babies but she kept me well informed and I didn't stress at all. Thanks so much Robin for being willing to keep my fur babies! I truly appreciate the peace and calm you provided knowing they were in good hands.”

“Emily was communicative and accommodating! I left both of my pups with her for the first time and she kept a a close eye on them and gave them plenty of exercise. I will definitely be requesting Emily again!”

“This is our dog’s second stay with Surereal. He loves being with her and her sweet girl, Jewel. She sends updates and is so attentive to his needs. We will continue to book with her when we are away!”

“V-Cats took such good care of my dog!! Every day I was sent multiple updates, and I could tell she was constantly on top of things. Ferris has separation anxiety so there’s no doubt V-Cats had a lot of patience for him, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much!!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brittany K. was amazing! She was available to watch Rocco over the busy 4th of July holiday, which we really appreciated. She kept us informed throughout his stay, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. This was our first time using Rover and Rocco’s first time staying with someone outside our home, so we were naturally a little nervous. Brittany made the entire experience easy and stress-free. We could tell Rocco was well cared for and happy. We will definitely be using her again. Highly recommend!”

“Sebastian and his family were incredibly welcoming and kind! They provided my doggy with the best care! So many cuddles, walks, belly rubs he was very happy. He sent me lots of updates throughout the day and kept up with his schedule (feeding and potty) 10/10 experience, I will definitely be coming back!!! 💗💗”

“I want to thank Tenisha and Eric Tidwell for loving my Harley this past week, their home and the love they have for my Harley is wonderful, they are truly FAMILY!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Arlene was truly one of the most attentive sitters Beau has ever had. She kept us updated with daily photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Beau was happy, well cared for, and getting lots of attention. We would absolutely book with her again!”

“Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our Gordo! She sent pictures and videos multiple times a day and kept us up-to-date on how he was doing. He really got the royal treatment with lots of cuddles and treats. She even bathed him for us before pickup because he played in the mud. We will be going to Rebecca every time we need somebody to watch Gordo!”

Andrea is an excellent dog sitter! More than that she’s a kind person who goes above and beyond expected. I always feel peace dropping off my fur baby knowing she’s in good hands. I get daily updates that include pictures, which always leave me feeling at ease! Rest assured if you choose to leave your fur baby with Andrea they will be well taken care of!

Kelly and Ron were fantastic with our two dogs. From the start they were clearly trustworthy and responsible. It was the first time we used them but felt completely at ease leaving our pups in their care. They kept us updated regularly, sent photos, and always asked thoughtful questions to make sure everything was just right. They made sure the dogs were well-fed, comfortable, and completely at home, and showed them so much love and affection the whole time! We’ll definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!

Yan and her family did an amazing job with Jakota. Jakota is 11 yrs old and blind and they managed to make her feel safe and loved in their home. While away on vacation, we received multiple updates and photos which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby as if she was your own. JF
We had not boarded or used a caregiver for our three year old mini Goldendoodle, Buddie, and were very worried about doing so. We couldn’t take Buddie on our recent trip which necessitated finding someone to care for our girl. Through research we found Leidy on Rover.com and all our worries were put to rest. Leidy is a compassionate and very giving caregiver. Right from the start, Buddie was at home with her. She took to Leidy immediately, as did we. Leidy sent us updates, photos and videos several times a day so that we would know that our girl was doing well, which she was. We were so grateful for Leidy’s constant care and concern for Buddie. She is an excellent caregiver and we would not hesitate to use her services again and/or recommend her to our family and friends. She’s the best! And, is Buddie’s new best friend! Thank you so much for all you did, Leidy. We truly appreciate you.

I did a meet and greet with rebecca to meet her with my pups and she has a really nice set up in our house. It’s clean. It’s safe. It’s got hardwood floors. No fence in yard, but she did say that she would take the dogs for multiple walks during the day to get . She’s lots of nice places for pups to rest and also toys for them to play with. Meet and greet went well and she also has a cute pup that got along with my dogs. I went ahead with a booking and the first day. Rebecca was really wonderful at sending pictures and videos of all the fun times they were having together. She was also very quick to ask questions if there were any. Unfortunately, my puppy had an upset tummy from a true bone and ended up having an accident in the crate and it was all a little overwhelming and so I ended up having to cut the visit short and find another sitter just for the rest of the time that was needed. She was very good at communicating and making sure we found a good fit for my dogs. I appreciate her concern and also the care that she gave, and I feel awful that she had a sleepless night. I think ultimate in the end my pups are just not a good fit as they are high energy and can sometimes get excited over things on walks. I would definitely go over details and leave instructions, which I didn’t. She found very helpful about any quirks for your pups. I would also make sure what other commitments the sitter has at that time to make sure if there are other dogs or other pets that will be staying there during the duration of your stay and if she has other commitments during that time in case your pups need more attention. I know one of my dogs is very shy, and there was a dog that was booked during the day which I didn’t know about and if I had known, I would’ve booked someone else that didn’t have because I know that would’ve stressed my dog out.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
