“I found Aimee on Rover at the last minute. I’m grateful she was available during a holiday weekend. She was very accommodating with scheduling a meet and greet and very detail of how she did things and each day would go. I was nervous because that was my very first time leaving my dog with a stranger but she sent pictures and updates daily which allowed me to enjoy my trip without worrying. Pooch seemed to have enjoyed his stay along with other doggy friends that were there. I will definitely reserve a stay with Amiee in the future and highly recommend her to others. Thanks again Amiee”

“Julie was so awesome! Sent regular pictures and made sure to take care of our dog. She was easy to communicate with and coordinate. The backyard was fenced and perfect for our dog to play. Thanks Julie!”

“Naomi was such a joy to have watch our dog Milo! She was so sweet with Milo and he had a great time at her home! She is organized, super kind, understanding, and very workable. She sent pictures to us daily of Milo which was so nice! She kept him safe and healthy. We are so grateful for her and look forward to having her sit Milo for us in the future! ❤️”

“My first experience with the Rover app couldn’t have been better! I truly hit the gold mine finding Robyn to care for my Yorkie, Molly, during my 8 day cruise. Robyn was quick to respond and even allowed a preliminary visit to get to know her and her home. To say that Robyn is literally the sweetest person is quite an understatement! She is an absolute gem and I seriously felt like I won the dog sitter lottery! After being new to the area and being nervous about this experience, I knew instantly that Molly was in good hands! Molly quickly took to her and was spoiled beyond belief during her time there. I received pictures and updates regularly and I know Molly had the best time ever. It’s easy to say that I’ve met a new friend as well with Robyn. She will certainly be the first schedule, hands down, that I look at when having to find another sitter. Thanks Robyn! You’re the best and we already can’t wait to see you again!”

About: I truly enjoy being outside and on the move — and that energy translates into how I care for pets. Your dog will get more than a quick walk; they’ll get fresh air, exercise, and one-on-one time with someone who loves keeping them happy and active. As a mom, I’m used to juggling schedules, staying active, and caring for others — and pet care fits right in! I’m looking for part-time work that I truly enjoy. Walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays fit perfectly into my daily routine. I’m flexible when it comes to where your pet feels most comfortable — whether that’s in your home or mine. Every pet and family has different needs, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule and setup to make things as easy as possible for you (and stress-free for your pet!).
“Ms Denise was absolutely wonderful with my fur baby, she sent pictures throughout her stay to insure me that my baby was fine in her care, I truly appreciate the care she showed my fur baby.”

About: I’ve been working in the pet care industry for 5 years, with hands on experience in doggy daycare, training, animal shelters, and some vet assisting. I currently work at Coco’s Cupboard and spend most of my time around dogs with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and quirks. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need a little extra patience or understanding, including nervous or behavioral pups. I also frequently foster both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m used to adapting to different needs, routines, and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own with their own unique personalities, so I know how important it is to find someone who truly understands your pet. Caring for animals has always been more than just a job for me. It’s something I genuinely love. Whether your dog enjoys playtime and adventure or prefers a calm, laid back day with lots of cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet sitting is my side gig, and since I work locally, I’m usually pretty available throughout the week. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily work around any obstacles that pop up. Even when I’m working, I get good breaks and have a supportive employer who understands my pet sitting commitments—making it easy to balance both! I am a huge rule follower, and I am very extremely detail oriented, I will make sure to keep the owner updated as much as they would like for their comfort and for the safety of their pet. I am very comfortable approaching new animals and do well with gaining their trust. I will also provide photos and open communication by request of the owner. I do need 1 hour in the morning and 1 in the evening to check in on my own pets, but I like to call that “quiet time” for the furry friends I am watching!
“My puppy had a great time with Emmelin. Will definitely book again with her. She kept me updated all the time and I never had to worry about anything. Thank you again!”

About: Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. Finding someone you trust with your dog is a big deal, and I’d love to provide a safe, happy place for them while you’re away. I’ve spent the past 7+ years caring for animals of all kinds from dogs and cats to birds and even reptiles so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and needs. I also have experience with basic dog training, which allows me to reinforce good habits and help dogs feel more settled and confident. Because I work from home, your dog will have consistent supervision and companionship throughout the day. My home is set up to be both safe and enriching, with a fully fenced yard for outdoor play. My own dog is well-trained, gentle, and friendly with others. Each stay includes a good balance of playtime, mental enrichment, and time to relax, so your dog feels comfortable and at home. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. I’d love to learn more about your dog and how I can make their stay the best possible! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I work from home. I like to start mornings slow with walks, feeding, and some playtime so dogs feel settled and comfortable right away. During the day, I balance attention, enrichment, and calm downtime so each dog can relax while I’m working. I try to follow their energy and needs, whether that’s more play or more rest. I stay close to home, so your dog will have consistent care, supervision, and a steady routine throughout their stay. I do my best to create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for every dog in my care. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood that’s great for walks. I have one friendly, well-trained dog who enjoys the company of other dogs, but I always make sure introductions are done thoughtfully and based on each dog’s comfort level. Inside, I keep a clean, dog-friendly space with comfortable beds, plenty of fresh water, and toys. I’m also able to crate dogs if needed, whether that’s part of their normal routine or helps them feel more secure. I pay close attention to each dog’s needs, energy level, and personality to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I also maintain a clean, healthy environment, and all pets in my home are up to date on vaccinations for everyone’s safety.
“Robin is understanding and patient. Cleo was properly attended to and well taken care of and I was happy to receive photos of her throughout the day during my trip. Thank you!”

“Yan and her family did an amazing job with Jakota. Jakota is 11 yrs old and blind and they managed to make her feel safe and loved in their home. While away on vacation, we received multiple updates and photos which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby as if she was your own. JF”
“Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our Gordo! She sent pictures and videos multiple times a day and kept us up-to-date on how he was doing. He really got the royal treatment with lots of cuddles and treats. She even bathed him for us before pickup because he played in the mud. We will be going to Rebecca every time we need somebody to watch Gordo!”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about Tenisha and Eric. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my little fur baby (Snowball) is in such good hands while being away… and we really appreciate the text messages, pictures, and videos you send showing my pet having a great time. They always take such amazing care of Snowball and he always look forward spending time with them… and their adorable Golden doodle, Simba. In the past, it was always hard to leave my pet in the hands of others, but I no longer have that concern because I know my pet is in good hands and getting all the love and attention they need. Thank you again for all that you do!”

“Arlene was truly one of the most attentive sitters Beau has ever had. She kept us updated with daily photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Beau was happy, well cared for, and getting lots of attention. We would absolutely book with her again!”

“V-Cats took such good care of my dog!! Every day I was sent multiple updates, and I could tell she was constantly on top of things. Ferris has separation anxiety so there’s no doubt V-Cats had a lot of patience for him, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much!!”

“My dog, Lola, and I immediately felt comfortable with Penny and Baron. Lola tends to be a bit anxious in various situations , but not at all when meeting this couple for the first time. Communication was great , they were flexible with Drop off and pick up times . Lola had a great time and I will definitely use them again.”

That’s why my promise to you is simple: I will treat your pet exactly like my own. I am incredibly blessed to live on over a full acre of land, giving your dog plenty of room to safely run, explore, and play to their heart's content. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Peachtree City
Kelly was amazing! She welcomed our quirky dog into her home and endured with hope through his 1-2 day adjustment period. After Charlie warmed to his new home, Kelly was able to interact more naturally, spending quality time outside in the garden, by the pool, and on the back porch with him. Charlie was determined to mark his territory in her den, and he refused to be leashed, so he was kept in the kitchen most of the week, understandably so. Charlie loves his veggies, and Kelly's garden provided some yummy snacks and treats for him! She was creative and determined to make sure Charlie felt loved and welcomed, even with his quirks and constraints. She sent pictures and videos regularly, helping us to feel secure that he was being loved and taken care of with excellence! I highly recommend Kelly and her husband Ronnie, who is also a big help to love on and care for the pets!!

We had not boarded or used a caregiver for our three year old mini Goldendoodle, Buddie, and were very worried about doing so. We couldn’t take Buddie on our recent trip which necessitated finding someone to care for our girl. Through research we found Leidy on Rover.com and all our worries were put to rest. Leidy is a compassionate and very giving caregiver. Right from the start, Buddie was at home with her. She took to Leidy immediately, as did we. Leidy sent us updates, photos and videos several times a day so that we would know that our girl was doing well, which she was. We were so grateful for Leidy’s constant care and concern for Buddie. She is an excellent caregiver and we would not hesitate to use her services again and/or recommend her to our family and friends. She’s the best! And, is Buddie’s new best friend! Thank you so much for all you did, Leidy. We truly appreciate you.

I did a meet and greet with rebecca to meet her with my pups and she has a really nice set up in our house. It’s clean. It’s safe. It’s got hardwood floors. No fence in yard, but she did say that she would take the dogs for multiple walks during the day to get . She’s lots of nice places for pups to rest and also toys for them to play with. Meet and greet went well and she also has a cute pup that got along with my dogs. I went ahead with a booking and the first day. Rebecca was really wonderful at sending pictures and videos of all the fun times they were having together. She was also very quick to ask questions if there were any. Unfortunately, my puppy had an upset tummy from a true bone and ended up having an accident in the crate and it was all a little overwhelming and so I ended up having to cut the visit short and find another sitter just for the rest of the time that was needed. She was very good at communicating and making sure we found a good fit for my dogs. I appreciate her concern and also the care that she gave, and I feel awful that she had a sleepless night. I think ultimate in the end my pups are just not a good fit as they are high energy and can sometimes get excited over things on walks. I would definitely go over details and leave instructions, which I didn’t. She found very helpful about any quirks for your pups. I would also make sure what other commitments the sitter has at that time to make sure if there are other dogs or other pets that will be staying there during the duration of your stay and if she has other commitments during that time in case your pups need more attention. I know one of my dogs is very shy, and there was a dog that was booked during the day which I didn’t know about and if I had known, I would’ve booked someone else that didn’t have because I know that would’ve stressed my dog out.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
