“I have boarded my dog with them several times before. They are the sweetest people and they love their dogs. My dog is so excited to go inside their house every time because he loves it there. I highly recommend boarding your dog there.”

“Amazing fur baby sitter- took such good care of my boy and provided pictures daily- she was very attentive to him and provided him with ample activity. She will definitely be my choice of sitter going forward for my pups.”

“I can’t recommend Stephan and Kelly enough. Their property is perfect for a dog of any size, and they regularly sent updates while watching our puppy. I can’t wait for Nash to visit again soon!”

“Tenisha and Eric were the answer to my prayer. My little fur baby, Snowball, is somewhat spoiled and I'm very particular about his caregiver. My wife and I generally take several extended vacations each year and, In the past, we have had to cancel or end our vacation plans early because Snowball would not eat, sleep, or interact with other pets at the boarding facility. We'll, we did not have that issue with Tenisha or Eric. From our initial meet and greet to our recent 8 days cruise vacation. Snowball, has been happy and full of life. The pictures and videos they sent daily of Snowball running and playing with Tenisha, Eric, and their adorable pet poodle Sybil were very reassuring. I even jokenly told my wife that I think he may prefer them over us. Needless to say, I highly recommend Tenisha and Eric as your preferred csretaker if you love your fur baby and want the peace of mind of knowing your pet is being professionally cared for in every way during your absence.”

“This was my first time using Rover and leaving my fur baby to a complete stranger. Rover provided information about the sittier that relieved some of my anxiety. Robin was a life saver. She was able to board Noah with short notice. She took great care of my fur baby”

“Amy was amazing with our Vannili. We have a 5yr old Staffordshire bull terrier we adopted six months ago. We wanted to take a family vacation but couldn’t take her. We thought about boarding her but no one would take her because of her breed and how she has slight dog aggression. So we got on rover.com and started looking for someone who didn’t have other animals. We came across Amy and did a meet and greet and she was great with her from the first moment. We were very comfortable leaving our baby with her. She sent us videos and pictures so that we knew she was happy and spoiled. In every video our Vanilli was smiling and so happy. Amy is an amazing dog sitter and will be our first choice in the future.”

“Brittany is an absolute joy!! She was extremely communicative and quick to answer any questions I had. Bao hasn’t stayed with anyone we don’t know but when I say as soon as I dropped him off she let him get comfortable even though he was anxious and can be mouthy, she was so confident everything would be fine, it put me at ease! Will be booking every time I’m in town 😍.”

“Denise was amazing and took great care of our dog. He’s never been boarded before or away from family so we were nervous he’d be stressed out. Denise sent pictures everyday of him having so much fun. We will definitely use her again for our next trip.”

“Emmelin was so great with my fur baby! Communicated daily with updates and pictures/videos. My dog had a great time with new friends too. So grateful to have a trusted person caring for her. Thank you so much Emmelin!!!”

“Jennifer watched my dog overnight. She asked all the right questions to get to know my dog and her schedule. She treated my dog like her own. I would recommend Jennifer for any pet sitting needs.”

“I booked with V last year for a last-minute trip. So this is a very late review, I promised V. She was excellent with Zeus, and very responsive and flexible with me. As a 5-star Rover sitter myself, V definitely did a good job in handling multiple dogs at once. I would definitely use her again!”

“This was the first our "Mac" stayed at another's home other than family. We were a little concerned at first but Mac was HAPPY as can be. Photos were sent daily so we could see how Mac was doing. He enjoyed being with another dog. Jess and Gianni were awesome to him and we will reach out again to them when we go on next trip.”

“I am very pleased with the love and care Monica gave Tucker. I was very nervous about leaving him anywhere because I never had, but he was happy and taken care of. She sent me pictures of him and I really did appreciate getting them!”

“Fabiola was incredibly thoughtful and so wonderful and caring to Kenji. This was our first trip being away for 8 days and we have complete peace of mind. Kenji had so much fun playing with her dog, Nacho, and they quickly became friends. Fabiola checked in with us daily with sweet videos and adjusted well. Kenji is looking forward to his next visit! :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
