“Grateful to have great care for my 2 dogs! Lauren gave us updates and pictures of them while we were away. Our flight didn't get in until late and she dropped the girls at our house so they'd be there when we got home. The best, thanks Lauren!!!”

“Trinise was great! Her communication was amazing it was our first time using a sitter and she made us feel comfortable and she is very nice. Definitely will be using her again!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Stephan and Kelly's home for my dog, Nudy. Nudy can be a bit challenging on a leash, but their home provided the ideal environment for him to roam freely. He was clearly very happy, and I loved receiving all the photos showing how comfortable he was. The thoughtful touch of a goody bag when we left was greatly appreciated. I’m already looking forward to booking with Stephan and Kelly again!”

“Ms.Jessica was absolutely the best. My pit/bully Bonnie was so comfortable. Ms. Jessica is the sweetest most professional person. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there. She sent pictures and videos. I will definitely be using her again and thank you Ms. Jessica.”

“Joshua was absolutely amazing with Mocha! From the moment I dropped her off, he communicated exceptionally well and kept me updated throughout her stay. He sent plenty of photos, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to see how much fun she was having. The best part? Mocha was so happy and comfortable with Joshua that she didn’t even want to leave when it was time to go home! That says everything about the care, attention, and love he gave her while she was away from me. I highly recommend Joshua to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 I loved it it’s a passion for me communicating to them is what I love the most Our daily routine consists of 6am wake up and morning potty. After potty we eat breakfast if fur baby schedule mirrors. After breakfast we have playtime with friends, such as ball, fetch and water sports if weather permits. After morning play which is about 11:30am-12n, another potty break. About 12:15-12:30 we go down for nap and wake up about 3pm. After naps there’s afternoon potty and playtime with individual one on one time. After afternoon play we have dinner and potty. Bedtime is normally between 8:00pm-8:30pm. I have a big gated fence we also leash fur babies when going on potty walks i also keep females and males separate in this act as well as size of breed separated.

“Can’t say enough good things about Tammy and her family for taking such good care of Thor. Communication was great, daily updates, and answered any and all concerns I had. Will only be booking with her from now on.”

“Loleatha is the best sitter! She took such good care of my pup June, and gave me daily updates and pictures so I knew how well she was looking after her. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Berniceaa did a FANTASTIC job with my Ginger. She put my mind at ease in the mist of not only this being the first time that my pup has been boarded but also since the weekend was so busy. I felt comfortable knowing that Ginger especially being so small had no issues with any other dogs as well as she got used to being around them. Berniceaa also was super sweet to have a Christmas present and even gave Ginger a bath before I picked her up. I will DEFINITELY rebook again with her as my daugther is a competition cheerleader and we travel often. Great job and we look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Canija was very accommodating to my needs as well as Athena’s. Kept in great communication and sent undates frequently. Athena seemed to really enjoy her stay with a Canija. Would recommend Canija to anyone as she has a very sweet personality and very caring towards dogs.”

“My first time using Rover was a grand experience thanks to Finesse. She was prompt for the booking and responded to my inquiries. She sent photos and videos of my pet. I was able to enjoy my trip will my fur baby was kindly cared for by Finesse. I recommend booking Finesse because I had a peace a mind the entire time away.”

“Courtney is amazing! She was gracious enough to accept a last-minute sit from me, and I’m so glad she did. She was very communicative, responsive, and took such great care of my boy. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Sydney agreed to watch my dog Bear last minute and did a great job! I was pretty worried because he can be moody and occasionally resource guard. Everything was ok though and we had no issues. I recommend :-)”

“I believe Koda came back an even better dog than when he left. He has been so much more well behaved since staying Dana and her family. We love that he was so well taken care of and will be repeat customers. I was so nervous about leaving him for that long period of time, but I now see that there is a great value with home dog sitters. Koda will never be boarded at the kennel again. The one on one time he had far exceeded our expectations. For a first time user of Rover, I must say this is an awesome site that offers awesome services for awesome prices. Thank you so much for caring for my fur baby like he was your own Dana!!!”

“Kira is an amazing pet sitter. I felt 100 percent confident in her ability to care for my babies. She provided daily updates and photos. She made my pets feel at home and calm. Thanks, Kira!”
“Debra is fantastic with our baby! He loves staying with her, and we never have to worry when he’s in her care. She treats him like family, and we feel so comfortable knowing he’s with Auntie Debrah. Highly recommend her!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
