About: What sets me apart from other sitters? For me, dogs aren’t just pets—they’re family. I truly believe in “soul dogs,” the once-in-a-lifetime companions who leave paw prints on our hearts forever. I feel incredibly lucky to share my life with two amazing dogs of my own: Dax, my gentle 110-pound giant, and Sandy, my spirited 23-pound sidekick. Living with dogs of very different sizes and personalities has taught me how every dog has unique needs, routines, and ways of communicating. What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and love I give every dog as if they were my own. Whether your pup is energetic and loves long walks and playtime, or prefers quiet companionship and belly rubs, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m attentive to routines, understand the importance of consistency, and believe that trust is earned through kindness and reliability. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your best friend is happy and well cared for. My goal isn’t just to watch your dog—it’s to become someone they’re excited to see again. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. My two dogs, Dax and Sandy, have consistent routines for feeding, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention, and I understand how important that consistency is for every dog. I work away from home Monday through Thursday, but I have a predictable schedule with consistent departure and return times. This allows me to provide reliable care and lets pet parents know exactly what to expect. On my days off, I spend most of my time at home, giving me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention. When your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of my family. My home is a safe, welcoming environment where they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervised play throughout the day. I have a securely fenced backyard where dogs can run, explore, play fetch, or simply relax in the sunshine. On warm days, I like to put out a small dog pool so pups can cool off and have a little extra fun. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers lounging outside and soaking up the fresh air, I’ll make sure they have an enjoyable stay. I know every dog has their own routine and personality, so I’ll do my best to follow their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. My goal is to provide a home away from home where your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away.
“Tavia was a perfect host!! She treated Luna like a queen. Luna loved her pets as well. I enjoyed getting videos and pictures everyday. She took her for walks and played outside with her too. Luna had a great time and we had peace of mind that she was well taken care of. We will definitely choose Tavia any time we travel now.”

About: I’ve looked after all kinds of animals! (And believe me I mean all kinds) I’ve been official in pet care for 5yrs, but my family has always trusted me as the official pet sitter due to my patience, responsibility, and compassion. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, and my genuine love for animals shows that. Whether they’re playful, senior, shy, or require extra attention, I care for every animal the way I’d want someone to care for my own—with kindness, respect, and lots of love. I am a part time CNA, so my schedule is completely up to me! I love being in healthcare, but my real passion is pets! My schedule is always open unless I say otherwise! (I will always inform a client in advance about my plans) I provide warm, loving, and dependable home for pets of all kinds. I live in a family oriented neighborhood with plenty of space in the house, as well as a large front and partially fenced back yard! (And a large deck for those who love to sun bathe!) My neighborhood also forms a circle great for walks on a leash! I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, needs, and routine so they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, medication, or simply offering companionship, I treat every pet like family. I’ll care for your home and your pets with the same kindness, patience, and respect I would want for my own. I also offer extra kennels, leashes, bowls, and toys for those who are in a rush and simply forget!

“I had a last minute sitter emergency for Zoey. I decided to contacted Myeshia T. on the Rover app. She was so nice and patient with me it was my first time. About: I care for every dog and cat as if they were part of my own family, giving them plenty of love, attention, and personalized care. From feeding and walks to playtime, cuddles, and following any special routines or instructions, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I'm dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to providing the same level of care and compassion that I'd want for my own pets. You can relax knowing your furry family members are in caring, capable hands. I’m currently working part time but I only work 3 days out of a week. I don’t have a set work schedule so I would say I’m pretty flexible. I have an open yard so it’s a great place for activities and exercise. I do have a crate at home if that is what’s needed.
“I love Jessica. I admit I was nervous leaving my Bugsy with a new dog sitter but she quickly put my mind at ease. Jessica is a DOG PERSON. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
