“Cathy took such good care of my dog and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She loves your dog like her own. I loved receiving pictures and updates from her while we were on vacation. She is a true caregiver and animal lover.”

About: I’ve had and cared for loved ones pets since I was a teenager. From walks, drop ins , sitting and baths. I am a certified dog trainer. I have two well behaved Cane Corsos that I bring for walks or training if needed. My schedule is currently opened and flexible. Additionally, I walk my dogs everyday which makes this perfect for me and your fur baby. I walk in misty or lite raining days also. I have a fenced in backyard, two fur babies myself that are well behaved, crates if needed. I make dog treats and have plenty of balls for playtime.
“Thank you Shashi for taking superb care of our senior pup Sunny! He came home happy and healthy. Shashi shared daily pics of Sunny enjoying his "vacation" and communicated updates on a regular basis. I was able to focus on my work tasks knowing Sunny was being well treated. I highly recommend Shashi's services and will be using her again in the future. Thank you, Shashi! 😁🐕”

“The perfect host. My husband said Saint enjoyed himself and Nicole said he was a good boy. I appreciate her more than she knows. Saint is a big dog. Most people are afraid of him due to his size but he’s a good dog and a people person. Thanks”

“John and his wife were amazing sitters for my dogs! At first my pup was nervous to be away from home and was very anxious to be in a new environment but they were able to comfort him and since his stay he’s been a lot more social and less growling at people so Thank you guys !! I highly recommend them!”

“Amazing sitter. I was looking for a sitter for my dog last minute around my area. She responded right away. She took the time to listen to me about my dogs needs. She was patient and kind to me and my dog son. I definitely recommend her and will be booking again. My boy had a blast with her and her fur babies Im so thankful I found her on Rover.”

“Patti was absolutely amazing! She took care of my dog for 10 days while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me updated with pictures and messages almost every day, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. I will definitely be using Patti again for future trips, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate to care for their fur babies. Thank you, Patti, for taking such wonderful care of my boy!”

“Joshua was a COMPLETE pleasure ! This was my first time leaving my fur baby with anyone (last minute at that) and he made sure Bruno was comfortable. I received updates throughout the day and he responded to messages quickly. I will definitely be using Joshua’s services again. Thank you !”

“Amazing service! Loving and caring of my pup. A little nervous doing this the first time because I always am with my dog and I didn’t know how my pup would react. Immediately when Jessica met Nyla She just wagged her tail and was happy, even though she was a complete stranger. (Trust never happens) I knew then this was the right choice! Highly recommend her services!”

“Our English Cream Golden was well loved and well taken care of by Joey and his family. Joey shared pictures and updates with us during Hopper’s stay and was so accommodating. We highly recommend Joey!”

About: I love being active and outdoors, dogs always have a special place in my heart. I am currently a veterinarian assistant and have been working with animals for over 7 years through the military. I have been trained on: first aid, grooming, hygiene, and care for all animals. Working with dogs of all sizes helps me better my skills so I can someday be a vetanarian and open my own hospital. I strongly believe that dogs are men best friend and should be treated with the best care and love. Running around with young and energetic dogs or walking and relaxing with older and relaxed dogs I love them both. And I look forward to having this great opertonity and experience with your dog. I work relief for a vet hospital but my availability is very flexible. I am able to take your pet out twice a day if needed. I have a fenced in back yard and a nice neighborhood where we are able to run and walk with our dogs. So there is plenty of space to play and relax.
“We had an excellent experience with Miriam and her husband! From the moment we dropped Maxx off, we knew he was in great hands. Their home was clean, welcoming, and they were both incredibly kind, nurturing, and attentive. They sent us daily pictures and updates, took Maxx on walks, fed him on his normal schedule, gave him a new toy, and even followed all of our sleeping instructions. They also have a huge fenced yard where he had plenty of room to run and play safely. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. We felt completely at ease while we were away, and it was obvious that Maxx had a wonderful time. We would absolutely trust Miriam with him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“Janii was fantastic! She communicated clearly, sent regular photo updates, and made me feel completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. I’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

“They did a great job taking care of my fur baby, Willow! I love the updates of photos and videos without having to ask for updates! I highly recommend and will be booking for future services.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
