About: I love being active and outdoors, dogs always have a special place in my heart. I am currently a veterinarian assistant and have been working with animals for over 7 years through the military. I have been trained on: first aid, grooming, hygiene, and care for all animals. Working with dogs of all sizes helps me better my skills so I can someday be a vetanarian and open my own hospital. I strongly believe that dogs are men best friend and should be treated with the best care and love. Running around with young and energetic dogs or walking and relaxing with older and relaxed dogs I love them both. And I look forward to having this great opertonity and experience with your dog. I work relief for a vet hospital but my availability is very flexible. I am able to take your pet out twice a day if needed. I have a fenced in back yard and a nice neighborhood where we are able to run and walk with our dogs. So there is plenty of space to play and relax.
About: I had a dog most of my childhood and when my daughter was younger. I’ve had a dog in my house when my daughter moved back. I’m available 7 days a week currently. We take walks three times a day. A cage is not necessary but is recommended in case their first night in new surroundings is hard. Doggy beds are a must and poop bags also. We try to keep a clean neighborhood. My daughter has a very friendly small dog that gets along great with other dogs. Yard is currently not fenced but is working on making that happen.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Andrea! She took such great care of my dog, Diamond, and went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and loved while I was away. Andrea sent regular updates and photos, which really helped ease my mind. It was clear that Diamond was happy, relaxed, and enjoying her time. Andrea treated her like one of her own. When I picked Diamond up, she was calm, content, and well cared for — a huge relief! Andrea is warm, professional, and clearly has a true love for animals. I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog sitter!”

“Our 2 goofy, big golden doodles always enjoy their time with Josh & Kerith. Getting photos of them playing is a nice little bonus, too! I know they are so excited to go there, but I’m happy when we pick them up - mainly because I always miss them. But, I never worry about them when they are with Josh & Kerith, because I know they are very well cared for!”

“Emmy, our 2 year old Boston, had so much fun at Joshua’s place. She felt safe and loved even though she can be a bit energetic. She made friends and loved all the fetch time she got. We will use Josh in the future.”

“Nicole was wonderful! She has the same breed of pups that I have which was really a coincidence. She met us at a dog park to meet the pups and asked questions about them to better understand their temperament, feeding schedule and any questions or concerns I had. She sent me daily updates about what the pups were up to, and any new friends they met during their stay. They seemed to be having a blast! Luna (my little one with separation anxiety) sat right by Nicole (on her desk) while she worked so I know her calm demeanor really helped her get comfortable and feel safe with her. They came home happy and tired. Nicole will definitely be our go to when we need a pup sitter! Highly recommend ☺️”
“Absolutely wonderful experience! Joshua took amazing care of my dogs while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, and my dogs looked so happy and comfortable. I couldn’t have ask for more!”

“Daphne was great with our baby Brix! She helped ease our anxiety of leaving him with a stranger and he quickly made himself at home. She sent many updates including pictures and videos. Will definitely book again!”

“Jacalyn is absolutely wonderful! We were away for 4 days, and she took care of our dog, Harley, as if she were her own. She was incredibly communicative and sent regular pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Harley was happy, healthy, and perfectly cared for when we returned. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter!”

“Olivia was amazing with my dogs!! They were so comfortable in her home. One of my dogs didn't seem to want to leave. She kept running to go back inside to play with Olivia's other dogs. I received daily photos and a brief update 2x per day. My dogs are 50 & 70lbs respectively, friendly & protective but not very well socialized with other dogs. Olivia handled them well. They took to her dogs right away. It took a full day for them to get used to Jake but then they were like old friends. They were very excited at first but quickly calmed down and within an hour were relaxing and napping. Olivia has an area where she can separate the dogs if & when needed. They couldnt get enough of her little dog Charlotte. My dogs were walked everyday and given plenty of outside time. Olivia has 3 acres of land and a fenced backyard (need I say more). They were fed accordingly, plenty of water, and well taken care of. I was tickled to see them cuddling on the couch with Olivia & using her as a pillow like they do with me at home. They truly were on vacation too. I returned to 2 happy healthy CLEAN dogs with no signs of anxiety and I will be booking again & again. Thanks 4 taking such great care of my girls.”

“Jalil is the best. He took my fur baby on hikes & sent photos while he boarded him overnight. I was a nervous wreck but i fully trusted his expertise & I can tell he is passionate about what he does. No regrets & I can’t wait to continue working with him. Smokey loves his new friend!”

“Trinise was great! Her communication was amazing it was our first time using a sitter and she made us feel comfortable and she is very nice. Definitely will be using her again!”

“Absolutely 5 stars x 10!! Not only was Patti able to accommodate us very last minute, she is beyond amazing and truly loves and cares for the pups. I am not exaggerating when I say, my dog did not want to leave and was staring out the window of the car so sad, and when we got home, he is still sad for the 2nd day. I can’t believe it. He is totally spoiled here, but he absolutely loved it with her!!! She is an hour away from us, and we absolutely will be boarding with her if needed, the drive is worth it!”

“I had a great experience boarding my puppy, Pilot! Veronica took amazing care of him and made me feel completely at ease. She kept me updated, and I could tell he was in good hands the entire time. When I picked him up, he was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend her!”

She makes sure that my pup is comfy and gets all the rubs that she wants, and as an owner, she always reassures me that everything is great and handled. She makes traveling a breeze!”

“Thanks for take such good care of my furbaby. Krystale was great and gave me daily update on Kobe. She was very informative of Kobes day and when we picked up he was happy. Thanks Kystale”

“Nacho had a freaking ball! He was super happy to see me when I came to get him but kinda torn because he had so much fun with Denise and the other pups. lol. That’s exactly how it should be when I pick him up. Denise gave my baby lots of love and Nacho made himself right at home. Communication with me was also great. Nacho will be back for sure! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Porterdale
I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch Bentley! He treated him like one of his own, keeping me updated with photos and messages so I knew he was happy and well cared for. Bentley came home his usual happy, snuggly self and maybe even a little spoiled from all the love and attention. I could tell he was comfortable and safe the entire time. I’d trust Joshua with Bentley again in a heartbeat

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
