About: Hi! My name is Kherris and I would love to be your pet’s new best friend! I am a special education paraprofessional for Henry county schools and a mom to 4 kids, their ages range from 12 years old to 7 years old. I have a leopard gecko(zenitsu), can crested gecko(Sanji), and also have an Italian Greyhound named Evie, who is a sweetheart but can/will be crated when needed. Of course dogs and kids will be supervised at all times during their interactions by me and my husband. I am an animal lover, I have been known as the “animal whisperer” amongst family, and I make sure I’m update on the latest issues/improvements in the animal world. I hope that you and your pet will come to enjoy staying in my humble abode and we become best of furrends! I work full time as a paraprofessional generally between 7-3pm, but I get plenty of breaks during the school year and summer break. During the school year I can do drop-ins and walks after work. I have a fenced in yard, and an additional crate to keep pets secured during times where supervision is limited. I generally keep pets within my sight, including my own.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since childhood. My beloved companion has been with me for almost eight years now, and she’s my entire world. I care for all pets, whether it’s a cat, a dog as if they were my own. I’m always eager to learn and expand my knowledge to better understand and assist others in any way I can. I have a part time job however that doesn’t interfere with making sure my own fur babies are taken care of. In the morning I make sure the are let out and feed and at night they are feed and tucked in for bed. I have a fenced in yard and a big yard. However one of my dogs is reactive and get very protective over her space and things.

I also dog sit on my own time at home before using rover for my friends and family. Whether you need me short term or long term I’m here just shoot me a message and I’ll be ready to help with your furbaby As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits perfectly and naturally into my daily routine! My schedule is highly flexible on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, allowing me to easily step away for drop-in visits whenever your pup needs me. Taking a break to get outside for a walk or head over for a playtime session fits right into my flow, meaning your dog will always get my full attention exactly when they expect it. I provide an attentive environment where your dog will feel right at home. While I do not have a fenced yard, your pup will never lack exercise or fresh air! I naturally take dogs out for 3 to 5 walks every day to ensure they get plenty of outdoor time, sniff breaks, and potty stops. During my drop-in visits, your fur baby will get a fun outdoor walk, plenty of indoor playtime, fresh water, scheduled feedings, and tons of belly rubs. Plus, I'll always send you cute photo updates from every single visit so you can see how much fun we're having!

About: I've always been a lover of all animals especially fur babies. They hold a special place in my heart ever since I was younger, volunteering every chance I get at the local shelters while growing up and also into adulthood, donating, fundraising, cleaning up wherever I was needed afterschool before heading home for the day. That's when I vowed to have all my pets as rescues. And encouraged my family and friends to do the same, and they did without hesitation because they know the good it did for the shelters ,plus I feel like rescue pets are the sweetest if i do say so myself. I'm hoping to have an opportunity to care for your furbabies also, and treat them as my own. Thank you for your time. Semper Fi! I currently work from home so my time is very flexible to have more time with your fur baby! I have extra hands to help in being a rover team member to help with the sweet fur babies out there. I have a lot of yard space even though it’s not fenced , there’s a lot of outside to explore. I have 2 fur baby’s to keep company also. A sr dog and a new adopted pup!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes for more than 20 years. I see my own dogs as family, not just an animal to take care of. My goal is to always find the dog in the situation I am in, and befriend and spoil with snuggles and belly rubs. I have informal puppy training, meaning I did the training myself rather than taking a class. I have experience administering injections and giving pills. My goal is to make sure your pet remains as happy as possible while you are away to make it feel as if you never left home. Your pets care will always fit into my daily routine. I work in the school system so I am currently off for the summer, meaning once I drop my son off at daycare, I am open to your fur babies from 8a-5p Mon-Fri and all day on saturday and sunday. I treat your pets the same way I treat mine. (with respect to your household rules). I make sure my dogs eat twice a day and have fresh water daily. We have a fenced in yard so they get unlimited outside time as they wish, and will make sure that yours gets the same whenever I am at your home. I will make sure your pet gets their daily exercise, play and snuggles (and treats if you allow me to) to ensure they are comfortable while you are away.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. 3 years ago I started pet sitting for other families and have a ton of experience looking after cats and small dogs. I currently work full time as an Urban Designer and am available mornings and evenings on the weekdays. On the weekends I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. My main priority as a pet sitter is to make sure that your pets are happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. I know that it can be stressful for them when their family is away. Comfortability and communication are very important to me and I strive to provide a great experience for the pets and pet owners.

About: Who let the dogs out?? I do!! Would love the opportunity to earn your trust and business watching, playing, and spoiling your sweet babies. More about me: I have 3 dogs of my own. I have been around animals my entire life. When I was younger a lot of local neighbors relied on me to watch there pets and houses, and it’s just always been something I enjoyed since then. I absolutely love all types of animals, and would love to get to know yours. My wife and I are both on Rover and we truly enjoy this opportunity! I recently closed my local business and with my entrepreneurial heart, this fits my personality and my schedule perfect. I am available for a lot of different options and times. Contact me for more information! My biggest concern is treating your babies the same as if you were there. I want to be sure to provide love, care, and security that makes them as comfortable as possible. My personal dogs sleep with us every night, are always kept inside and even have their own doggie door to go in and out as they please. In other words, their spoiled rotten! Lol With your permission, I’d treat yours the same!

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
