Experienced and Loving Pet Sitter Available for Your Furry Friend Hi, I’m Kelly, an avid dog lover with 40 years of experience caring for dogs and cats and even cockatiels and parakeets. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, or just a cuddle, I'm here to provide the best care while you're away. I am also licensed and insured. I enjoy caring for your dogs up to 30 lbs in my home and treating them like my own granddogs. I have a large fenced yard plus 3 acres to explore on leash. If your baby enjoys the golf cart, then rides around the lake are fun too. I provide drop ins and house sitting for larger dogs and cats. If you’re just in need of someone to get your pup out of the house for a walk, I can do short walks or longer up to 3.5 miles for larger breeds. Kelly and Ron were fantastic with our two dogs. From the start they were clearly trustworthy and responsible. It was the first time we used them but felt completely at ease leaving our pups in their care. They kept us updated regularly, sent photos, and always asked thoughtful questions to make sure everything was just right. They made sure the dogs were well-fed, comfortable, and completely at home, and showed them so much love and affection the whole time! We’ll definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!

We were headed out of state on vacation and Kelly and Ronnie were booked in an emergency when the pet sitter that was scheduled fell through. They had no prior experience with either of my dogs and just brief knowledge that they were both rescued from abusive situations. My boy dog warmed up to them immediately during out meet and greet but he is a very friendly dog so that was not unusual. My girl dog loved Ronnie but was apprehensive of Kelly at first. We discussed what a normal day looked like for the dogs and what a normal day looked like for Kelly and Ronnie. We agreed and they were hired. Ronnie stayed overnight with the dogs since my girl was apprehensive of Kelly but Kelly came every day at noon to play.with them. The first few days my girl didn't do much but baek at Kelly. After day three my girl sat next to Kelly and offered her hand to shake and they were friends since then. We received photos and great communication with both Ronnie and Kelly daily. The dogs got daily exercise in the backyard (we requested no walks because they are big dogs and I didn't want them to get away), and plenty of treats and love from them both. We felt so grateful and fortunate to have Kelly and Ronnie here to look after our fur babies. They were so happy while we were gone and calm when we arrived home. OH!! And our home was just as clean as we left it when we returned!! They offered to water our plants and our outdoor area for us, and take out our trash! We came home to a clean home and happy pups. We will always use Kelly and Ronnie for future trips!
Kelly is always on time and does not rush the drop in. She is also very quick to respond to my requests. I get updates on how the drop went with photos. We are very happy with Kelly!
I feel like Lucy was spoiled so perfectly! Each day we came, Lucy scrambled to get out of the car and run up to the front door as fast as she could. Not only did Lucy enjoy going there, we feel like we made life-long friends! What a blessing to find this wonderful couple!
Kelly was amazing! She welcomed our quirky dog into her home and endured with hope through his 1-2 day adjustment period. After Charlie warmed to his new home, Kelly was able to interact more naturally, spending quality time outside in the garden, by the pool, and on the back porch with him. Charlie was determined to mark his territory in her den, and he refused to be leashed, so he was kept in the kitchen most of the week, understandably so. Charlie loves his veggies, and Kelly's garden provided some yummy snacks and treats for him! She was creative and determined to make sure Charlie felt loved and welcomed, even with his quirks and constraints. She sent pictures and videos regularly, helping us to feel secure that he was being loved and taken care of with excellence! I highly recommend Kelly and her husband Ronnie, who is also a big help to love on and care for the pets!!

Schedule
I am available week days and weekends and will do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when possible. My husband is retired and usually home to spend time with your fur babies as well.

A typical day
There’s plenty of room at my place for fetch, tug o war, walking the property or just snuggling on the couch. Morning and evening golf cart rides are most enjoyable. Enrichment activities may include lick mats, snuffle mats, sniff work, puzzles, frozen treats from my garden
