“BOOK HER☺️ my little old dog can be really particular and hard to deal with but Emmelin is so patient and sweet with him! I truly don’t know what we would do without her doggy daycare. Has made a massive difference in my dogs being so much happier now. No matter what service you need with your dog she will take the best care of them 🩵 so grateful to have her!”

“I feel like Lucy was spoiled so perfectly! Each day we came, Lucy scrambled to get out of the car and run up to the front door as fast as she could. Not only did Lucy enjoy going there, we feel like we made life-long friends! What a blessing to find this wonderful couple!”

“Katie did an excellent job providing doggy daycare services for Maximus. She is a great communicator, very responsive, and kept me comfortable throughout the process. It is clear that she is truly passionate about dogs and genuinely loves caring for them. Her dog Louie is also very sweet, which made the experience even better. Katie has a beautiful fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and enjoy themselves safely. I would definitely recommend Katie to anyone looking for someone caring, reliable, and dog-loving to watch their pup.”

“Can highly recommend Rebecca!! Super accommodating and flexible with pick up times and took great care of my fur baby. She has a lovely fenced in backyard and the cutest dog who is a great companion and play mate. We'll be back!!”

“Jennifer was great and had a wonderful interview / acclamation process. Our two dogs got along well with her dog and it was an awesome day for everyone involved! Definitely recommended!”

“Ranesha, was so accommodating, she knows dogs so she felt super confident taking on our little puppy. She sent constant photos and also was flexible with the time. Will definitely book again.”

About: We have three miniature schnauzers and a medium size Pharaoh hound that we adopted a few years ago. We have been the go to pet sitters for friends and family members for several years. Our family loves dogs and when they stay with us, we treat them like our family. Your babies will be well loved in our home. I work out of the house a couple days a week. Usually on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a flexible schedule and work at home often. When I am not home, our adult daughter is usually here and also helps with the dogs. We have full family participation in the care of our pup friends. I can care for your small dogs in my home. I have a large, fully fenced yard so there is room to run and have fun!
About: My name is Ashlee. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past few years, I’ve started caring for others after my sweet Chihuahua name Jezzie pasted away due to old age. I have experience caring for dogs and cats with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds, including fostering. I work from home so your baby will get nonstop attention. I only board small to medium size dogs (Less than 30 pounds, I will accommodate outside of that on some rare occasions- feel free to ask). I specialize and care for lots of puppies, elderly dogs that need extra medical care. I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! ***PLEASE NOTE:*** ***PLEASE NOTE:*** IF your male fur baby likes to “Mark” his territory, please consider another experienced and qualified sitter- Please Do Not attempt to book with me. I thrive to keep a clean, sanitized and fresh smelling home for humans (big and small) and fur babies. Thanks I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weeks 7 days a week and I am open to accommodating emergencies as well. I live in a townhouse/condo with a front and back yard. There are sidewalks where we can go for a walk and a doggy park near by. I ensure water is accessible at all times- if pet is a free eater- food will be accessible as well. I ensure the baby gates are up and leashes are readily in site for potty breaks. I do not mind providing baths as well if your fur baby has a little too much fun outside.
“Oh my goodness, Genesis was amazing!! My 50 lb dog has so much energy and she was able to physically exercise her and then even did mental games with her afterwards. She sent me pictures throughout the day and Lucy looked exhausted and happy. Will definitely refer her to my friends!”

“Roseann's home is a great place to leave your fur baby. It is clean and fresh and I had no qualms about leaving my Gizmo with her. She has a deck that the pups can go out and watch the activity. Roseann walks the dogs 3 times a day and the pics I got showed my pup really enjoyed that. Her own dog is so sweet and well behaved. I will absolutely leave Gizmo with Roseann again.”

“Wonderful experience with Oklie! Oklie can be a little anxious and she did wonderful here. Would recommend and would definitely use again if we are in the area. Thanks for taking care of our sweet girl.”

About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.
“Calm in the midst of what felt like canine chaos. LeKesha has the patience of Job; calm and easy going. LeKesha hosts multiple Rover guests and projects a calm and anxiety free environment. LeKesha introduces dogs new to each other in a slow and controlled way, after everyone is calm. I was anxious, but LeKesha remained calm and confident that all the pups would be fine. Her confidence helped diminish my anxiety about leaving my pup in a new environment. My pup had a great time meeting new pups, new people and exploring the yard. After her first night, after daycare, she conked right out that evening.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who treats every pup like part of the family. I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10, and I still get just as excited every time I meet a new furry friend! I work from home full time, which means your pup will get plenty of love, attention, and playtime throughout the day. My 10-year-old daughter is my little helper and loves spending time with our overnight guests. We also have a friendly 6-year-old Shepherd Lab mix who’s always ready to make a new buddy. Our fenced-in backyard is perfect for zoomies, and we’ve got safe sidewalks nearby for fun, sniff-filled walks. We do ask that our doggy guests are potty trained. I’ve also volunteered and fostered with our local humane society, so I know how to keep pups happy, healthy, and feeling right at home. Your dog might miss you just a little—but I promise, they’ll have such a blast they won’t even notice you’re gone! Feel free to reach out with any questions. I can’t wait to welcome your fur baby into our home! Since I work from home, your pup will have plenty of attention and outdoor time whenever they need it! This was my first Rover experience! Let’s just say I will never board my dog in another facility. Leidy by far provides the best customer service. She communicated with me throughout the day as well as send photos. She’s very attentive and took well care of my dog. I’m booking with her for all of my vacations!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Peachtree City commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
