“Rilea helped us out at the last minute when a friend canceled on us, and we are not used to leaving our dog with someone we don’t know. But she made friends with our little Bambino right away and was excellent at giving us a daily report with lots of photos. She is amazing!”

“Highly recommend! My first time using a service like this but it was excellent! Blue was wonderful with my dog, updates and pictures put my mind at ease. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Sierra was a lifesaver when we needed last minute drop in visits for my mom’s cat the day before we left town for a long weekend. Excellent care and communication. Would give 6 stars if that was an option. We look forward to using her again.”

“Rachel was super sweet and ready to help us out in any way with our dog. She asked lots of questions in order to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She provided lots of fun play time with Lulu and love the pictures! We'll definitely ask her for another visit soon. Very happy.”

“Emma was great with our kitties. She was able to administer medicine successfully to one of our cats and we were very impressed! She also sent us pictures of them to show they were doing well and everything was going fine. Overall we were very happy with Emma and will be booking her again!”

“Blythe is God send and just AMAZING! She did drop ins for our two kitties (though one hid the whole time but she found him!). Always on time and providing updates, as needed. Also, her cheerful and positive attitude made me feel at ease immediately. I already booked her for a stay in-home week while we’re out of town for work! Thank you, Blythe!”

“Bhavana has a great energy that put us our dogs at ease right away during her Meet & Greet. We felt confident and comfortable to enjoy our vacation while she was caring for Lucy and Lola. Thank you!”

“AMAZING! I cannot recommend Barbara enough, she was so sweet and kind to our Chowpei, I booked her last minute due to a family vacation mishap that turned out to be an emergency event. Barbara was always on time trustworthy and spent time with Charlotte. It was truly one less thing I had to worry about. I would give her 6 stars if I could. 🙏🏼❤️”

“Zoe took great care of our small senior dog. We felt so comfortable knowing our fur baby was comfortable in her own bed and being looked after by a kind person. Highly recommend Zoe!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10+ years! Before I moved to Peachtree City, I assisted with a local non profit rescue, Furever After Rescue. I’ve assisted them with dog sitting and fostering (both young pups and older dogs). I have two Italian Greyhounds myself and have had them for the past 5 years. I understand how worrisome it can be to leave the care of your fur family member in the hands of a stranger, but rest assured my service will ease your angst! I provide checkups and photos as requested on a consistent basis. Please allow me to put your mind at ease while you’re away! My husband and I work from home and we are great at multi-tasking. I work extremely early; therefore, I have plenty of time to ensure that your pet is taken care of. I currently offer a maximum of two pets to stay with me at a time. I have an upstairs and downstairs and plenty of room for everyone to run around! I only have two fur babies and no children!

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own dog. I’ve been raising her since she was 9 weeks old and she’s now 2 years old. Through that experience I’ve learned how to be patient, and responsible when it comes to dog’s needs❤️. I understand how important routines, exercise, playtime, and lots of love are for dogs. I’m very attentive to their behavior and comfort to make sure they feel safe and happy while their owners are away. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I’ll treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and affection. And I’m happy to send photo updates and messages so you always know how your dog is doing! I have a pretty flexible schedule and can make time to give your dog the care and attention they need. I’m available for walks, and pet sitting. I make sure dogs get plenty of playtime, exercise, and love. Since I have my own dog, I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I’ve been raising my own dog since she was 9 weeks old and she’s now 2 years old, so I understand how much care, patience, and attention dogs need. I always make sure dogs feel safe, get enough exercise, and stay on their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll treat your dog like my own and I’m happy to send photo updates so you know they’re doing well.
“Amanda did a great job with our two bunnies. She was very attentive and caring, and loved on them while we were gone. Would highly recommend and will be using her in the future.”

About: Dog mom to a Chihuahua and Labrador. Human slave to a cat named Charlie. Growing up I always had dogs as pets, taking care of them is second nature. I’m a freelancer in the entertainment industry, so I have plenty of time to watch your fur kids morning, noon, and night. I also have a nice fenced in backyard. I have a fenced in backyard and two dogs to keep your fur kids company. I also work from home most days, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets.
About: Love is all it takes to connect with an animal. I've cared for dogs most of my life, personally, most of whom were rescue animals. I've also walked, fed, and taken in dogs of friends and neighbors. I have recently adopted a canine companion that was on the euthanasia list. A sad reality these days. There is no better, or more loyal friend, especially for seniors, than a canine or feline companion. All they require is love and kindness. I provide very personalized care and attention, aware that each dog, like humans, has its own personality and needs, and I love getting to know them. Animals have a sixth sense regarding who they can trust and who they cannot. Whether in my home or in the "parents" home; pets have play time and quiet time, and lots of outdoor time. Often this includes taking them to the dog park.
“Katrina was phenomenal! She understands of behavior and made sure she understood the chemistry of both dogs! She ensured she met them prior to the first drop-in visit and spent that time learning what she needed to. I had peace of mind knowing my babies were in her care!”

Maddie was awesome. This was our first experience with her and she did not disappoint. Her whole focus was our two dogs. Spending quality time with each one insuring not only were their needs of fee, watering and outside to pee, poop and run off some energy accomplished; but she loved on them a lot and did things like brushing their coats and cleaning their dog bowls at the end of the visits. We felt very comfortable with Maddie taking care of our dogs and will use her in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
