“Amazing sitter! She sent so many pictures on the rover card and went above and beyond during the booking when there was a emergency. She followed all the instructions carefully and was always on-time. Will definitely book again! Highly recommend”
About: I enjoy dogs. I like to watch them, play with them and give them belly rubs. i enjoy their company and having them nuzzle my hand for head rubs. I am retired, so I am available to give time and care to animals in my daily and weekly routine. I enjoy playing with dogs, getting them to "sing" and rewarding with healthy treats. I have a fairly large fenced yard. My home is open concept, so aside from private spaces, I can see and interact with dogs. I have two dogs, a dachshund and a mixed pekingese/terrier. Both are spayed with up to date vaccinations.
“I can’t recommend Danielle enough! She takes amazing care of Skye, sending regular updates and adorable photos so I could relax knowing my pup was happy and safe. I’m so grateful for Danielle’s kindness and reliability. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Briony was amazing with Cooper and he really enjoyed his time with her! It was my first time leaving him with a new person. She was very patient, communicative, supportive while I was away. She really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable with the care she provided. Cooper had several hot spots that were in different phases of healing. She was very attentive to his care and made sure he got what he needed during every visit. Furthermore, after a power outage, my fridge had a leak. She communicated that to me asap and did what she could to ensure there was no additional damage. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!”

“Sebastian took exceptional care of my three Rottweilers while I was away. He is fantastic with large breeds and handled all three of my babies with patience, confidence, and genuine care. He administered medications with ease, cleaned up after accidents without hesitation, and made sure they were happy and well cared for. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily pictures and updates, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. It’s not easy finding someone you can trust with large dogs, but Sebastian exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and knowledgeable pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with him again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Rachel was super sweet and ready to help us out in any way with our dog. She asked lots of questions in order to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She provided lots of fun play time with Lulu and love the pictures! We'll definitely ask her for another visit soon. Very happy.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the very beginning, Taylor’s communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. Leaving my boys for six days can be stressful, but I felt completely at ease knowing our boys were in such capable and caring hands. Throughout the stay, I received consistent updates, including photos and messages that showed just how happy and well cared for our boys were. It was evident that Taylor took the time to understand my boys’ routine, personality, and needs. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
