“Rilea is THE best. This is the second time she’s looked after my pittie mix and she is always communicative and so sweet to both me and my pup. She handled my super-strong and willfully determined (and sometimes reactive) pittie super well and it’s really been a delight to see her and my pup bond thru thorough updates and lots of photos. I can’t recommend her enough!! ♥️”

About: Hello Everyone! I’m 23 years old and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs and now proudly care for 4 cats of my own, so I understand the love, patience, and attention pets need to feel safe and happy. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats of all personalities and enjoy making sure every pet gets plenty of care, playtime, affection, and attention while their owners are away. I treat every animal like family and always strive to create a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment for your pets. My schedule allows me to provide reliable and consistent pet care throughout the weekends. I’m available Friday after 5- Sunday! Saturday and Sunday I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies! I offer flexible availability for walks, playtime, drop-ins, or extended care. I’m committed to making sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while providing plenty of love, attention, and care. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive walks or playtime, and get lots of affection and companionship. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats and understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level. I also respect my clients’ homes and always keep the space clean, safe, and secure while they’re away. Whether it’s drop-in visits, overnight stays, or daily care, I focus on making pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment and giving owners peace of mind knowing their animals are being treated like family.
“Jason was great for my two pups! We hired him for 3 different stays and when we decided to stay longer on one trip he was able to help us out. My pups instantly liked him at our meet and greet. Jason was very caring and attentive to our dogs and took very good care of them. Will definitely will use him again in the future.!”
“THE best sitter with my kitties. One is usually very antisocial, but warmed up to her within a visit. They LOVE her! She made sure to visit with them the full thirty mins and I truly appreciate the quality of her care.”

“Austin is a life saver. We have two dogs, one who is very nervous and protective and even had a biting incident. This made it very difficult for us to go on vacations since finding a sitter would be difficult. We reached out to Austin, explained the situation, and asked if he could come by every couple of weeks for the dog to get used to him, and he said he'd be happy to help us. The plan worked and, after several visits, we were able to go on a five day vacation! Austin cared for the dogs each day, showed up on time, sent pictures and notes, and even said he and the dog had bonded by the end! We recommend and will definitely use Austin in the future.”

“We had a great first time experience with Maddie! Love her personality and her love of fur babies! We felt very comfortable knowing Maddie was taking care of our boys. She shared multiple pictures that confirmed they were being all taken care of! Will definitely love to book her again in the near future!”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! Family, friends, neighbors, have trusted and relied on me for all their pet needs. I currently work full time but with a flexible schedule! Early mornings, afternoons, and some weekends are my availability. Short term or long term works great! I am able to come to your home and/or take your sweet pup to a dog park. I can crate, or simply let in and out. Really your preference.

“Veronica took care of our 4 dogs for 10 days and did a wonderful job. She was always on time, kept us updated on how the gang was doing and made sure each pet stayed on their routine. We received many pics of the pets and you could see everyone was well taken care of during our trip. Will definitely use Veronica in the future!”

“Amanda did a great job with our two bunnies. She was very attentive and caring, and loved on them while we were gone. Would highly recommend and will be using her in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 30 years and grew up with both dogs and cats. I currently have a rescue pup named Spot and have cared for pets for friends, neighbors, and families while they traveled. For over a year, I visited a friend’s dogs multiple times a day while she worked as a traveling nurse. I provided food, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I also offer litter box cleaning, mail collection, plant watering, and photo updates. I enjoy caring for friendly, house-trained pets and always prefer a meet-and-greet beforehand so your pet feels comfortable with me. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to provide dependable care seven days a week, including weekends and most holidays. I work part-time remotely, so I can typically visit up to three times a day. I pride myself on being reliable, punctual, and communicating with pet owners so you always know how your pet is doing. I know your pets are family, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep routines consistent, and always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. I prefer meeting your pet before accepting a booking so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable. I’ll also send photos and updates after every visit because I know how reassuring it is to see a happy face while you’re away.
“Allyson made me feel comfortable with her watching Bentley! She took care of him even though he pottied in his crate. Grateful for sitters like you Allyson! Will be booking again??”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life, currently my wife and I have a very friendly Aussie/poodle mix dog named Nyx and a Siberian cat named Boots. I also own some pet crates and can make it nice and comfy for your special dog or cat.

Melissa was fantastic with our pup Reggie! He had a nail incident and she went above and beyond to communicate with us and make sure Reggie was good to go before ending the drop in. She’s kind and my pup loved her. 10/10 recommend and will be booking her again!

Maddie was awesome. This was our first experience with her and she did not disappoint. Her whole focus was our two dogs. Spending quality time with each one insuring not only were their needs of fee, watering and outside to pee, poop and run off some energy accomplished; but she loved on them a lot and did things like brushing their coats and cleaning their dog bowls at the end of the visits. We felt very comfortable with Maddie taking care of our dogs and will use her in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
