About: I've had a lifelong passion for animals. While in college, I spent a year volunteering at the Jacksonville Zoo, which solidified my interest in animal care and conservation. I was grateful for the chance to work as an assistant zookeeper and meet some of the most amazing animals. Taking care of animals and others have always been a passion of mine. I am now working from home on a part-time basis. I have a lot of availability, so I'll have enough time to play with your pups and attend to all of your requirements. Each animal under my care will receive a daily photo or video update. Every day of the week, I provide my whole attention to each guest in my care. I have plenty of space and a backyard to play with your wonderful animal pals and cater to all of their requirements. Please let me know if you have any specific processes or needs. Because the backyard is not fenced in, they will need to wear a leash or harness. They will be the focus of my attention. Dogs in my care are allowed to participate in outdoor play sessions and go for regular walks. They are supervised to ensure their safety and well-being, and the playtime helps to keep them active and healthy while also providing mental stimulation. It is important to have their vet contact information on hand in case of allergies, vaccines, and flea and tick treatment. I've worked with dogs who are afraid of thunderstorms; it's all about keeping them calm. This may be achieved by providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere for them throughout the storm and applying soothing methods like music or toys. Making sure they get adequate attention at this time may also help them feel less fearful and nervous.

I will drop in at your home to care for you fur children.

“Bhavana has a great energy that put us our dogs at ease right away during her Meet & Greet. We felt confident and comfortable to enjoy our vacation while she was caring for Lucy and Lola. Thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Tia! As a lifelong animal lover, a mom, and a proud pet parent to three fur babies of my own, I know exactly how much trust it takes to leave your four-legged family member in someone else's care. That’s why my promise to you is simple: I will treat your pet exactly like my own. I am incredibly blessed to live on over a full acre of land, giving your dog plenty of room to safely run, explore, and play to their heart's content. With over 10 years of experience as both a pet owner and a dedicated dog sitter, I am well-versed in managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pup wants to spend the day fetching in the big backyard or curling up on the couch for some family snuggle time, they’ll find a safe, loving, and attentive environment here. I work from home with a flexible working schedule. I am an early bird, and I love to get out and about taking walks with my kids and just spending time as a family. I typically like to meet your animals energy needs where they are. I have two dogs both super sweet and friendly. One senior and one middle aged. Both of girls will gladly keep your pups company and play with them. Or give them space as needed. It's definitely an adjustment coming to a new home even for a few days so we give your animals space if needed or time to adjust.
“Ranesha communicated well and quickly. She did everything as requested. I can’t thank her enough because my request was last minute. I’m confident my pups and I have met our forever friend”

About: I have had experience with pet sitting for friends and family! I have done anywhere from daily check-ins to multiple hour sitting, so I am super flexible! I am going to be a freshman in college so my location will be changing starting mid-August! I just moved cities so I have a pretty flexible schedule! For walks, I will make sure leash is always secure while also avoiding busy areas if possible! I am a big believer on positive reinforcement, always making sure to keep your animals comfortable and happy. I also provide regular photo updates to my clients!!
“Austin is a life saver. We have two dogs, one who is very nervous and protective and even had a biting incident. This made it very difficult for us to go on vacations since finding a sitter would be difficult. We reached out to Austin, explained the situation, and asked if he could come by every couple of weeks for the dog to get used to him, and he said he'd be happy to help us. The plan worked and, after several visits, we were able to go on a five day vacation! Austin cared for the dogs each day, showed up on time, sent pictures and notes, and even said he and the dog had bonded by the end! We recommend and will definitely use Austin in the future.”

“Christina is amazing! Truvy loves her and had so much fun with her. Christina communicated each visit. She is a very caring and compassionate dog person! You will love her.”

“Veronica took care of our 4 dogs for 10 days and did a wonderful job. She was always on time, kept us updated on how the gang was doing and made sure each pet stayed on their routine. We received many pics of the pets and you could see everyone was well taken care of during our trip. Will definitely use Veronica in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about sixteen. I would go to the clients house walk their dog, and feed and care for it upon the clients request. I’m currently working a full- time job , but I enjoy caring for animals so much I thought why not pick it up as a side gig. I care for my mom’s dog every now and then when they go away for a long time. I tend to check on the dog prior to going to work then right after work and again around 9 or 10. On weekends I try to check on the dog a little bit more so she doesn’t have any accidents. I tend to care for pets in a clients home by dropping by before it is time to care for their fur- baby and understanding where everything is and exactly what they would like me to do.
“We booked Madison for drop-in visits, and she was fantastic! Always on time, very reliable, and took great care of our dog while we were away. It was such a relief knowing our dog was in good hands. She gave thoughtful updates and clearly went above and beyond. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!”
“Michelle did a great job checking on my dog Charlie! She was right on time with the visits. She also communicated and sent several pics. Charlie looked like he was having a great time!”

About: I’ve taken care of canines ever since I was 12. Whether it was for family etc inc fostering fur babies finding their Furever home!! Love-It I’m currently working full-time at Lifeline Animal Project as a Supervisor but I’m still able to fit in the basic care and needs of other fur babies preferably on the weekends but I’m willing to make other arrangements if needed just contact in advance. I have more than enough space to properly take care of your fur baby and their needs and can crate them for bed time if needed. If there’s any additional questions you may have feel free to reach out and I will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge.
About: I love animals in general. I had a fish, a rabbit, and a guinea pig, but my dog and my cat are the ones that I am closest to. I love to play with them, dogs and cats are so funny when they are in play mode! I'm currently available early mornings and evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Only early mornings on Tuesdays. My weekends are pretty much open on both days, I can adjust as needed. I always make sure that they have enough water first, and food depending on the instructions. Quick health check by observing them and making sure everything is good, and that they are feeling and looking their normal selves :-)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Tyrone
Rachael is everything you’re looking for in a pet sitter. She obviously loves animals because she spent time playing with our 3 shihtzus instead of just letting them out to potty. She made certain they had a chance to potty and took them out twice. We have hard headed pups! She was dependable and on time with each visit. She gave thorough updates and plenty of photos. I would definitely try to schedule her if she’s available.

Melissa was fantastic with our pup Reggie! He had a nail incident and she went above and beyond to communicate with us and make sure Reggie was good to go before ending the drop in. She’s kind and my pup loved her. 10/10 recommend and will be booking her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
