As soon as you bring your dog to me we'll go for a walk in order to create a bond and allow your dog to get a feel for the neighborhood and golf cart paths. I worked as a registered nurse for 35 years. Since retirement, I moved to Peachtree City in order to be close to my kids and grandkids. I'm active taking Pilates classes and playing pickleball but will devote my time to your pet when they are in my care. I love the freedom retirement has given me. Sharing my time with four-legged friends is the best ~ second only to my GrandKids. ❣️

My home is your pets home from the minute they get here until you pick them up. I live within walking distance to Glenloch Park. If you have an active dog, we will take multiple walks daily to the park and on the golf cart paths. If your dog has any favorite movies we can do that too:) If you can, bring a big T-shirt with your scent. Also, toys, a no pull harness and leash are appreciated. I'm good with any special needs your pet might have. Please know I love cats too! ❤️

Information Rebecca J. would like to know about your pet
The meet n greet prior to your pet coming to my home is very important so we can get to know each other beforehand. Any special needs your pet may have, please let me know. Although I don't really like any pet to be in a crate, if I need to run an errand I will use a crate for your dog. It's for their safety most of all. ~ Have vaccination records? - Is your dog trained to walk with a leash? ~ Is your dog crate trained? ~ Spayed or neutered? ~ Potty accidents in the house? ~ Friendly with kids and other dogs? ~ Low, medium or high energy?
A typical day
Staycation for your pet! Food and treats per your instructions. We'll play, check out all the scents at parks and along the golf cart paths daily. It will be fun and my pleasure to spend time with your sweet dog (or cat). Since I'm retired, your pet will have my company and time:)

Pet care experience
I've loved animals all my life. My goal is to make your pet's stay as stress-free and fun as possible. Here's some info about me. Two months after hurricane Maria I lived in Puerto Rico for 2 years taking care of homeless dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and horses. There are hundreds! I became a volunteer with the rescue group Homeward Bound. Recently, my kitty passed away at age 18 and now I am opening my home to love your pet the way I have mine and all the others I've cared for over the years.

I did a meet and greet with rebecca to meet her with my pups and she has a really nice set up in our house. It’s clean. It’s safe. It’s got hardwood floors. No fence in yard, but she did say that she would take the dogs for multiple walks during the day to get . She’s lots of nice places for pups to rest and also toys for them to play with. Meet and greet went well and she also has a cute pup that got along with my dogs. I went ahead with a booking and the first day. Rebecca was really wonderful at sending pictures and videos of all the fun times they were having together. She was also very quick to ask questions if there were any. Unfortunately, my puppy had an upset tummy from a true bone and ended up having an accident in the crate and it was all a little overwhelming and so I ended up having to cut the visit short and find another sitter just for the rest of the time that was needed. She was very good at communicating and making sure we found a good fit for my dogs. I appreciate her concern and also the care that she gave, and I feel awful that she had a sleepless night. I think ultimate in the end my pups are just not a good fit as they are high energy and can sometimes get excited over things on walks. I would definitely go over details and leave instructions, which I didn’t. She found very helpful about any quirks for your pups. I would also make sure what other commitments the sitter has at that time to make sure if there are other dogs or other pets that will be staying there during the duration of your stay and if she has other commitments during that time in case your pups need more attention. I know one of my dogs is very shy, and there was a dog that was booked during the day which I didn’t know about and if I had known, I would’ve booked someone else that didn’t have because I know that would’ve stressed my dog out.
Indy had a wonderful time and was well taken care of! Thank you Rebecca!

B was great with Churos and always kept me posted with pictures and updates

Coco loved staying with Mrs. B. She sent lots of updates, pictures, and videos of all the fun they were having. Pugsley is also very welcoming! 🥰 I had to have surgery and Mrs. B even continued to check on me afterwards! She is AMAZING!!! 💙💙💙
