“We couldn't be happy with Sheri. We have a 9 week old German Shepherd that is full of energy and mischief. She has taken very good care of our baby. We are going to continue with her services for Wolfgang. Highly recommended!”

“Lisa was an amazing - we were gone a few days, this was the first time I had ever left my kitten with someone that wasn’t family. I would leave him a month with Lisa! She sent pictures morning and night, left everything spotless and made the kitties feel safe. Highly reccomend her for all your animal needs. Would book her 100x over!!!”

“Lisa was great! I could tell the kitties loved her because they were calm and relaxed when we returned. This was our first time working with Lisa but I will be reaching out to her again for sure.”

About: I've worked as an emergency veterinary technician for the past 6 years, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and medical needs. My experience includes administering medications, recognizing signs of illness or emergencies, caring for senior pets, puppies, and pets with chronic medical conditions. I understand pet behavior and know how to keep animals calm, comfortable, and safe. Whether your pet needs a let out to potty, medications administered, or someone experienced with special medical needs, I'll treat them like they're my own and keep you updated every step of the way. I work overnight shifts at a clinic, which gives me flexibility during the week to care for pets. I'm available for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting throughout the week, and I do my best to accommodate each pet owner's schedule. I provide dependable care and make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. As a single mom, pets staying in my home must be friendly and comfortable around respectful children as well with other animals. I provide a clean, loving, and supervised environment, follow your pet's routine closely, and can accommodate feeding schedules, medications, and other special instructions. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Katrina was wonderful with my kitty cat Thelma. I was nervous about leaving for a week, but she provided me with such a peace of mind. She was prompt with her responses, took pictures of Thelma (which isn’t too easy because she’s incredibly shy and introverted), and gave me thorough updates. I highly recommend Katrina. I will only use her in the future. If she will have us!”

“Aubrey is an excellent sitter, she went above and beyond. She took amazing care of my cats, cleaning liter perfectly and giving them their wet food. She is a quick responder and really helped me feel my cats were super safe!”

“Lan was a great sitter for our pups! She was on time, paid attention to how they were doing and made sure they were taken care of. On top of doing a nice job she was willing to help us out very last minute and quickly read up on all of the instructions. We’re so glad to have met her and would definitely work with her again!”

“Mackenzie gave me great photos and report on Stinky. She even rinsed off Stinkys wet food dishes and put them in the dishwasher which was a great surprise for me. I’m glad I’ve booked her again Thank you Mackenzie”

About: I have had taken care of/lived with various dog breeds, and have walked and raised dogs since I can remember. I recently began volunteering at Alaqua walking and playing with dogs, and I have experience dog sitting and walking my neighbors dogs. I have worked with puppies, middle aged dogs, older dogs, both big and small! I love dogs unconditionally and I will do everything in my power to ensure they stay spoiled and happy :). I work part-time closing shifts at my job, so I am available for early mornings and late nights. I work whenever I am scheduled, but I am always off on Wednesdays! My normal shift is normally 4pm-10pm, so I am available to dog sit, check-in, or walk before and after my shift! I cannot care for pets at my own home, but I will ensure that when I come to your home, I will keep it looking good as new. I am a chronic dish washer if any dishes or slight cleaning needs to be made. I am also no stranger to accidents that dogs are prone to, as one of my past dogs had a sensitive stomach, especially when it came to my carpeted floors. I will do whatever your dog wants to do, but my favorite aspect of it all is to ensure that the dog is happy and to make a connection with them. I love being active and playing, but I can also just simply snuggle up with them.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for as long as I can remember! From pit bulls to poodles. I currently have a German shepherd husky mix and she is the sweetest, gets along great with other dogs. I’m not currently working so I’m fully available to house sit and/or walk your animals as often as you need. I love dogs and cats! I currently live in an apartment with my doggie, kitty, and two year old son. He loves helping me feed our pets and take them outside to play and go on walks. We have a small fenced dog park in our apartment complex. We go there often. But I prefer to care for your pets in your home where they are comfortable. I’m unfortunately not allowed to have other pets in my home.

About: Hi! I’m Sthefany, and caring for animals is truly my passion. I’ve had experience with a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and hamsters, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities and needs. I especially love spending time with dogs—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or visiting dog parks to keep them active and happy. Your pet will be treated like family in my care, with plenty of attention, affection, and supervision at all times. I also have 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant and 5 years of paid experience in dog walking, boarding, and pet sitting. I can provide services such as pet sitting, boarding, feeding, light grooming, and exercise. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! 🐾 I am currently a full-time college student, with about half of my classes online, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the day. I am home most of the time, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care for your pet. I have plenty of time for regular potty breaks, playtime, and walks, and I’m available for boarding, sitting, and drop-ins on both weekdays and weekends. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my boyfriend and our dog, Shadow, a 2.5-year-old mixed breed who is very friendly, playful, and great with other dogs. I always do slow, controlled introductions to make sure all pets feel safe and comfortable. I provide a clean, safe, and structured environment with consistent routines for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I follow each pet’s specific care instructions closely, including medications, special diets, or routines. I have 5+ years of experience in dog walking, boarding, and pet sitting, along with 1 year as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable handling different temperaments, energy levels, and basic health needs. ✨ Why choose me: I provide personalized, attentive care—not just basic supervision. I treat every pet like family and focus on keeping them happy, active, and stress-free. I also send regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

“During our meeting before the actual booking, Megan asked questions about our cat's behavior. She learned about his likes and preferences. She spent time making sure she did those special things with him which we and our cat appreciated. Megan is kind and knowledgeable about animals. We will book her again.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for most of my adult life, about 20 years. I have a love for all animals and caring for them brings me great joy. I recently moved to Panama City from Eastern Pennsylvania and am a veteran of the Army Reserves. Currently trying to find steady work but in the meantime I'm available anytime to dog/cat sit. My hours for pet care are ideally early morning - mid afternoon. Extended overnight sits can be accommodated. Walks and Visits are easily doable for me in the morning and daytime. I’d be willing to follow and adhere to any rules/restrictions for myself and their pets to a standard I hold myself to as a responsible human being for a pet.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Panama City Beach
Eva did a wonderful job dropping in on our cat, Mako. Beyond making sure he had food, water, and a clean litter box, she took the time to play and cuddle with him. Eva sent a descriptive update and a photo with every visit. It was so nice to know he had someone to look forward to each morning!

She was wonderfull my dog, who we got during covid hasn't really been around a lot of people. And she was so happy to see her come in and see her the meet and greet went, well. The drop ins went well.I think it really helped her out a lot cause. This is the first time being alone, and we're trying to get her used to it.And Katelyn helped out tremendously i'm definitely gonna book her again when we need her

I felt very comfortable and glad to have Allison watching Honey. Allison took great care with her, was on time and flexible, allowing us to add another visit at the last minute when we realized we weren’t going to be back until late. And I loved the fact that Allison hung out with Honey, so it was way more than just a check in. Thank you, Allison!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
