My lifelong love of animals came initially from my farming family and with the gift of a kitten in elementary school. Once married, I moved on to my own canines as well and learned the nuances of being a dog mom. I have thoroughly enjoyed the huge impact pets have on our wellbeing. I've rescued pets, owned full breeds, and shelter animals with each bringing love into my life and the life of my family. After becoming widowed, a son wanted his father's dog, which has left me pet-less for the first time in my life. I now can share this love and the responsiblity I know you need from a pet sitter as a 20 year pet mom and former banker to help you when you need someone who respects and values your pets as much as you do!

I believe in tailoring care to your pet, so as to meet the exercise, emotional and feeding needs of your animal. Depending on services, we can craft a plan which best meets your pet's needs and your finances
A typical day
For locations over 10 miles from my home there will be a $5 additional fee which allows I can serve in vacation areas without losing out due to the cost of gas and extra miles. Please note I can also watch pets at your home for a few hours at less than the daily house sitting rate. Please provide your unique situation and we can discuss which service cost best matches your needs. Walks and playing outside are key to high energy dogs keeping their emotions in tact so I am a big proponent of being outside and it gets my energy out as well since I am a thru hiker! Additionally, time inside to relax and have emotional support is also important so I will tailor the care to your instructions for your individual pet
