“We will definitely be adding Barbara to our weekly schedule from now on! Ripley has only been to daycare twice but always runs to her at drop off. I know she’s in good hands!”

“First of all, Tara’s place is very suitable for dogs. It is secure with plenty room to run around. We left our 6 month old high energy golden-doodle with Tara for the day. It was the first time being away from us we were worried he would have some anxiety. Tara was great giving us updates throughout the day with pictures. Without hesitation we plan on bringing him back for our next vacation. Thank you Tara!”

“Our Athena adores Gus! He has such a loving spirit & connects deeply with her & her care. He is friendly, professional, dependable, and a prompt communicator. We are extremely fortunate to have found him & not sure what we would do without him!”

“Lynda, Roberto and Maria M. we’re fantastic. They immediately put me at ease by showing me their backyard, allowing my dog Bailey to meet their two dogs and they also showed me the areas the dogs rest during the day. They are very genuine and kind people and I could tell they genuinely love dogs. They are open and communicative and sent me pictures, and video throughout the day. Bailey has the tendency to get nervous when we leave her somewhere new and they were wise to keep Bailey busy while I left so that she didn’t notice me go and they gently let her get used to their home at her pace. I will definitely take Bailey again.”

“Yaneli did a marvelous job keeping our Athena active & happy. Athena enjoyed playing with Yaneli’s dog & being out for an extensive hike. Yaneli really went above & beyond in making sure Athena was exercised & entertained!!!!”

“A big thank you to Kristina for her care and attention with Figo today! She made sure all the dogs got along (mine and a few others she was dogsitting). I also appreciated getting to take time to help him get acquainted with the other dogs when I dropped him off. Perhaps most importantly, Kristina kept a close eye on my dog…he’s nearly blind and she has a pool in the yard, so she made sure someone was watching him at all times. All said, it was a smooth morning/afternoon!”

“Brittani was great and my puppies came home happy and tired. It was their first time at daycare so they were nervous at first but I was told they settled in and had a great time. They’ll certainly be going back.”

“Felicia and Michael take such great care of my dog! My dog loves playing with their dog, Stout, and gets so excited to go over there every week. They are very flexible and accommodating with my changes in schedule. They have a nice amount of structure, so my dog maintains his manners when he comes back to me. My dog always comes home calm and contented. It’s been a great experience.”

About: Hi friends! If this is your first time looking to book with me—welcome, I encourage you to read through my profile thoroughly so we have no surprises. I have been caring for animals of all kinds since I was very little, hence I bring around fifteen years of solid animal husbandry experience. My animal care experience ranges from cats and horses to dogs and smaller caged animals like rodents, reptiles and aquarium fish and turtles. I truly love spending time with animals of all kinds and have chosen pet sitting as a way to be close to them without the harder aspects of being a veterinarian or vet technician. This is a side job for me so to speak; I’m a full time mom first and animal carer second. Routine is important and I get that! It keeps my household running smoothly with several cats, dog, a leopard gecko and my children. I handle all of the morning and evening feedings, litter box maintenance, and transdermal medication administration for one of our cats. In your home, it’s your rules. I will abide by the guidelines you set out for your babies and myself when conducting visits in your home. That being set, please be very clear with your expectations of their care from the start. Do not surprise me when you’re already gone with extra things that I need to do. I’m generally happy to do a range of tasks such as watering plants, bringing in and taking out trash, and retrieving mail, but you need to communicate this to me.

About: I love dogs, cats and all types of animals! I grew up on a ranch in Oregon so I have a lot of experience with animals, especially dogs. My family and I had two labs and an Australian Shepard growing up. I’m comfortable with all sized dogs, I visit my brothers Great Dane in San Diego very often! I now go to UC Irvine, it’s my fourth year. I am able to drive anywhere and have flexible hours! I dog sit for my cousins when they go out of town. Their dog has a special diet and requires medicine and grooming needs. I am able to do all these things if needed. I would love if you let me take care of your dogs when you need someone!

“This was the first time we left our pup (5m) with someone other than family, and we were a bit apprehensive. Hope was responsive and accommodating right from the start. She and her BF Brian came and met us outside to help us find the apt., and immediately began playing with Daisy. We got multiple updates with photos throughout her stay, and came home to a very Happy and very tired puppy. She seemed to enjoy. playing with Hope's puppy Rock. We will definitely be scheduling more visits for Hope to puppy-sit, as well as playdates for Daisy & Rocky!❤️”

About: I have cared for rescue cats and dogs for over 40 years, I have also owned chickens and ducks, being a Registered nurse, I am comfortable providing medication or wound care and familiar with large breed dogs and fear aggression dogs I currently work as a remote nurse , but I have time to provide play and stimulation to keep your pets happy, I can let your dog out every 4-6 hours during the day and will be in the home from 6:30 pm to 5:00 am I currently have a 35 pound rescue mixed breed dog who loves other dogs and a play yard at my apartment complex and love to go on walks in the neighborhood.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I finally adopted my own 13 years ago as puppies and rescued 2 in 2021. They are all senior dogs now with special needs- diet and medical. My one is diabetic and requires 2 injections a day. They all take medication and follow a schedule. I work from home which allows me to care for my four dogs. I have the ability to help others at this time and would love to make sure their pets are well cared for. I know how challenging it was to find care for our boys when I didn’t work from home. I care for someone’s pet as they ask me too and as I do my own. No feeding food they aren’t allowed (treats that aren’t authorized), hand feeding if necessary, plenty of potty breaks in the backyard to run (my dogs prance) and roll in the grass. I have beds and blankets for them to choose from and cuddle time on the sofa too.

Oro Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had such a wonderful experience with Hope taking care of our two pups, Emma and LuWee. From the very beginning, Hope was incredibly kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with. She has such a positive energy—warm, approachable, and clearly very experienced. Throughout the visit, she kept us updated on how things were going, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our dogs’ comfort and safety. Her updates were thoughtful and reassuring, and we could tell Emma and LuWee were in great hands. Hope went above and beyond, and it was such a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you so much, Hope and Bryan!

Sara took excellent care of my pup. She was friendly and communicative, sending adorable picture updates of my pup on walks, playing outside, and comfortably relaxing on the sofa. Her kids and sweet golden, Skylar, were great companions and provided the exercise and interaction I was hoping for. I’d happily book Sara again. Thank you, Sara!
